Synopsis: Heidi is tricked into doing Hades' BIDDING!
Cast of Characters: Heidi Ingerdottir, Alexander Aaron

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
It's so great that in the middle of New York City they have a large section of land with wildlife. A green space amidst all of the big city. Heidi spends a lot of time here, especially because it feels a bit freeing... while still being in the city close by in case anything major happens. After all, who knows when some big battle might occur?

Today, she isn't with Eira, which is unusual lately, given she's been training the pegasus more often than not--a sudden amount of free time. She's working on occupying that. Instead, she's wandering idly down one of the trails, lost in thought, dressed in her usual Midgardian fashion... which tends to run a little bit hippy-like with long flowing garments.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
It is a lovely day, with the sun settled nicely behind a nest of clouds, the foot traffic of the park a steady thing with many of the city's denizens embracing the warmth of Spring. And the tableau, with the fresh brilliance of emerald green leaves and grass, it would be breathtaking in any setting only for it to be so within a city makes it all the more cherished.
Most of the travelers wandering the park are locals, citizens of the town and area, though there are a handful of tourists. Some, however... are entirely singular tourists. Such as Heidi Ingersdottir, lady of Asgard. For she has traveled far to be here.
And then there is this man. The tall barrel-chested fellow that is settled upon a park bench, black cane in hand with its crystal grip. He's dressed in a fine ash grey suit, immaculately tailored and hugging his massive frame. His features are handsome if severe, all angles and sharp edges, made all the more seeming so with his well-groomed beard and the way his hair is pulled back into a pony tail.
He's settled on the bench, taking up two of the seats usually meant for three, so large is he. But when Heidi advances around the bend he turns to look at her and offers greetings.
"Ah, Heidi Ingersdottir. At last we meet."

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
While Heidi normally passively takes in everyone and everything around her so as not to be surprised, her attention is drawn even more so to the fellow on the bench. His mention of her name has her stop her pace, raising a hand in a small greeting. "Hail, friend. I am afraid I do not recall planning a meeting with anyone so I am at loss as to who you are."

Instead of standing potentially in the way of others walking on the path, she navigates herself closer to the bench, though she makes no move to sit, instead standing nearby.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The tall man friendly seeming, open and cheerful as he rests there with both hands upon the handle of that slick black cane. When his lips part in a smile, a glimmer of a diamond can be seen in one of his teeth, granting a shine that might even reach those crimson eyes of his. Assuredly not a normal Midgardian.
"I am Addes." His voice is thick with an accent she may not be familiar with, Mediterranean as he then adds, "Theios Addes," The name has a curious emphases upon the A which he lingers over in speaking.
"You are acquainted with my nephew, Alexander." The X in that name as well has added emphasis, causing a roll of the tongue.
"I am pleased to see he is adjusting to mortal life so well as to make fine friends of one such as yourself."

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
"Ah, yes," Heidi offers a firm nod of greeting. "Yes, I am well acquainted with Alexander." She is also acquainted with stories of his family. Given the mention of 'mortal life', she can only guess that he is, indeed, more than the average Midgardian. "He seems to do well here. He is very well liked, I would say due to his good qualities. I do not believe he has trouble making friends."

While she's aware of the compliment in her direction, she's much more interested in directing it in Alexander's direction than her own. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Theios Addes. It is always interesting to meet the family of those who are around us."

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The Greek's crimson eyes seem so gentle and he presents such a fine figure of a man. Nodding along with her words at times he smiles at the last. "Indeed, family. A very precious thing I would say. It is on that matter to which I would speak with you." That said he takes a deep breath, pondering, gathering his words. Then he embarks on his path.
"A remarkable youth is he not? And I trust he has been forthcoming with you, due to your own nature." He then shifts a little to the side, a curious thing to see such a large man just shimmy as if aware how much space he takes. "Do please join me, I would ask of you a favor and it would not do for the supplicant to be seated while the benefactor so stands."
He motions with one large hand, "Please." He repeats.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
A favor? Heidi seems to find this an interesting opportunity, so she does as requested and settles herself in the remaining spot on the bench, angling herself more in his direction to speak. "I must admit I am not sure what favor I may do, but I shall attempt to help if I am able. Alexander is a dear friend and if this concerns him I would like to aid."

Really, she has no idea of the nature of the request in the first place, but she does want to help.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
"Excellent, excellent. It is a testament not only to young Alexander but yourself that he forges such a friendship." The tall man with the red gaze smiles to her, nodding slowly with that steady friendly way to him. He looks away, takes a breath, then looks back.
"I am come to ask of you this favor, as you know family is important. And you know our family is a curious one, filled with trial and tumult. With long lives come long held grudges and I would not wish my nephew to become embroiled in such."
He flares his hands, fingers spreading as he still holds onto that cane. "I have only met my nephew once, during his ascendance. He struck me as a fine fellow. Intense, but perhaps that was the occasion." He heaves a small sigh, "I thought I would have a chance to get to know him. Only to find that he has spurned my attempts to speak with him. His father..."
A pause as he looks away, sadly, then back to Heidi. "His father and I do not get along, old bad blood, old ties let wither. He has poisoned his son's mind against me. And yet in Alexander I see... the potential, a future. He is new blood in an old old family."

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
"I cannot say I know much of his family, but I do know that he does not seem to feel particularly interested in fully embracing that. If you are asking that I speak to him on your behalf, I can only warn you that I will relay your intent to speak with him and perhaps make amends, but I cannot convince him. I respect his wishes and should he not be interested, I would respect that as well."

Heidi seems to want to be as earnest as possible in this regard. "I believe you are right about him, though. Alexander is strong and has strong ideals. I believe he will forge his own path to the future, regardless of who comes along with him."

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The older man looks a little pained as he nods, "I know, and I agree with you in part." Addes shakes his head and does seem to be legitimately troubled, his crimson eyes distanced with thought and reflection before he looks back toward her.
"And I have tried. I have sent messengers to him. Servants. Wished him well. Yet I mainly in truth wish to speak with him. And I cannot simply accost him, you see?"
He shakes his head, features drooping a little. "If I had that freedom all would be so much easier. But we have rules in our family to which I must abide. His father has forbidden me, I must respect his father's wishes. However..."
A tilt of his head as he looks back to Heidi, "If you were to perhaps advise him to meet me somewhere, if he were to come of his own free will. Then... well I would be very appreciative of the individual that would help me in such a matter."

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi frowns, just slightly. "I will speak with him and let him know you wish to speak with him and perhaps where to meet, but I will inform him it is you. I understand there are rules, but I am not about to go around them if it is not something he is comfortable with. The important thing to me is that he actually wishes to speak to you. Family is important, but so is that free will."

She offers him a smile. "I can offer it to him, but that is all I can do."

Alexander Aaron has posed:
"Ah. Ah." Addes takes a deep breath, "I fear it might not be enough. So taken with ill dark thoughts attributed to one in my role." He shakes his head sadly, as if pondering what more he could possibly do.
"I understand and would not wish to endanger your position in my nephew's esteem. It is simply that I fear he will not be receptive. Is there any way I can show you I mean him no harm? Any assurance I can give that would make you more friendly to my point of view?"
He straightens up, "I am a man who is not without means. You make a friend of Theios Addes, and you make a friend for life. And beyond." That said he nods slowly, looking to her with that level crimson-eyed gaze.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
This is dangerous territory. Heidi seems uncertain about this, approaching the situation cautiously. "I still will not lie to him, regardless of your well-wishes. But if you had some show of good faith, a way of proving yourself, I could explain that or present it to him to sway him in your favor. I am not certain what that would be, as I am not familiar with the rift between your family."

She taps her chin. "I may not know you, but I have no clear reason to distrust your intentions, but you can understand that I wish to protect Alexander and I do know something of his discomfort when it comes to the mention of family. Is there perhaps an object from your family that may sway his belief in you?"

Alexander Aaron has posed:
"That." Addes nods to her and points with a fingertip, nodding slowly. "Is the fairness of Asgard right there, encapsulated in the gentle spirit of one such as yourself."
The elder god shakes his head, pleased on some level and then murmurs. "But what gift could be suitable?" He taps that cane upon the ground and frowns. "Such is a problem that often rears its head, is it not? When one travels in such circles, what gift could have meaning to those of us who have no use for material goods."
The tall man shakes his head, and then his eyes widen. "Ah. I think I have it." He turns his head to the side, "May I trade upon your well wishes for young Alexander in keeping the gift for him until you may deliver it? It may take some oversight, you see."

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi grins a little at the praise of Asgard, though she gives him a small nod. "I am curious as to what gift you may offer him, but I will happily be sure to keep it, should it be within my power to do so. I will, of course, be delivering it promptly as well. I do not believe such things should be done in a leisurely fashion."

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The cane in his hand taps once, twice, three times upon the sidewalk, a small flicker of red energy lashing over the cane speeding downwards into the ground where it disappears into the earth beneath. There's a faint crackle, a feeling of subtle portent upon the air, then there's a faint rush of displaced air with a small /pop/.
And then out of the phase of reality, as if having always been there and only now come into focus, is a small black puppy with eyes seemingly only newly open with paws outstretched and maw gaaaping open in a lazy yawn followed by a short muffled yip-yip that's nestled in a steady stream of mewling cries when it finds itself newly alone and away from its litter.
"This," Addes says as he reaches down, his cane settled across his lap. "Is Molo. Molo?" He lifts the pup up, perhaps five pounds of rolly polly canine sleepy and still crying, "Molo then." As if the pup agreed with the words. "Did you know I am known for my dogs? And yet most mortals only know of Cerberus. Shame."

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi is no stranger to animals. The winged horses of Asgard have been as much a part of her life as training to be a Valkyrie has. There are, of course, war hounds in Asgard she's been in contact with as well, though they didn't require her to train them. So seeing the mewling pup gets an odd look of maternal joy.

"Hail, young Molo." She seems to be giving the pup a greeting as she would anyone. A show of respect for the animal. "I was unaware of your connection to dogs, although I am in the process of attempting to read up on the records that seem to have been badly mistranslated, I believe, of your family and ilk." A fact she hadn't exactly been forthcoming telling Alexander about. It is, perhaps, a bit embarrassing. Molo is given another look. "I do hope that Alexander enjoys this gift."

Alexander Aaron has posed:
"There," Addes gives her a nod and then pushes himself up to his feet, "Convey good Molo to his care, though..." A pause as he looks down at the puppy, then to Heidi. "If he does not wish the dog then please convey him back to me. If you would, please."
That said he stretches and sighs, "Ah, I am old. A few hours out and about and already I am tired." The tall man with the red eyes shakes his head, "I tell you, Lady Ingerdottir, enjoy your youth. Even if you may not feel so young you are."
That said he nods, "Until the next time." That said he starts to step away, cane clicking upon the sidewalk.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi takes the opportunity to scoop Molo up, not wanting the pup to be whimpering alone. It needed the warmth of someone, so she'd have to do for now. "Now Molo, you will be fine. Strong and healthy." She does, however, remember that Addes is still there and she gives him a firm nod.

"I shall be certain to convey this lovely gift to him and make him aware of your intentions. Thank you for trusting me with this." She nods her farewell, looking back towards him.
