Howard Stark Jr. was the second in the line of the Stark Shipping Corporation. A gifted mechanical engineer, he would team up with Nikolai Tesla and develop a wide array of technologies that would impact the world for a century to come. His son, Tony Stark, would become the CEO of Stark Technologies and the superhero known as Iron Man.

Howard Stark and his wife were murdered by the Black Widow on December 16, 1995, in a vehicular assault on their car.
