Synopsis: The Ghost scopes out a piece of tech she needs at Queen Consildated... and admires its CEO as she passes.
Cast of Characters: Oliver Queen, Ava Starr

Oliver Queen has posed:
Mid-spring in Starling. While not as dreary as they say Gotham City is, it's not quite bright, blue-skied with the puffy little clouds dotting the landscape either. It's cloudy without a threat of rain, a touch on the chilly side, but at least it's not winter.

Sidewalks in the area are busy in the Business District of the city. Traffic fills the street, and during a lunch hour, food trucks line the avenues looking for their bit of 'the pie'.

In Queen Consolidated itself, in the lobby, the traffic is notably less busy; there are sales people coming and going, those taking the opportunity to step outside on break (cigarette breaks are still a thing!).

One of those who can be counted amongst the 'taking a break' is the CEO himself, Oliver Queen. He's nowhere near as -visible- as a CEO as Tony Stark; in fact, outside a few circles, he's one of the less recognized of businessmen. He'd made his name years ago as an irresponsible playboy, and now that he appears to have cleaned up his act (a little), not many actually recognize the man in a suit and tie.

Which is exactly what it is he's wearing. Tan suit jacket, white shirt, dark tie, shined shoes, the carefully manicured-look of 'five o'clock' shadow is obvious on his face. A hand is casually dropped in his pocket, a single button of his jacket is still attached as he speaks with the main receptionist in quiet tones.

Ava Starr has posed:
When Ava Starr walks into Queen Consolidated, she's in a completely different style of dress -- a specially designed whitish-grey tactical suit with a very odd looking helmet. It has almost a bug-like appearance to it, somehow. And a hood. Hoods are considered fashionable in the Starling City underground, aren't they? Not that it matters...

She ghosts in, quite literally. Intangible and invisible, the only sensors likely to pick her up are those designed to sense quantum energy. And there aren't really a lot of them around. For the moment, she's just looking. She's been told something she needs is here. But she needs to confirm it. And, as long as she doesn't need to physically interact with anything, she doesn't need to physically interact with any*one*, either.

She gives the CEO a second glance as she pases, to be sure. Why not? He's a fine looking man. And her profiler's eye says he's not just a playboy -- he's a very buff playboy. But he's also a distraction. And she has a bioscanner interface to find.

Oliver Queen has posed:
Sadly, Felicity hasn't yet installed her quantum energy detectors yet.

Yet.

As a result, Ava's arrival in her particular quantum state isn't noticed; not by Oliver, not by scanners, not by the ever vigilant IT Girl.

"Great. Just let him know I stepped out for a couple of minutes, okay?" Oliver tap-hits the desk lightly with his free hand once before turning to head towards the front doors and the food trucks just beyond.

Ava Starr has posed:
Ava moves to the elevator. She stands behind a fellow waiting to go up. When the doors open, she steps on with him. Even if he's not going to the right floor, it doesn't matter. She's learned how to count floors -- not a hard skill. Thus, when the elevator reaches the R&D floor, she dives from the car, rolling to a silent stop in the corridor outside the lab. She rises to her feet and phases through a wall, avoiding the electronics so she doesn't disrupt the computers unduly.

Slowly, she strolls through the department, peeking her head into locked rooms and assessing what is where. Security. Personnel movements. Lock-up locations. All of it is committed to memory.

Oliver Queen has posed:
Oliver steps through the plate-glass front doors, a hand on the door to keep it open for another to pass through behind him. There's something that makes him look behind him, back into the lobby, however, and blue eyes flicker back. There's nothing to see, nothing catches his eye, and once he's through the door, he lets it close behind him and he's out on the main concrete walkway in front of his building.

A deep breath of air is taken, and Oliver starts to make his way towards the Philippino food truck, and as he walks, he pulls out his phone to make a quick phone call.

Ava Starr has posed:
There it is. Ava stands there for a moment, regarding the prototype she's looking for, watching the techs and researchers move around it -- testing things and reconnecting a loose wire or two. So. Not quite ready.

Fine. She can wait. Not long, perhaps, but long enough.

Thus, she turns and strolls out of the lab, through counters and desks and walls, avoiding the electronics as she goes. She phases through the elevator and drops down, catching occasional handholds parkour style -- hardly a flicker in the dark shaft to give away the momentary tangibility necessary to accomplish the feat -- before she swings out of the shaft and into the lobby. Then, waving to a security guard who can't see her, she strolls out the front door, into the sunlight.
