Takamagahara, also called 'Ama', is the demesne of the gods of Shinto, known as the Kami. The palace at the center of Takamagahara is the permanent residence of Ameratasu and the other Kami; it is known as Ameratasu's Imperial Court. Like the other demesnes around the Demiurge, it has a place in the branches of Yggdrasil.
