Cliff watches as everyone fades, one by one until he is remaining with the Captain. The Captain seems dubious and looks around, "How exactly am I being paid again?" The alteration of the dream is spurious since the unsails are still furled, the Sizzlemast is still fizzled, and the quillments are quite roaring along moving the ship at a very steady pace, but the whole bit about the King part is....dubious.
Cliff chuckles, "These guys can make dream stuff out of thin air. I'll just hit them up for gold, or cheese tacos or whatever it is you need and we'll figure it out." He taps the brazier, "With this thing people are going to keep coming back whether they want to or not, and I doubt we have enough water for me to quench it every night. So, know any sea shanties?"
The captain beamed, "Do I? Let me sing you the tale of the Dragon Pirate...."
