The Princess of The New Orleans Assassins' Guild, daughter of Marius Boudreaux, Bella Donna had everything handed to her, and she was going to throw it all away for a young man, Remy LeBeau. In the end, he threw her away, and in the process created the most ruthless member of the Assassins' Guild.

Timeline

Timeline:
* 2000: Bella Donna (nicknamed Belle) is born to the powerful Boudreaux family of New Orleans. Less publicly known is the fact that the head of the family Marius Boudreaux is also the patriarch and leader of the infamous Assassins Guild, rivals of the Thieves Guild, the two main underworld powers of New Orleans.

* 2002: As can be expected by a daughter of Marius, Bella Donna was started on her assassin's education of killing and fighting as soon as she could walk. It was up to her or her brother Julien to inherit the leadership of the Assassins Guild one day, and much was invested in the two.

* 2009: Bratty and sharp, Bella Donna makes it a habit to escape her tutors and go on her own adventures about the city. That's how she runs into Le Diable Blanc, with Remy LeBeau becoming her best childhood friend, the two causing a world of trouble all over the city.

* 2014: As Belle and Remy grew older, innocent childhood friendship made way to more affectionate views of one another, and much to the dismay of Marius, Bella Donna became entirely focused on spending time with Remy.

* 2016: Marius reached to the patriarch of the Thieves Guild, Jean-Luc LeBeau, and the two decided to unify the guilds through the marriage of their children, Bella Donna and Remy. What followed has many versions depending on who you ask, but Bella Donna's version is that her brother Julien, full of disdain for the Thieves Guild, couldn't fathom his sister marrying one...so he challenged Remy to a duel to the death on their wedding day. Remy won, thanks to his powers, and killed Julien. Marius considered that cheating, and the Assassins Guild demanded the execution of Remy. Belle pleaded with her father to allow her husband to go on exile instead.

* 2017: Bella Donna had imagined life on the run, just her and Remy, away from the guilds...but to her dismay, Remy was done with the Guilds and was done with New Orleans. He abandoned her, his wife, and left on his own. Shattered, she spent the year wallowing in her agony. Marius, who was left with one option for a successor following the death of Julien, pressured Bella Donna to harnass the pain, to never allow anyone to betray her again.

* 2018: Marius' full year of manipulation works to tremendous success, as Belle emerged from her lamentation. She claimed to be over Remy and his betrayal, and proceeded to go on a killing spree of anyone that even suggested she was weak and manipulated by a thief. By the end of the year everyone in the Assassins Guild recognize she is Marius' heir apparent, and she was promoted to prominent role, dubbed the Princess of The Assassins Guild.

* 2020: Belle leaves New Orleans for NYC, for diplomatic matters with the Hellfire Club, which is pure coincident to her learning of a Remy LeBeau sighting in the area...

Personality

Alert:
As one might expect of someone in her position, Bella Donna is very good at reading people. At reading body language. At reading between the lines. She can pierce through lies better than most, and is quick to punish attempts of deception. As a result of her alertness, she has often evaded attempts to spring a trap on her, not getting into situations in the first place, to avoid having to rely on her skills to get out of them.

Epicurean:
Bella Donna was born to an affluent family, strongly positioned in one of the most powerful organization in New Orleans, and has been offered every luxury life has to offer. As a result she developed a taste for the finer things in life, be it food, drink, clothes, or what have you. You might call her spoiled, but you'd be putting yourself at risk to do so.

Intimidating:
Having essentially served as her father's second in command in the hierarchy of the Assassins Guild of New Orleans, Belle has become quite the fearsome woman, able to use her voice and gestures to convince others of untold pain she could inflict on them if she so wished. She likely could deliver, but has become a master in exuding such a believable fearsome presence, that it's usually unnecessary.

Ruthless:
There's a certain expectation from a daughter of the leader of an assassins guilds, and that's the ability to fulfill contracts. That entails killing without prejudice, no matter who suffers, no matter the damage. Belle is capable of killing, hurting, and worse without flinching. If someone wants to reach her, pulling on her heart strings isn't the way. She will not be swayed by moral dillemas.

Suspicious:
Belle has been hurt one too many times in her young life, to the point where she finds it extremely difficult to trust people. She will be very hard pressed to take someone at their word, and will likely always seek contingency plans, and ascertaining the truth on her own. It makes her difficult to negotiate with, but also helps her be a better person of authority in the Assassins Guild leadership, as she's less prone to make mistakes.

Vain:
Princess of The Assassins Guild, daughter of Marius Boudreaux, and the woman who defied all expectations and wound up as the heir apparent to her father, Bella Donna is quite proud of her achievements. Of her status. Of her authority in the Assassins Guild. Appealing to her pride is likely the safesty approach when dealing with her. Injuring that pride, might lead to lethal consequences.

Powers

Astral Projection:
This power suggests that under the right mentor, Belle may prove to have telepathic abilities, but as it stands, she currently is only able to perform an astral projection of herself to spy or communicate with people across great distances. She is also able to venture into the Astral Plane, where she is able to form objects and control the environment as telepaths do. But that is the extent of her abilities, as of now, she's unable to telepathically connect or affect people directly. This Astral Projection ability is how many targets and enemies of the Assassins Guild and Bella Donna in particular have been caught off guard, wondering how she was able to learn about things they thought safely guarded.

Plasma Blasts:
Bella Donna is able to generate plasma, whether in the form of igniting fiery energy about her arms, sending controlled blasts, or emitting continous plasma energy at a target. She can pulverize through enforced walls, destroy vehicles, and cause major damage. More often than not she avoids using her powers for Assasssins Guild jobs, because those normally require precision untraceable work. The plasma blasts leave quite a mark.

Skills

Blades:
Remy LeBeau once said of Bella Donna "she's quicker with a knife than I am with lockpicks" so it's a fair point to stress beyond her mastery of weapons in general, just how handy she is with bladed weapons. She's dextrous, swift, and precise. She's likely more deadly with bladed weapons than most people are with guns.

Horse Riding:
A typical rich people's sport, Bella Donna grew up with horses in her family's stables, and is well acustomed to riding at a skill level that surpasses most, not that she ever cared for sports pursuit.

Killing Tools:
If it's a weapon, you can bet Bella Donna knows how to use it to kill. If it's not a weapon, you can bet Bella Donna knows how to use it to kill. She's an assassin, and she's been brought up to inherit the Assassins Guild from her father, since she could walk. Expect her to be lethal with anything within her reach.

Languages:
A native of New Orleans, from a family of Acadian origins, Bella Donna is fluent in both French and English. She also has a distinct accent, that many would mistake for French. She also knows a bit of Japanese through interactions with the League of Assassins and The Hand, though admittedly those are few and far between, and mostly kept for simple conversations between allies.

Martial Arts:
You better believe the daughter of the head of the Assassins Guild knows how to fight. She is lethal, fast, and knows the most vulnerable areas on the human body. One does not wish to get in a fighting situation with Bella Donna. She doesn't fight for points, she fights to kill. Her style is specific to the New Orleans Assassins Guild, a closely guarded family secret.

Sleight of Hand:
While Belle isn't about to perform any magic shows anytime soon, one would be surprised at how skilled she is at sleight of hand. A skillset that allows her to cheat at cards when needed for this business affair or other (you'd be surprised how Assassins Guild discuss business), get out of cuffs if she ever wound up in a bad situation, or even stealthily reach for a blade hidden in her necklace to arm herself in a moment's notice. Sure, some true masters of the skill may read her quite well, but she has a distinct advantage over most people she interacts with.

Resources

Asassins Guild:
As the daughter of Marius Boudreaux, patriarch of the Assassins Guild, Belle has essentially been dubbed the Princess of The Assassins Guild. When one sets out to make an enemy of Bella Donna, they've made an enemy out of an entire guild of assassins. A lot of them with powers. Needless to say, those in the know, know better than to get in Bella Donna's way. It's a very nice leverage to have in all manner of underworld dealings.

Boudreaux Fortunes:
The Boudreaux is a powerful family in New Orleans, initially of Acadian origins, they are very old world and have been around for a long time. They've amassed land, money, and connections. That's before you take into account that the Assassins' Guild of New Orleans is essentially the kingdom they rule with an iron fist. In other words, Belle never wanted for nothing, and has a lot of resources she could call on.

Hellfire Club:
The secrets hidden within the organization aside, Hellfire Club more than anything is a status symbol, and the membership the Boudreaux family carries shows more than anything that they belond in the highest of society, and gives other aristocrats the sense that they can safely engage with a Boudreaux. True, there may be more malice in the Boudreaux than some, but you'd be surprised, many of those in the higher spheres are there on the deeds of their ancestors if not their own.

Weaknesses

Emotions:
After the pain of abandonment when she lost her husband, Belle had been a force with the Assassins' Guild. Pushing ever into more profits and more nefarious endeavors. She really doesn't have a care in the world who she hurts, and how she hurts them, so long as her guild keeps its prominence and infamy. Empathizing with others is something she really can't quite do, and sometimes it is a life skill that is needed. She has difficult with emotions and how to handle them properly. If someone were able to breach through that, or an empath were to force her to 'feel' it could really throw her for a loop.

Enemies:
The New Orleans Assassins' Guild is a tremendous source of power and status, needless to say, many seek to control it, or tear it apart to bring a new power to the fore. As a result, the Assassins' Guild, and it's leadership, the Boudreaux family, have many enemies. Whether it be from rival guilds like the Thieves Guild, competing groups of assassins, or even inter-guild power aspirants, there's a need to always look over one's shoulder, and be wary of traps and dangers.

Le Diable Blanc:
Bella Donna has promised the world she had moved on from Remy, and to prove it, dozens of people have met their death at her blade for claiming she was still infatuated and could not be trusted to ever lead the Assassins' Guild. But no matter how often and how loudly she'll speak of the zero fucks she has to give about Remy, he has never left her heart and remains the one festering wound that cannot heal. If anyone truly studied her and wanted to get to her, Remy LeBeau would be the key.

Shattered:
At one point, Belle didn't care to ever become the successor to her father. She never had aspirations to one day rule the Assassins' Guild. At one point all that was on her mind was to marry Remy LeBeau, and enjoy life together with the man of her dreams. When Remy abandoned her when he was exiled for killing her brother Julien, her world shattered. She had just married Remy, and her husband, wanted to leave her behind when cast out of New Orleans. Suddenly the world turned grey, and nothing mattered. That was the point she realized the Assassins' Guild is all she'll ever had. To cope with the pain of betrayal and abandonment, she through herself completely into the life her father envisioned for her. Growing more ruthless, more vicious, as mirth has been sapped away from her life. To this day she's very wary of romancing and sees it mostly as a tool to abuse others.
