Mutant Underground

The Mutant Underground is an informal network of informants, operatives, black-market dealers, smugglers, traffickers, and other ne'er-do-wells who serve as eyes and ears in the mutant community. The questionable legality of metahuman powers, combined with some unique personal or medical needs, and the high demand for specialized skills, creates a complex economy.

It is a convenient means for rumors and intelligence that are difficult to obtain otherwise. Mutants tend to be secretive and clannish. With the right amount of influence (or enough cash), it's possible to gather information otherwise difficult to access or collate.
