Synopsis: Chance meeting of Emma, Longshot and Impluse in the Pinnacle! Bart's identiy is a little less safe, but missing raptor found!
Cast of Characters: Longshot, Emma Frost, Bart Allen

Longshot has posed:
Urban Parks are a strange public space. Yes, it is a park and hosts the usual park-like accommodations. But some place this difficult to find if you didn't already know where it is? Hard to claim that is a space that has been made for the public. Or perhaps this is just one of the better kept secrets of SoHo.

As it is, the Pinnacle is usually quiet, both in sound and with people, but today the sounds of a solo saxophone echos through the green and bounces with surprisingly pleasing acoustics off of the surrounding buildings. Clearly someone who knows how to play has picked this park for that particularly pleasing acoustics made by brick and mortar and the trappings of buildings sealed on all sides, but open to the sky.

The man himself sits on a bench near the center of the green, dressed warmly in black and yellow, a=his saxophone case next to him. Yet, Longshot is not busking, just eyes closed and playing. For himself it would seem, playing with the sound the space creates. The music drifts through traditional jazz reels, improvisation included, to familiar pop of Dazzler, and jingles of commercials and television theme songs sprinkled in. As he starts to move into video game themes, he'll stop, adjust his mouthpiece and run a scale quietly, then back to playing loud enough for the odd structure of the park to echo back to him.

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma passively loathes SoHo. It's so pretentious. Even by her standards. So artificial and in her eyes inflated. It's where the Yuppies came and gentrified, and then tried to class it up but had no real idea how to be classy. Emma Frost does enjoy getting to mock someone else's aesthetic. Then again she's quite hypocritical and up front about it.

She takes a moment to recognize the strange aura that is Longshot over with the glowing of his cybernetic eye, and watches at him warily as he would go through to let the music play.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen is out looking for something. It seems a falcon got loose from the Zoo, and it has some issues that need checked on. So, Bart through on the Impulse costume, and is checking the wildish areas around New York. He has a backpack on, which is not normal for him. He zooms into the area, and stops looking about. When he sees Longshot, his brow raises but he hides the reaction.

Longshot has posed:
Longshot is a strange aura, physical appearance included! He's beautiful in the way men rarely are, long blond hair hangs loose in growing out mullet that falls past his shoulders, the one of his blue eyes flashes with a golden light from time to time, like a cat's eyes might in the dark. Should the telepath attempt to touch off his mind, she will find a total and complete lack of mental defenses, even those slight passive barriers that some people unconsciously create, almost as if incapable of such things: he is, if pushed, entirely an open book. An open, mostly empty book.

The crooning of the saxophone working through variations on a popular double-arched burger chain will stop, as the feeling of being watched will have Longshot looking around. Upon spotting a pretty lady watching him will have Longshot look around the mostly-empty park again, attention returning to the stranger with an earnest concern, "Sorry, am I bothering you? I can stop-or go somewhere else."

The glow in Longshot's eye has been present, but now fades for the firstt time, almost exactly as a speedster in full hero-gear seemingly appears from nowhere. Coincidence? Perhaps! Longshot's attention is immediately yanked to the super hero, an expression of delight flicking across his face. Fan much? Absolutely! Longshot does not know he's accidentally called this hero's number in the past, to great results, but minor happy coincidences that he is unaware of are a norm in his existence.

Longshot doesn't actually recognize which of the speedy guys this one is, but it doesn't matter to him, it's an actual hero! The saxophone is immediately abandoned in favor of shuffling through pockets, "If you're not busy, Can I have your autograph?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would glance over at Longshot, "What brings you out here, Hoffman?" She would quip over at the man with the mullet. Nevermind that it didn't quite fit Longshot. "And you're not. Merely wondering what exactly is going to happen here." Longshot had been in those times she'd run itno him accompanied by chaos. Not malice, just great anarchy. But, from what she'd read in the reports of his escapades from the X-Men, that went wtihout saying now, didn't it?

She would glance over at Impulse and then 'huhs'. "So what brings one of the Titans here?" He is one of the Titans, right? Emma tends to get the members of the secondary teams somewhat mixed up. At least when there are a lot of them.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over and says "Um sure, to Longshot, he is not used to being asked for an autograph, As Emma speaks to him, he nods "I am Impulse, and yea I am part of the titans, I know this moay sound odd, but have you seen a large albino bird of prey about?" He will ask, as he waits for something to sign and sign with.

Longshot has posed:
"It's a nice day and Doom Manor is Boring." Longshot has no clue who this lady is, but strangers being friendly is nothing new! He'll flash Emma a bright smile, relief that he's not being a bother, almost palpable in his expression, "I haven't gotten to play in a while. Had to make sure I hadn't forgotten how!"

Being arrested then turned into someone else does have the side-effect of not being able to practice one's new hobbies. Shuffling through pockets continues revealing a large amount of junk that Longshot liked will go from pockets to the saxophone case. A candy wrapper folded into a crane, a large number of used single-used hyperloop tickets, a box of extra reeds for the saxophone, his phone, a set of keys, another set of keys, a bouncy ball, a single jack, a half of a quarter, a flattened quarter, a keychain emblem of Spiderman's symbol with the chain broken, and finally a little notepad will be produced and a pen!

This will be flicked through quickly, a check that the pen works, and Longshot will be up and offering them out to Impulse, "Thank you very much! I aspire to be a hero and help people!"

The question will have him shake his head, "What's a bird of prey? Is that like a normal bird?"

Emma Frost has posed:
Emma Frost would just look over at Latveria, "Even I can't think that the.. Ruler of Latveria would prseume to call his abode by such a thing." Then again, he did have Castle Doom, and Fortress Doom, and Doomsdat.. Ah well. Emma goes to casually tap her fingers over around her cheek.

"So, what exactly brings you out to here? Or is there some sort of catastrophe that you're passing by on your way to or from?" The few Speed Forcers she's met have a very strange relationship when it comes to time and linearity.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will take the pen, and starts to write, and L, but then remembers "And who should I make this out to?" He asks. At Emma's question, he looks over, and says "Not really a catastrophe. I was visiting the zoo, and heard that they have a falcon escape, who was a rescue. It is an albino, so surviving in the wild is more difficult for it." To Longshot, he says "A bird of prey is a bird that eats meat, and has talons and a curved beak."

Longshot has posed:
Emma's words bring more confusion. Is one of the Doom Patrol ruler of Latveria? Longshot doesn't know and will have to ask when he returns this evening. He's not sure what or where Latveria is, having not had internet access when it was in the news. Why are they in New Jersey then? There's a lot there and efficient use of questions is not really something Longshot excels at, instead, he'll give Emma a nod, focusing on the part he did understand, "I didn't get the impression Doom Patrol was great at branding."

This, at least is something he can and does have opinions on. Longshot starts returning the contents of his pockets back to his pockets, immediately beaming at Impulse, "To Longshot Please! Thank you!"

Big white bird? Sharp beak and talons and? Interesting? Longshot waves towards one of the larger trees in the area, "I haven't been paying great attention since being here, but I'd check in that one if I were you? Very-Um-Birdy. A tree. Yeah." This will be punctuated with a bright nod, "Good tree for birds of all kinds."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods his head a bit to sign the paper, as the woman takes her leave he starts to say something and something odd happens. His goggles fall off, that never happens. Cause of this it is sorta obvious who Impulse is, the yellow eyes are a bit of a give away.

Longshot has posed:
Longshot's attention is mostly on the tree he pointed at, part of him hoping that this was a lucky guess and he could be helpful to the hero Impulse, but luck doesn't really work out the way he intends it. Things happen all the time that are nice for him, but he has no control over those thing without putting effort into it. Most of the time, things just happen, even the impossible.

Longshot's attention returns to the speedster as goggles fall off, one hand immediately forward to catch them, and missing as the surprise and realization settles in.

"Bart, you're a superhero!?" The delight has Longshot forward and hugging Bart tightly with a laugh, "And here I thought I was just lucky to have friends willing to try and save me from prison, you're just awesome and save people from all the time!"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks to him, and takes the goggles, and messes with them a moment to refasten them, "Um, yea but you can't tell anyone, and how did ya get out. The lawyer able to get you out on bond or something?" He does finish the autograph, and adds "So you know, if you know a hero's Identity when they are in costume, you need to make sure you call them the hero name. He does return the hug though, Bart is a friendly guy and has no problems with hugs.

Longshot has posed:
"Right! Impulse! Sorry! No, a space and time witch broke me out!" Wait, he shouldn't sound that pleased about that and Longshot seems to realize it, he backs off again, nodding, managing to look sheepish, "Sorry, I didn't really want her murdering anyone, and I think we know eachother maybe? So it was sort of complicated? I think there's a warrant now out for me, BUT! Nice lawyer will probably help me out with that! It'll work out, I promise!"

It usually does, and he's admittedly not particularly willing to be arrested again if he can help it. Which, he usually can. Still, there is a pause in the ramble to beam at Impulse, "But this is really cool! I had no idea! You're really fast? I'm lucky! That's a power, I promise! Wow! This is amazing! You're amazing! I already knew that, but even more so!"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen puts his hand to his head for a moment, wondering if meeting Longshot maybe a bit of Karma for when he first came to the time. He does like the guy though, and says "Well you should stay away from the police, and might want to get a hat or something, try to disguise yourself a bit, so you don't stand out as much.

Longshot has posed:
"I don't stand out that much do I? Wait, Hat! Hat! Yes sir! I can get a hat!" The brightness doesn't dim, Longshot giving a half-salute, "And some shade glasses! I like those a lot!"

The autograph will still be put safely away in a pocket, but there is a brief flicker of hesitation across the man. "Can I ask you a question? It's another stupid one, but-How do you become a super hero? I tried to apply at the police station, I keep getting arrested for doing vigilante work, I want to be helpful. How can I do that without the law being upset with me all the time?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen says, "Well, without having proper ID, you could try to become part of a team, and might help, but to be honest it is easier to make sure as when the police get there you should be leaving if possible. It also will get different reactions to what your doing in different cities. Some are a lot more happy to have them helping.""

Longshot has posed:
Longshot should ask Doom Patrol if he's a member. . . . He has been living there, but the topic never really came up, maybe that's more important than Longshot realized. They are his friends and he didn't really consider things beyond that.

He'll give Impulse a nod, "Good, yes, team and leave earlier-I can do that!" A glance at the tree that might have a bird in it will herald the return of a smile, "But you're working and there's a bird to find right?"

He'll step back, unclip the saxophone and put it back in it's case before starting to jog between trees, peering in for the missing raptor: far, far less efficient than Impulse checking himself, but Longshot is trying to be helpful!

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will move around looking about and what would ya know the Falcon is there. He takes off his backpack, and pulls out a glove, and some food, and with a bit of coaxing he gets the bird on his arm eating and puts a hood on it, so he will be able to get it back to the zoo. "Got her, thanks"
