Profile
Bartholomew Henry Allen II hails from a possible dystopian future. He came back and prevented that future from happening, but unfortunately now he's stuck here. With the dedication in mind to become a good hero for the sake of helping others, Bart is now attempting to learn what he can and do his absolute best to help bring about a brighter future than the one he was stuck with.
Timeline
Timeline:
* 3001 Bart is born to Don Allen and Meloni Thawne. Which makes Bart the Grandson of both The Flash (Barry Allen) and Reverse Flash (Eobard Thawne.) Bart was born in an accelerated state cause of the speed force. Over the next two years he was raised inside a virtual reality emerging with the development of a twelve year old.
* 3004 Meloni Thawne and Iris West break Bart out of his VR world, and send him back to modern times (2015) to get the help of Wally West to fix Bart's aging issues. Which he does, and sets Bart up with Max Mercury as a mentor and guardian.
* 2015 Bart and Max move to Manchester Alabama where Bart has some adventures as he learns more about his powers
* 2017 Bart moves to live with Jay and Joan Garrick and goes to Happy Harbor High School. During this time, he meets up and befriends a group of heroes who work together as a team for a while.
* 2020 Bart Graduates high school and he starts trying to live the life of an adult, and a superhero, here's wishing him luck.

Personality
Hyperactive:
Bart talks a mile a minute and is just as hyper. It'd be like if you gave a chipmunk an energy drink. By the time Bart is often finished with a sentence, many people are wondering what on earth they just witnessed. Bart is extremely friendly, loud, and quick-thinking, which makes his social interactions more comical than serious.
Impulsive:
Bart Allen has a difficult time looking before he leaps or trying to think logically before tackling the problem. Be it in a social situation or one where a mask is preferred, Bart is the type of person to rush into danger and figure out the rest later than observe, come up with a plan, and act on it. Its the reason his first superhero name as it were, was Impulse.
Talkative:
Perhaps a trait shared with all members tied to the Speed Force, Bart Allen is extremely talkative and rarely, if ever, sits quiet or shuts up period. He often is not above openly mocking his opponents or expressing himself in a flamboyant and/or showboating manner.
Vernacular:
Hailing from the 31st century does bring its own unique blend of words that do not mean anything like they do here. He enjoys using words like 'crash', which is some sort of future slang for 'awesome' or 'cool', while 'moded' can mean 'screwed' or anything relatively not good. Many of his words are lost on people, but it doesn't seem to bother him any.
Character Sheet
Powers
Accelerated Healing:
Being connected to the Speed Force means that everything is -fast-. In this case, its like his cells are simply moving faster than the average person's. He can heal from surface wounds in a few seconds, moderate injuries require hours, and severe injuries, like a broken spine, can fully heal within a few weeks. He cannot recover from limb loss or organ removal and of course, he cannot come back from the grave.
Electrokinesis:
A trait shared with everyone who partakes in the gift of the Speed Force, when Bart runs he often eminates sparks and trails of electricity around and behind him due to the conductivity of high speed static movement. In an offensive movement, He has a single chance to throw this lightning like a blast of electricity at a target, though its really just a concussive force kind of offense. To the average person, it could send them sailing across a room or in for a really bad shock.
Enhanced Durability:
Bart's body is built to withstand the extreme speed that he's able to move with. Its why he doesn't immediately disentegrate at his higher speeds or suffer any negative effects if he suddenly comes to a stop or slow down. He can typically withstand and resist kinetic assault that would easily crush a normal human, though this really only applies to blunt force trauma assaults like getting thrown through a brick wall or getting punched by someone with super strength. Though his bones will still break, his skin will still tear, etc. If the right amount of force is applied, Bart will just still be alive is all and can still get back in the fight.
Phasing:
By vibrating every molecule in his body, Impulse can actually briefly make himself intangible in order to pass through solid objects as if he had no solid matter to begin with. It should be stated that it takes a degree of focus in order to perform this technique and any mistake made could involve IMpulse being stuck in the substance, cause it to shatter, or even cause the item in question to explode. Also, phasing only works on inanimate objects, not people. If he tried to phase through a person, he'd quite literally just bounce off of his target with no harm to them and all the harm to himself.
Speed Force Conduit:
Bart Allen comes from a line of Speedsters that have quite the intimate connection with the Speed Force, the energy field that grants incredible speed to those who have a connection with it. As such, this trait is entirely genetic and makes cutting him off from the speed force extremely difficult, but not impossible. Bart Allen's connection to the Speed Force, albeit despite not being entirely understood by Bart himself, is the reason why his mental and physical facilities are accelerated beyond normal human function.
Super Reflexes:
Using his super speed, Bart can notice and react to incredibly fast moving objects. Ironically, the world seems to almost be in slow motion for Bart when he uses his speed and almost appears to come to a near complete stop at his highest speeds. He could poke a bullet out of its projected path or just outright catch it, as well as move out of its way at point blank range.
Super Speed:
Bart's primary ability is that he can run really, really, -really- fast. While he is not quite even near the level of his grandfather, Barry Allen, when Bart runs, he is often just only able to be perceived as a blur at his casual speeds. He can run across surfaces that should be impossible, like Water and up the sides of buildings with little issue so long as he has the momentum to do it and even run across items in the air before gravity has a chance to truly affect it...so long as he has the speed to carry him.
He tends to peak out at the peak of hypersonic speeds at about Mach 10, but can only hold to that max speed for about an hour maximum.
Super Stamina:
Due to Bart's connection with the Speed Force, so long as he meets the metabolism requirement to effectively use his Speed, Bart possesses an almost inexhaustible level of stamina and can run for hours before fatigue even begins to become a problem.
Skills
Future Knowledge:
Bart may not come from the future that is set to pass, but he does come from a -possible- future that could be endured depending on how the state of things decide to proceed. He knows certain historical events that may happen, for example. He also is aware of futuristic technology and how it works, thoughhe can't recreate really any of the materials from the future because the materials he would need doesn't quite exist yet.
Hand To Hand:
Bart knows how to box...and thats about it. But he uses that fighting style in conjunction with his Super Speed in order to make it actually effective.
Photographic Memory:
Unlike other members of the Flash Family, Bart possesses a photographic memory. He remembers everything he actively sees or hears to perfection.
Video Games:
Perhaps Bart's favorite hobby in this century. It is not uncommon at all to find Bart playing a video game when he's bored or just feeling a little competitive. He's not the best in the world at it, but its something to help pass the time and have fun with.
Resources
The Garricks:
Bart currently resides with Jay and Joan Garrick, who have pretty much adopted him as their own.
Weaknesses
Clumsy:
Surpsingly, Bart is has a habit of tripping over himself at the worst possible moments. Its not uncommon for him to be running and ultimately not watching where he's going and run into a fist that was waiting for him, or just trip on his own feet and go for a bit of a tumble.
High Metabolism:
The price of speed. If you want to go fast, you constantly need fuel. As such, Bart is always eating food en masse, but the rate in which his body is constantly burning energy keeps him eternally in good shape. However, this also means that more conventional forms of treatment like medicine or opiods or even recreational things like alcohol do next to nothing to him unless in large doses because of how fast his body burns through it all. If he doesn't keep his metabolism in check, he won't be even close to as fast as he normally is and will exhaust himself extremely quickly until he is unable to use his speed at all, though this is typically when he's starving.
Impatient:
When everything else looks like its going in slow motion, Bart has a difficult time at some points trying to keep a patient mind. When told to wait, thats like telling him to suffer - in his own logical opinion anyway -. Bart prefers to be on the move and doing -something-, even if its literally tapping his foot against the ground a thousand times before someone else finishes eating breakfast.
Impulsive:
Being largely unable to think before he acts, Bart is all for punching first and asking questions later. Or in this case, running first. He often charges headfirst into situations he knows either little or nothing about at all and consistently puts him in terrible straights.
Speed Force:
It should be stated that Bart does NOT know how to access to the limits of the Speed Force. He will always be held back until he finds out a way to draw from it and will always be at a disadvantage to other speedsters who can use the Speed Force due to the lack of experience.
Spoiler Alert:
Bart has a hard time keeping his mouth shut, especially when it can come to future events. Though they are not set in stone, Bart has something of a bad reputation for spoiling what may happen in someone's life or reveal sensitive information. Thankfully, there's no guarantee that any of what he says will actually happen, but who knows?
