Following her surprise visitor's departure, Harper makes a light night run to her favorite electronic store before it closed for the night. Before going home she uses the bug detector she picked up to find the tracker Huntress had left on her jacket: this is crushed beneath her heel before she returns to her apartment.
At her apartment, Harper finds the bugs that the Huntress and her young protege left. These are submerged in the toilet and then flushed so that they have both been exposed to water and then sent away from the apartment. "No spying on me," was the last thing they picked up before being discarded.
Following this she gets to work. For her first step she pulls up maps of the city electrical grid and decides on six specific locations outside the Narrows that define lines that cross at her home. Her second step is to download an audio file from the Internet, a short two second clip from an American casual dining restaurant chain which are put on cheap, small capacity micro SD cards. Next these cards are attached to devices similar to the one she found at the Sheldon Park Generating Station on August 26th with Red Robin.
The next morning, getting to work early, Harper takes an hour to install the first pair. These pair have red casings and within a few hours of her installing them they've set up a specific resonance in the wiring they're attached to
"One line defined, cutie. Let's see if you can figure out the message," Harper mutters to herself as she heads back to work.
