When in Amsterdam
Date of Scene: 11 March 2022
Location: Over The Phone
Synopsis: The gauntlet is thrown down between Drago and Dazzler. Who will reign supreme?
Cast of Characters: Michael Hannigan, Alison Blaire

Michael Hannigan has posed:
It's been about an hour since the concert over at AFAS Live has finished. The house lights are on and the fans have mostly cleared out which leaves a little bit more waiting before the band can make their way back to the hotel.

Having cleaned the makeup off but hair still a mess, a tired Nick has a bit of a predicament. He is tired, but not to the point where simply taking a nap is a thing. However, it does not seem to be an issue for his bandmates.

Hmm.

Pulling out his tour issued phone, he checks the time, and after doing a bit of time zone calculation, nods to himself. With a few taps, he brings up a number and dials.

Alison Blaire has posed:
Alison glances at the vibrating phone on her desk, and quickly reaches for it before the vibrations make it tap dance its little self off the table and onto the floor. It's not like she needs the extra crack- admittedly, her very cracked screen probably doesn't have room for any more. Functionally, the cracked screen makes for a terrible touch-screen but an excellent game of tic-tac-toe. She keeps meaning to replace the phone, but things keep coming up- angel invasions, muggings, that sort of thing.

Glancing at the number, she smirks and accepts the call, answering in her most nasal voice:

"Domino's. Do you want a pizza?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Nick grins as he hears Alison's attempt to hide her voice in the response. Feeling the urge, he ends up returning the gesture.

"Hmm. Yesss..." Nick replies, drawing out the second word like an old money oil tycoon who just managed to out press that damned robber baron who sent his teatotaling ass a bottle of high end whiskey. "What is your delivery range like?"

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Gee, sir, I think you've got the wrong numbah!" Alison leans back on her chair, propping her feet on her desk, the score she had been looking at for revisions forgotten for the moment as she talks into the phone, channeling her best clueless teenager from every teen comedy movie ever, "This is a Domino's, if yer looking for deliveries, that's the maternity ward down at the hospital. Do ya want me to transfer ya?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Oh for shame. I'm afraid I don't have anything due over there." Nick responds back, still managing to keep the chosen voice he started with intact. "But I would not mind some pizza. Do you do advanced orders? I should be in your general area tomorrow for you to serve..."

Nick pauses, letting that line soak in before he switches the topic over, "Or perhaps I'll just serve you. At Rock Wallz. Ninja Course. Furthest the fastest. Loser buys pizza."

Alison Blaire has posed:
Alison laughs, slipping into her normal voice, "Oh, you think you've got all of that to bring, don't you? I don't know, Nick, I think we should up the ante a little- pizza is all well and good, but I've been /practicing/, you see!"

She reaches for her flavored water and takes a sip, "And I think I might just whip your butt this time around! Pizza's on the table, fine, but I'm thinking bigger. Loser buys pizza /and/ does a challenge of the winner's choosing on Tiktok. How brave are you feeling?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Characters fully dropped, Nick goes back to his normal voice. "So you know, I will be flying back over tomorrow so I'll probably be jet-lagged." He points out solemn toned. Eghads, is he about to back out? After all that? "So with you practicing, this might ALMOST be a fair fight for you. BRING IT DAZZLER."

...

"Friday evening or Saturday morning?"

Alison Blaire has posed:
"Saturday morning!" Alison says, her voice conveying that smirks he gets every time Nick teases her like that, "I'll be there with bells on, Mister Tycoon."

She takes her feet off the table and ssits up, "I don't know why you just don't gallop over here, since you seemed to manage it just fine right before your concert!" it's now her time to tease. "My friend Irma works at Metro IT, you know." A giggle, "See you then!"
