A Cali Girl through and through, Lorena Marquez was your usual teenage girl through much of her high school life. That is until a fateful day when she was kidnapped. She was tested on and physically altered using the DNA of a hero. The result was her developing aquatic powers comparable to an Atlantean. Now she is a hero in her own right, working under the name Aquagirl!

Timeline:
* 2006: Born in San Diego, California
* 2011: Lorena starts Kindergarten
* 2020: Lorena starts High School, Shows herself to really enjoy Science, Reading, and public speaking.
* 2022: Lorena is kidnapped in April, tested on by an unknown Entity. Her physiology is altered. She is found and returned to her family in October. In November she started taking self defense classes.
* 2023: Lorena's family decides to move for a fresh start. Moves to New York City, NY.
* 2024: Lorena makes plans to attend College after graduation. Applies to a number of colleges.

Adventurous:
Lorena is the type to seek out adventure. She loves exploring new things, trying things out and having fun while doing it. She enjoys getting out and discovering new things.

Bold:
Lorena is a very bold person. She is not without fear but she knows when there is something more important and will take step up to a challenge. She is the type of person to see others in danger and put herself between the danger and them.

Perceptive:
Lorena is very perceptive. She is the type to pick up on things be they context clues or observations. SHe is very much Discerning able to pick up on lies and truths told to her. She is very good when it comes to detective work.

Lorena has both lungs and gills. This allows her to breathe freely both in and out of the water.

Enhanced Speed:
While on land, She is able to move at peak human speed. In the water she is far faster, capable of moving up to a hundred miles per hour.

High Durability:
Lorena's body has become highly durable, capable of withstanding the ocean depths as well as the extreme cold of the deep ocean.

Super Strength:
Her enhanced durability has increased her physical strength. She can lift about 3 Tons or about the weight of an automobile.

Lorena is a pretty good cook. Her parents taught her from a young age and she carries on the tradition of cooking.

After her kidnapping, Lorena had a few self defense classes. She is not proficient in any martial arts at this time. She simply knows how to defend herself in an emergency.
