Giselle is a mildly exotic, slightly distracted Professor of Science at Gotham U. She spends most of her time in her secret lab, dedicated to curing one of the genes linked to some forms of Lycanthropy. Foolishly, she's used herself as her own test subject, which may lead to some unexpected results. For the time being her lycanthropy gene is latent and doesn't cause her to transform.

* 1991: Born in La Rochelle, France to parents Annette and Hugo.
* 1999: Started to learn the Violin
* 2002: Father explained family's history and 'the curse.'
* 2004: A normal puberty and no signs of having inherited 'the curse.'* 2000: Enrolled at La Rochelle University.* 2007: Transferred to Harvard.
* 2014: Graduated with a Ph. D. in Genetics and a Masters in Education.
* 2014: Interned with various genetics labs and worked as a part-time teacher at a local community college.
* 2016: Began her private study of her family's genetics.
* 2018: Discovered gene linked to some forms of lycanthropy.
* 2019: Began developing a serum to isolate the gene
* 2021: Started teaching at Gotham University.

Easy-Going:
After observing, listening, and learning Giselle's manner is quite pleasant. She's slow to anger and quick to laugh under most circumstances.

Persistant:
Giselle will not give up on a task once set upon it. Despite the challenges and sacrifices required, she will continue. She just doesn't know the meaning of the word 'quit.'

Reserved:
While she isn't soft-spoken, she will withhold comment before she is sure of a situation. She would rather observe at first, before engaging in a situation.

Latent Lycanthropy Gene:
Due to her family's bloodline, Giselle possesses a latent gene for lycanthropy. The effects are not currently active however, some of her research may reactivate some of the traits, unintentionally. This could include heightened senses to full-on transformation.

Transformation:
A full reactivation of Giselle's lycanthropy gene would result in her developing the ability to transform. This presents in a variety of possible ways.
* Werewolf: A complete transformation into a large, monstrous creature that is half-human, half-wolf. While it is possible to develop sentient control of the creature, at the initial transformation it is a purely instinctual creature, driven by blood lust. It has enormous strength, durability, and heightened senses. While it has a lethal reaction to silver, it is otherwise very difficult to kill.
* Wolf: Another possible form is that of a full wolf. This too is an instinctual creature though it is easier to develop sentient control of it. However, it would never be able to speak. The wolf would be quick, dexterous, and have heightened senses. It, however, would be much easier to destroy.
* Deformities: There is also the chance of malformed, partial transformations. Something that isn't quite human, but not quite anything else.

Genius:
While she can't compete with some renowned super-geniuses, she is still extremely smart. She tries not to be arrogant about her intelligence or education, though.

Knack For Science:
She just gets it. The study of maths and science comes easily to Giselle. Not just the learning of it but also the application.

Languages:
Gisselle speaks several languages including French, French Creole, English, Mandarin, and Latin.

Violinist:
With over 20 years of study and practice, Guselle is an accomplished violinist. Her style is a bit more technique-oriented than emotive, but she is still very good.

A Wealth of Knowledge:
Having studied many diverse subjects, Giselle has a lot of information stored away in her brain. Always remembering the correct information at the right time, is something else altogether.

Secret Lab:
Giselle has had a secret lab built into the basement of her Gotham home. While it's not extensive, it's enough to perform her private studies and experiments.

Absent Minded Professor:
While she isn't absentminded to the point of caricature, she can be a tad forgetful and disorganized with her lesson plans.

Human Frailty:
Giselle is a plain human, for the most part, and suffers the weaknesses of mortality. So whatever hurts or kills a human, will harm and kill her.

Silver Alergy:
At present the allergy is just a mild annoyance, preventing her from wearing silver earrings. However, as her experiments with the lycanthropy gene progress that allergy will get more pronounced.
