Cassidy Park, aka Traffic, comes from a long line of lady spies, codebreakers, and special agents. While her predecessors have been heroes and patriots, Cassidy is disgusted with the world as it is now and is determined to address the decay that has set into government, law enforcement, financial institutions, the military, and society itself. She uses her metahuman ability to process vast volumes of information at superhuman speeds and efficiency in order to expose the corrupt, and take down those she sees as the root of all this evil. She may not be a hero, but she's not entirely a villain either -- even if she associates with both.

Timeline:
17 Apr 2005, Cassidy Park is born in Sandiego, California. Her parents have been speaking multiple languages around her even while she was a fetus in order to give her a head start on learning them.
2005 to 2007, Cassidy is learning to read, write, and speak at an astounding rate. She is bombarded with information daily, and has sleep-education lessons playing while she rests. She has had various other advanced development teaching methods put before her, typically disguised as games or toys. She can solve a Rubik's Cube in under a minute by age 2, and will be able to solve far more complex puzzles even faster as she grows up.
2008, Cassidy is in self-defense courses and exercise regimens, under her grandmother's watchful eye, ensuring she will have high flexibility of body and stamina when she is older.
2009 to 2014, Cassidy's social development is focused on alongside her other lessons. Acting ability is emphasized, allowing her to assume a variety of personas, accents, and postures. She can read and write twelve languages in addition to her native language, and can speak eight of them as fluently as a native speaker. She is put in and out of social circles with other children her age, keeping her from forming any lasting friendships. Her family moves around a lot during this time.
2020, Cassidy has spent most of her life living like a test subject to see how much information can be crammed into her head before she breaks. That's her view anyway. She has even been sent overseas to attend the same very exclusive, elite British school that her grandmother did. One of the teachers is especially strict and abusive towards Cassidy.
2021, Cassidy hits a breaking point in her studies where the pressure put upon her, far exceeding what the other students are expected to handle, causes her to snap. She has to withdraw from the school for her health, and moves back to the United States. Cassidy's grand mother doesn't talk to or see her anymore, and her parents are distant with and very clearly disappointed in her.
2022, Cassidy has learned that she has an increased proficiency in assembling complete overviews of information from discrete data sets, granting her an understanding of subject matter much more quickly and efficiently. She at first considers she may be losing her mind due to hearing voices and static at all times of day and night, but as her control improves she is able to 'tune' her mind like a radio to pick up specific frequencies or types of transmissions, and increse or decrease the 'volume'. Higher volume results in more clear information but also causes more mental strain. Lower volume provides less distinct impressions but can be maintained longer.
August 2022, Cassidy has used her power to locate and bring together several young villains who her analysis shows have a controlling interest in future events that may occur (via projecting based off current knowledge). She doesn't know if the extrapilations will actually occur, and her involvement may actually wind up preventing that from happening. However, she needs allies and agents who can get her the things she can't obtain on her own.
2023 to Present, Cassidy Park has been operating as the villainess 'Traffic' for a couple years now, trying to cram as much information as possible into her head, the same thing her family was trying to do and that wound up breaking her (and unlocking her metahuman power). Now, however, she is equipped to handle it, and intent on disrupting the hierarchy that previous generations have upheld at the cost of their young.

Personality

Self Control:
Cassidy Park has a lot of self control, allowing her to stick to a role or follow a plan even if her own feelings don't match what she's saying and doing. She isn't the type to lash out in anger, or to yell or argue with someone (unless her role requires such for the benefit of onlookers). If she strikes back, it is a calculated decision, often with quite a bit of planning behind it. She isn't so egotistical she needs her target to know she was behind it either. She knows, and that's good enough.

Visionary:
Cassidy Park isn't content with the status quo. She can see many different paths to varying futures, and some of those futures are even more terrifying than the present she lives in and hates. For the sake of those who live alongside her, and those who come after her, she is trying to manipulate events to avoid disaster and at least minimize the damage, if she can't actually fix any of it. She works with villains, but she sees herself as more of an anti-hero. She has a job to get done, and the lines that society draws between good and evil aren't helpful to her. The paradigm she works with is 'Viable' or 'Non-Viable'. Any potential future that is Non-Viable must be avoided at all costs, because it will just spiral out of control from there. Lives depend on her decisions. That is a burden she takes very seriously.

Powers

Thinker:
Traffic can intercept radio and electrical signals transmitted over the air, translate them in her mind into images and sounds she can comprehend, collate them into data, and then convey that data in a useful manner to others or to use for herself. The closer she is to the source of the transmission the more she can get out of it, and she can also raise or lower her mental 'buffers' that keep her from enduring burn-out or physical injury.

Encryption takes time to break, and may require researching, crunching numbers, or analyzing patterns of information to get insight into what it says. She can break most codes eventually, but the more complex it is the harder it's going to be, the same as for other codebreakers. She just has the advantage of mental processing power the equal of an entire intel division.

Skills

Athletics:
Cassidy has professional-level ability in acrobatics and gymnastics, running, swimming, weight lifting, throwing projectiles, archery, target shooting (firearms), skiing, and climbing. She's not Olympics-level, but she is the equal of anyone who does these things professionaly, including soldiers, trainers, or pro-athletes.

Cryptography:
Cassidy is familiar with most encryption methods, ciphers, and types of coded communications around the world. This is from a historical and academic perspective, rather than nowing specific diplomatic codes or being able to break military transmissions. However, it serves as a base for learning and breaking such codes and encryption as she encounters them 'in the field'.

Driving and Piloting:
Cassidy can drive most forms of commercial vehicles (no tanks or APCs), as well as pilot many commercial aircraft (no fighter jets or attack helicopters) with the skill of a professional race car driver. She is capable of stunt driving, high-speed maneuvering, and driving in adverse conditions and/or difficult terrain.

Martial Arts:
Cassidy has some training in a dozen martial arts, including military hand-to-hand, which borrows from many of them in order to produce a practical self-defense form that doesn't rely on stances or telegraphed movements. She is also able to wield swords, knives, spears, poles, staves, clubs, and stick weapons.

Polyglot:
Cassidy can speak most Earth languages in use around the world, and can read and write about seventy percent of them. She learns languages quickly, and may even learn extraterrestrial languages faster than normal humans.

Polymath:
Cassidy has an extensive education in a very wide variety of subjects and academic pursuits, giving her at least a starting point to work from when a given issue or topic comes up. She isn't an 'expert in everything', but she has a working knowledge of many things, beyond that of a layman's understanding.

Resources

Contacts:
Cassidy Park has cultivated many contacts in various countries and professional fields, most of them in very basic private or commercial positions that have nothing to do with confidential, government, or military intel. She can use these contacts to derive outcomes, trace communications, and infer activity indirectly by recognizing patterns and assembling what they lead to without ever seeing the thing she's examining. Nothing is suspicious about her contacts or activities, keeping her off the radar of law enforcement and governmental agencies.

Weaknesses

Burn-Out:
If Cassidy pushes her ability too hard or sustains it for too long then she may get shut down for a few days, with awful migraines that keep her from using her power or dealing with really anything other than sitting in the dark until the pain stops. If she isn't careful, this burn-out can occur at an extremely inopportune time, or at a critical moment when her allies are relying on her.

Savior Complex:
Cassidy Park had the hopes of her family and their legacy put upon her from an early age. While she had her lapse that destroyed that hope, she has now evolved far past any expectations they may have had. From Cassidy's point of view, she is able to save others from themselves with her insight into what's going on in the world, and what it might be leading to. She sees herself as a savior, or at least a rebel, whether she's involved with villains or super heroes, criminals or law enforcement, and so on. Her past failure is something she can't let go of, so she tries to prove, at least to herself, that she isn't the same girl who failed. Set-backs, mistakes, and out-and-out failures hit her much harder as a result.
