Cast of Characters: Bobbi Morse, Daisy Johnson

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi isn't sitting behind the desk. She's standing with her back to the door and looking out the window at the bay outside. Quinjets landing and taking off. Her hands tucked behind her back, finger fidgeting with her wedding ring. She's dress in pants suit, lanyard hanging from the suit coat pocket. Her hair is up in a bun and she's wearing her reading glasses. She looks very put together and professional.

Hearing a knock on her door, she glances over her shoulder and smiles when she sees that it's Daisy. "Hey, come on in. Shut the door behind you." She turns around and walks past her desk to give Daisy a hug. "Take a seat," she says and then sits down behind her very ordered desk.

Her office hasn't been this clean and put together since she originally became a level 7. When she became level 8 it was the mess that was her stuff and Gonzales stuff. Now some junior shield agent has helped set up the office and she once again looks like she has her shit together.

One leg crosses over the other and she lounges back in her chair just a little more than is professional. "So.. what's new with you? Coulson got you running around investigating rumours of leprechauns?"

Daisy Johnson has posed:
A head pops in, then the rest of one Daisy Johnson coming in, a brow quirking up at the poise of Commander Morse looking out over the quinjets. "Look at you, an office with a view. Meanwhile, back at the cybersecurity cubicles..." oh yes, no views on *those*. Just to top grade servers and other top notch hardware. Orgasmic to some! Not so much to others. But she's smirking which means they, hey, she might even be joking.

Might.

She returns the hug before making way to the table, a finger swiping over the tabletop. "And it passes the cotton test." whatever that is!

"Leprechauns?" She blinks at Bobbi, head canting to the side. "Why would he do that?" she not yet sitting, instead making way to that window to glance outside, "But to answer, I have been focused on the secret warriors. Sent you a folder with the initial names. And please, no more pretending you don't know what it is." a grin, "It will be something I hope all of us will be able to get behind." Inhumans, that is.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
"You're not going to look iconic if you don't put your hands behind your back when you look out the window seeing a future yet built..." She can joke back just as well. "Well I figured with all the crazy stuff we've experienced, what could possibly happen next. Why not Leprechauns?"

She taps a finger on her tablet and brings up said document on the Secret Warriors, "Fury's serious about this initiative? I mean, good. I'm just surprised." This is the same man who invented The Avengers. He must have some kind of agenda. Perhaps he sees a way for the world to one do accept Inhumans and Mutants by setting the example.

"Sooo.. obviously I know how to fight along side May just fine. But all these other people? combining our abilities in to something useful? yeah, good luck with that. Not to mention my Inhuman ability is hardly useful in a fight." Not quite so true given how she used it at Park Ave.

"Come to give me Secret Warrior Orders then have you? You are the team leader on this after all. Neither May nor I will second guess you when you make a decision.. though we're always there to lend an opinion if you want one."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
A faint smile comes to her lips at the explanation about Coulson, her eyes trailing out to the window again, distant, as if she was looking into some past, or the future, "Phil really .., isn't take it easy the loss of the hand." she admits. Is there something more? "All that happened recently, it's taking a toll on him." she states, tone laced with her worry. Eyes trail a quinjet taking off before eventually she looks back, walking to the table Bobbi is sitting at.

"Is Fury ever not serious?" She then asks back, a brow quirked. "I believe it makes sense at this stage, we are on a breakthrough, there's been more mutants, and Inhumans, than ever before. Even my Mother isn't fully certain on what is going on." her lips pressing together, "Does it mean they are needed? That *we* are needed?" her arms open to the sides. "It's answers I want to find with this group."

She sits down on a chair across from Bobbi then grinning, "Oh, team leader mmm? Well, first order, I may need your office for ..., things." a wink before dismissing the joke with a hand, "But now more seriously, I do have one. And that would be to not underestimate your powers. They are *all* useful, and part of something bigger. Of being an Inhuman. Of being our people. And no more hiding behind the theory that you were not a real Inhuman. It has been proven that it is." yes, Daisy does seem quite the idealistic where it comes to Inhumans!

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi raises an eyebrow and lifts up a hand, bringing her index finger and thumb together slowly, "Daisy. This is your first real command.. and I really think you should tone it down just a little bit. You don't need everyone to buy in to your beliefs for them to be value add to the group. The stronger you expression your views, the less comfortable someone will feel about expression their own.. and you will miss out on an opportunity to learn about your agents."

She nods to Daisy hoping she understands what it is she just told her. If not, she'll just have to learn the hard way - which is often the Daisy way of doing things. "Now, how are you going to do mission selection? Besides trying to figure out why there's so many of us - how are you going to stay ahead of crimes by and against Inhumans?"

She steeples her fingertips under her chin. Commander asking the hard questions even as she thinks about the rough time Phil is having. She makes a mental note to send him comfort cookies.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Eyes squint at Bobbi. Oh she knows what she is doing. Diverting attention! And sure, even if she *is* right it doesn't mean that there isn't something more underneath it. Daisy smiles faintly. "Yes, second time I have done it to you, isn't it?" an apologetic tone to her voice. But then she shakes her head. "Still, this wasn't about command, but about *you*. I know you powered me up during our fight. And it's something we should explore, to understand better what you can actually do. And yes, I am hoping we can go to Afterlife..." does she mean the whole team? ".. and train. I already promised Jessica I would bring her there."

The question done after makes her smile. It seems to be something she has been looking into already. "SHIELD already provides most of the infrastructure, be it with informants, other Agents or even our surveillance hardware. But I have been creating a specific network that can be used by us, Inhumans, or mutants, to inform upon these events. Of course that there are a lot of things yet to do with it but ..., it's starting.." a grin, "Of course that I will also accept suggestions. You have the experience."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi smiles a touch mysteriously and raises an eyebrow, "Mhm. About me is it. Well if you'd like to know - while out at old Afterlife I found a bit of terrigen. Crushed it - nothing happened. So yes, I'm completely sure that I am one hundred percent Inhuman. You don't need to quiz me on it every time we talk."

"As for your plan - you've got it right I. Use the resources at your disposal. What use it spying on every one all the time if we can't use it to save lives right?" Not words the US Congress would ever like to hear.

"Just remember.. the word Secret in Secret Avengers isn't just a fancy title. Not with Talbot sniffing around at absolutely everything. He came in my office yesterday demanding to know what I'm working on. I told him I'm not at liberty to divulge the nature of my operations. He didn't like that. I think his moustache almost blew off."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Pointing an accusing finger at Bobbi Daisy then lets out an hmph. "I knew it! And here you were trying to divert attention like that!" there. Lesson fully forgotten. "Trying to pin this on me when it's you holding out on me." shame! She shakes her head a touch. But at least she doesn't waggle a finger at Bobbi in a 'I told you so' manner. She leaves that to the old people.

"And right, that's what I felt too." About using SHIELD resources. "No need to re-invent the wheel. We already had enough trouble with SHIELD's return, and now having to rebuild our trust bases once again, old communications with our people around the globe and more so ..." she lifts her shoulders. There is a pause before she finally adds, "My Mother doesn't know yet..." oh, that would be a *talk*. But all in due time.

But at least talking about Talbot brings a big grin to Daisy's expression. Is she picturing that mustache taking off with a will of it's own? Yes. It's the little things that keep people happy after all. The little things.

But when she speaks she is serious. A nod. "And indeed, I know it isn't. My face is really well known out there though so .., not sure I can keep *myself* secret though."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi smirks a moment and says, "You want to know what May and I spoke about out there? Survival, how screwed up the Framework was, my marriage to Lance, what she wants to do in the future. You know, the usual kind of spy girl talk." She chuckles. Exactly what was said will not be shared.

"And yeah. You're a big damn hero now. You deserve all that attention. You're the genuine article. Also a spy.. so there's that too. Mockingbird is barely known. I think there's one page dedicated to 'sightings of the mockingbird'." She smirks at that - it's a real page.

"And I'm perfectly happy with it that way - but I do want to get out there and do more with my skill set and that suit. I just don't intend to go public with who the Mockingbird is any time soon.. oh no, definitely not. It was weird enough when Nadia turned up and knew everything about me. I don't need joe shmoe on the street knowing too."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Damn it.." Daisy then finally says with a soft chuckle. "I forgot to record this conversation so I'd have proof that Bobbi Morse and Melinda May do engage in girl talk and that it's not all a myth." is she teasing? Oh yes. "But honestly? I am glad you two got to settle things out there." a moment of pause and she looking down at the table. "I suppose Afterlife continues to help us, even after it's been destroyed."

Poker face follows up at the mention of a certain webpage about a certain Mockingbird. Too bad no one is a good as hacker as her to trace down *who* is one of the responsible ones for a few of those sightings. MockingFangirl#1 will forever be a mystery.

"Maybe it's time to get the hero suit out of the closet. Literally. I do have one, courtesy of a certain Daring Devil. I might just need a *new* codename." a small grin. How many codenames does she need?!

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi smirks, "Don't mess with the branding. I know you didn't pick Quake, but it's out there now in a big way. It's even on t-shirts." She chuckles and says, "Okay. I need to get back to work. Big investigation starting up and I may need your spy hat on for parts of it. But for now.. dismissed."
