A normal, unremarkable college student. She's also a mutant who was kidnapped and turned into a cybernetically remote controlled assassin, losing most of her personal memories in the process of having mind-control machines forcibly implanted into her brain meat. But let's accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative, huh?

Timeline

Timeline:
* 2005: Dominique is born.
* 2018: Dominique's mutant abilities manifest. Her family is mortified and only forego disowning her because their status as public figures, leaders of industry, and descendants of Alberia's last monarch would make a public scandal of it.
* 2020: Dominique is kidnapped by Cyberdata, a corporation looking to turn mutants into programmable supersoldiers. Her parents hush it as best they can.
* 2020: Dominique's memory is largely erased. She begins a career as a wetwork automaton, while undercover (even to herself) as a foreign student studying abroad in America.
* 2022: Dominique is freed from control by her handler, who has fallen in love with her. Most of her memory prior to her abduction has been physically destroyed and cannot be recovered. She tries to atone for the memories she does contain by working as a superhero: she figures hey, she's already got a costume, why not?
* 2023: Dominique enrolls in university, majoring in computer sciences.

Personality

Aristocratic:
Three generations removed from the end of the monarchy isn't quite long enough to erase instilled habits of nobility, or to stop the third generation from instilling them in the fourth. Dominique carries herself with seemingly inherent poise and composure.

Superficial:
Having lost most of her memories, Dominique feels an insecurity she'd never admit about her disconnection from the human experience. She keeps things shallow to hide what was taken from her.

Willful:
Though most of her childhood is lost to her, Dominique was spoiled as a child, then outraged by her family's rejection of her when her powers came out. She developed a fierce stubbornness, which her period as an automaton deepened to ruthlessness.

Energy Constructs:
Dominique can manifest some kind of electronagnetic energy from her hands, often as 'blades'. It can generate immense amounts of heat, wattage, and/or kinetic force she can use to enhance her physical abilities like when jumping or striking. She can control the shape of these manifestations, though that is superficial. The energy dissipates very rapidly as it gets further from her, dissipating entirely at a dozen yards or so.

Acrobatics:
Dominique is a trained acrobat. Probably nothing special by superhero standards, but you'd like to see civilians make the jumps she does.

Close Combat:
Dominique is exceedingly dangerous in unarmed combat, swordplay, and thrown weapons.

Computers:
Dominique has been studying coding and computer engineering since going to university. She's nowhere close to, say, a Tony Stark, but knows enough to know how much she doesn't yet know.

Military Vehicles:
Dominique has been trained in the operation and field repair of many military vehicle, including helicopters and light aircraft. She has no skill with watercraft: you don't deploy metal-clad cyborgs over water unless you're willing to drown them.

Multilingual:
Dominique is fluent in French, English, and Russian.

Cybernetic Armor:
Cyblade was fitted with lightweight cybernetic armor that protects her from the effects of her own powers, and is fairly useful in hand to hand combat.

Blatant:
Cyblade's energy is bright pink. Her power really can't be used subtly.

Brain Box:
Cyblade was initially controlled by a ridiculously complex cybernetic device in her brain. That device has since been deactivated and a new one installed to override it, but the fact that it's in there is a problem. Plus it sets off magnetometers.

Enemies List:
Cyberdata, the company that kidnapped Dominique and made her a child soldier, wants her back. The survivors of her victims have less than kind intentions toward her too.
