Ree is a devil from actual Hell. She isn't powerful like the other devils; she mostly builds things. She was a worker, she's still a worker. But the pay is better here.

Timeline

Timeline:
* 1981: Born to Amelie Katje, father absent from her life.
* 1992: at eleven, showed interest in very little. Goth, introverted.
* 2002: Joined US Army as a mechanic.
* 2004: Appears to have died, but was actually collected by demons during a horrible battle. Found herself in Hell, as a fallen soul. Spent the next decade being tortured.
* 2014: Stole memories of physics from fellow fallen. Promoted to Imp, relieved from constant torture and given work to do!
* 2021: Rescued from Hell. Left on earth to find her way.

Personality

Devious:
Ree is one hell of a liar. She loves a good plan, and adores when it comes together. But at the same time she's often impulsive. Because once in a while, unpredictable is a plan too.

Morals:
Hey, it's a demon. It's used to being demonic, which means that morality is a bit hazy at best. Realistically Ree knows what morals are expected, but generally has little reason to consider virtues to be better than vices. Also, significantly less entertaining.

Protective:
If there's one rule that demons live by, it's to protect what's yours. The word MINE has implications that matter, and once Ree has laid claim to a person or place or thing, she'll be deviously violent to keep it.

Trained:
Being a very low level demon, Ree can probably lose to most people she's met. She doesn't particularly want to get killed and pain hurts, so she's pretty concerned with not getting into a situation where she'll get the tar beaten out of her.

Assemble:
With Ree's internal store of energy, she is able to call matter into being. The simpler it is, the easier it is to make. Complex molecules are basically impossible, but she could conceivably create a weapon or a small glass horsie out of her own internal stores. She is limited by her amount of storeage, which is still small. She could make around 30 lbs of the simplest object, or much less of something valuable.

Builder:
Ree's primary power is the ability to bind matter together. She can't stick a cow to another cow, even though she'd love to, but she could mesh simple nonliving particles to other simple nonliving particles. The harder the object is to break, the harder it is to alter. What she's doing is applying magic to the very edge of the objects and making them grow together. This allows her to throw together slapdash creations faster than anyone

Disassemble:
Ree can also act as a solvent, separating matter from other matter. She can make screws strip their threads, or clothing separate at its seams. With a bit more effort she can separate matter at places that aren't joins, but that takes a great deal of her energy storage to accomplish. Harder materials are harder to affect, but seams are always weak compared to the main areas.

Heal:
Build can be used to close an open wound on another person. No regrowing organs, not at this stage of her development. She can't bring back the dead, it's basically like adding crazy glue to a wound and praying. If she has time she can maybe coax the flesh to knit. No guarantees though.

Horny:
Ree's horns are weird even for demons. They just change randomly depending on her mood. If she's upset, they'll likely arch backwards. If she's feeling hurt they might be rolled up like ram's horns. if she's aggressive, all spikey and forward! Which is funky because she doesn't seem aware of it. They're just horns.

Reattach:
This is something Ree can only do to herself. She can reattach her own severed limbs, if she can find them. This is basically her having intimate access to her own body, her own energy, and the ability to 'assemble' being used at its deepest and hardest level. She needs time, energy, and patience. But she can pull it off. Closing her own wounds is child's play compared to that kind of feat.

Tail:
Yes, Ree has a prehensile tail. It's a tail. Get over it.

Skills

Build:
Ree has spent most of her time as an Imp doing random builds for the Fiends and higher. She mostly slaps things together instead of doing quality work, but she definitely gets stuff done when she puts her mind to it. Don't expect pretty, but definitely do expect functional. Most of Ree's work has been in the order of construction, but she's also built some vehicles and sometimes even tools.

Dirty Fighter:
Ree aims for the kneecaps. She bites, she kicks, she sticks her thumbs into open wounds. She stabs in vital locations. She absolutely does not, repeat NOT, fight fairly. Not even when it would make sense. Seriously, you'd have to be an idiot.

Evasion:
Wisps learn to duck and duck fast. When promoted from Wisp to Imp you're still weak, and Ree has gotten really good at ducking for cover, blaming others for things, and directing impending doom elsewhere.

Heat:
Nothing major, but Ree has learned to handle a little heat. She can put up with a lot more than normal people. This doesn't protect her from heat damage at all, but she's good with the stuff.

Hellknowledge:
Ree has spent about twenty years in Brimstone, a section of Hell. Possibly more, but she knows the place well enough to write a brochure or guidebook on it. It would consist of 'just don't' mostly, but she could totally write it! Ree is able to describe social structures, locations, and most and least likely ways to get yourself killed. More complicated procedures would take promotion to Fiend and a bit more intel.

Physics:
Ree has a decent understanding of molecular structures and elements. She had to learn in order to be able to manipulate them, which is how she got promoted in the first place. Most of it she got out of the brain of a scientist she was stuck with for a few years, but it's the thought that counts, right?

Torture:
While Ree isn't really into it herself, she's seen some of the grandmasters perform torture on others. She knows how and has a strong stomach.

Tough:
One of the skills you learn fast in hell is how to handle pain. Ree can put up with a lot of it. Also humiliation and torture. Ree is hard to frighten, can take a licking and keep on ticking, and is so used to pain she might as well not have receptors. I mean, it still sucks, but meh. She's more resistant to being pounded on than humans have a right to be, and even though she's not enhanced she still doesn't go down easy.

Cred:
It's hard to be tough. Unless you're used to actual demons, then the thugs on the street seem kind of tame and a bit like toddlers looking for a bottle. Ree instantly had street cred, and she never lacks for a place to crash.

Pendant:
While Ree has very little of her own, she does have a pendant. She isn't sure how she got it, she's not even sure how it got around her neck, but it's always been there. It sometimes looks like a choker. It's sometimes a necklace. But, like her horns, it's always there. The demons never seemed to notice it. It might be a clue to her past?

Demonic:
Clearly demonic, Ree is a devil. She has no illusion spells to cast, and has freaking horns. Red skin. A tail. Demons and devils have a reputation.

Energy Stores:
Ree's energy stores are limited. She has to do all the things people normaly do in order to recharge them, such as eating and resting. It's possible that she might have other ways to charge up, or to grow her storage, but that all takes time and practice. Like any muscle, you gotta work it out.

Gnomish:
Ree's builds tend to be slapped together. She finds whatever's available, sticks it on other stuff, and uses the least possible energy to make the essential bits. This means that the structure will function, but it's probably the most Millenium Falcon looking piece of crap you ever did see, and likely has holes where you'd expect a floor to exist. It might kill you. It'll work though.

Holiness:
Holy sites and holy items are an issue. Ree is an agent of Hell, and she burns when she touches holy items blessed by true believers. There are restrictions to this. The person doing the blessing must have the backing of their church (pope, cardinal, SOMETHING), and must really believe in their faith. Weakness of faith weakens the item.

Blessed locations are not painful to enter, but she can not act while on them. She can't steal, she can't hurt anyone. Basically she can't sin, by the terms of whatever god claims that location. Sometimes you just need to know the rules though. Not all gods are equal.

Imp:
Ree is an imp. The ranks in Hell start at Wisp (fallen soul), Imp (servant), Fiend (torturer), and then into the Lords. She has rank, but overall any demon who talks to her will know her rank at a glance. There is a pecking order and she's near the bottom.

New:
Ree has only just arrived in Earthrealm. She has some memories of when she was a living soul, but it's vague and inconsistent. She has no family nor fiends. I mean friends.

Other Demons:
Hell doesn't want her to be free and unhindered. They may come looking for Ree, and it's pretty likely they'll send someone at Fiend level. Which is, as noted, higher than her current power levels.

Strength:
Ree has the normal strength and agility of a person of her apparent age who works out regularly.

Touchy:
All of Ree's binding or separating (glue and solvent) powers are touch-based. She's got to be touching the things involved in order to affect them. No ranged attacks here.
