Leonard Sibelius is the head of Tony Stark's legal team for Stark Industries, and there are two very good reasons for it. One. He's a top-flight lawyer. Two. He will do anything short of breaking the law for his client, and he has bent a few rules almost to the breaking point...almost...to win a case. He is fiercely loyal to Stark industries in general and Tony in particular.
Timeline

Timeline:
* 1985: Born in Topeka, Kansas to family of doctors.
* 1998: Arrested for shoplifting, first offense. First brush with the law. Develops fascination with the process.
* 2004:Goes to Harvard on scholarship, pursues law degree. Family unhappy with choice of profession.
* 2011: Leonard graduates summa cum laude, goes to Los Angeles as a defense attorney.
* 2013: Earns the nickname "Shark" as a cutthroat high-priced defense lawyer with a success rate of 94 percent.
* 2016: Suffers nervous breakdown when client found not guilty of spousal abuse beats his wife to death three weeks after the verdict and boasts that Sibelius will get him acquitted. Moves to New York City, is hired by Stark Industries.
* 2018: Sibelius becomes primary counsel, head of SI Legal Department.

Caustic:
There is a long list of duties for Sibelius, but "SUFFER FOOLS GLADLY" is nowhere on it. He has no patience for incompetence, looks down at mediocrity, and any member of his legal team doing anything less than their best earns his acidic ire.
Generous:
Sibelius always overtips, gives great reviews of places he truly likes, and rewards those working for him who display ingenuity, excellence, and innovation. He may never forgive an insult, but he also never forgets a favor.
Ruthless:
When Leonard is going after an opponent, the law is the only thing that keeps him from doing ANYTHING he can do to protect his client...and he even finds a few ways to circumvent that, as well. He will do what it takes to protect Tony Stark, his company, and the employees of SI.

Lenny leaves nothing to chance. He is a big fan of research, of using technology to improve his craft, and keeps data on every opponent he expects to face.
Lawyer:
It is what he feels he was born to do. Leonard is a dedicated and driven defense lawyer who knows the legal system inside and out.

Leonard made a lot of money as a defense lawyer in LA, and he built upon that working for Stark. He could retire comfortably on some island for the rest of his life...but where's the fun in that?

Guilt:
Although he would verbally vivisect anyone who suggested he was human, he feels great guilt for those he could not protect legally, particularly Donna Everett, the woman whose husband he kept out of jail. He feels her death is his fault for not realizing how much of a maniac his client was.
Pride:
Most of the time he is secure in his superiority in the legal profession, and he's not about to let anyone forget it.
