Synopsis:	Pixie and Robin temporarily hold off an Escabedos invasion. Honey Badger makes a Guest Star appearance for some custom nut work.

    For the past few weeks, Robin has been tracking a new drug called Pheer. It is a pink powder that is snorted or smoked and it creates an exciting fear effect in users. Basically it recreationalizes fear. An analysis on the Bat Computer shows that is has the same base chemical signature as The Scarecrow's toxin. Who is behind this new drug is still an unknown, but the Escabedos have been the exclusive dealers. Robin's activities in the Narrows have all but shut down the lucrative Pheer trade, but now it seems the Escabedos are fighting back!

    There are dozens of well-armed clusters of Escabedos moving through the most dangerous parts of Gotham tonight. It's an all-out attack, a severe pushback against the shutdown of their drug trade. Fires are being started, civilians are being beaten, stores and homes are being looted. This is the single biggest mobilization of Escabedos in recent memory, possibly ever.

    High on a rooftop overlooking the Narrows, Robin watches what's going on below. It would be suicide for him to go down there alone, but he can't just watch and do nothing. A deep frown crosses his face.

Megan Gwynn was trying to get more involved in stuff and prove herself. For whatever reason, she had been feeling like she wasn't good enough or so,etching. Perhaps it was a bad experience that reminded her she needed to be bigger, better, stronger..Whatever the case, she somehow got involved in this whole crazy drug set up thing..

Really she should call for backup, but everything is happening so quickly. Dressed in her black leather X-men tactical suit, she just happens to land on the same rooftop as Robin, not far from where he is lurking. She peers down below, trying to make out figures in the half darkness, not yet aware that there's someone else on this rooftop doing the same..

    Robin glances over when the figure lands on the roof near him. He doesn't look relieved to see another hero -- looking relieved is just not the Robin way -- but one might say his frown eases up just a bit. That's practically gushing by Damian Wayne standards! He looks back down at the pure chaos below. As he stares downward he says, "Pixie. It is agreeable to see you. Things are going to hell down there right now, and I'm responsible for it."

    A deep breath. A low sigh. "Are you here to help?"

Megan Gwynn arches a brow at Robin, she doesn't know know him, but she's heard of him. The Batman is involved in the Outsyders Afterall. "Heh, so you must be Robin then, huh? Or one of the Robins. How many are there, anyway?" she grins at the thought but now I not the time for small talk.

She nods towards the thugs below. "Soo, how do we approach this, and how are you responsible..?" she arches a curious brow at him and nods, "I'll help however I can!"

    Depite the whirlwind of activity in the Narrows, Robin stands with his hands clasped easily behind his back, staring impassively down below. He is a strategist and a tactician. Unless pushed hard, he doesn't react emotionally to these situations.

    "There's a new drug in Gotham called Pheer being dealt exclusively by the Escabedos. Really bad stuff. I've been patrolling their territory hard and have all but shut down the sale of Pheer." The teen vigilante nods to the mass violence below. "*This* is what eventually happens when you put the lid on a pot of boiling water."

    He exhales and looks at Pixie. "Yes. I'm Robin. The only Robin. The Outsiders, as you no doubt know, are led by Red Robin. There is Nightwing, who used to be Robin. And the Batman has several other associates. But I am currently the only Robin." Good. Got that out of the way. "And as far as what we do, eventually the GCPD will mobilize their S.W.A.T. forces and take the Narrows back by force. But that could take upwards of an hour. What we should do in the meantime is focus on saving innocent lives."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn smirks, sounds like a lot of robinish types to her but she just shrugs, keeping quiet as she eyes the thugs below. "Wait, so these guys are dealing drugs and innocents are getting caught in the middle..?" she frowns, peering more closely at the mayhem below.

"Well you're probably better at tactics than me..But I've probably got better mobility, if you wanna direct, I can port some folks to safety, maybe subdue the thugs with a 'magic drug' of my own while you draw the enemy away..How's that?"

Damian Wayne has posed:
    Robin shakes his head. "They aren't dealing drugs down there. They're sending me a message that this is what happens if I interfere with their business." A frown. "I intend on sending my reply."

"We should start out over on the west side of Robinson Park. There are apartment complexes there full of locals who won't be able to defend themselves against the Escabedos. Do you have comms? I have the Outsiders operational frequency on mine." He reaches up to one ear and adjusts something.

    << Test. Test. Do you hear me? >> comes out over the Outsiders ops channel.

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods, checking her outsiders com. "Yup, it's working. Let's go! I can port us there faster..Sihal Novarum Chinoth!" and just like that, a pink stepping disc surrounds them, teleporting them instantly to the west side of the park. "So what, we send the innocents packing or we take a stand?" she waits to see what he'll decide next before acting, peering around at the apartments, wondering if they can really manage this between the two of them.

Damian Wayne has posed:
    Robin ducks behind a car after the teleportation. If he's shocked at being magically transported, he shows no outward sign of it. One might (correctly) surmise that this isn't his first rodeo.

    "If we take a stand, the Outsiders and the Batman are going to be advertising for new recruits to replace us after our funerals. No, we should engage small, isolated groups only as necessary to get endangered civilians out of..."

    And is if on cue, there is the sound of shattering glass and a scream from an apartment complex ironically named Paradise Plaza. Some Escabedos have pried the bars off of a first-floor window using crowbars and a sledgehammer, and have shattered open the window. They are in the process of pulling a flailing woman out.

    In the amount of time it would take the average person just to parse what's going on, Robin is already in motion. The sound of a compressed gas device firing. A grappling hook flying through the air. The teen vigilante is suddenly pulled up and in the direction of the commotion. No fear. No hesitation.

    << I'll create a diversion. You get the residents out of that apartment.>>

    Robin lands on the ground, silent as a shadow, just past this group of five gangbangers. He folds his arms over his chest and leans his shoulder casually against the side of the building. "Gentlemen, this is going to hurt you a *lot* more than it's going to hurt me." All five of them suddenly turn to face Robin.

Megan Gwynn is already running and then flying towards said apartment complex. "Got it!" she switches to radio comm then, it's just easier. But..How will she get everyone out in time? Aha, the fire alarm! She punches it, then yells at everyone to get out, before scanning the halls, finding another bunch of thugs trying to throw more civilians out a window.

"Hey, that's not nice!" she swoops down, grabbing the falling kids, setting them down safely on the ground. "Go over there, it's safer.." she ushers the kids to the muster point where the police and fire engine will be arriving Soon.

With that dome, she turns back to the building, circling it slowly, carefully searching for any signs of other innocents in danger. But looks like more thugs are running towards Robin. <<Robin! incoming, your three o'clock!>> she warns.

    Five grown men converge on the 5'8" tall, reed-thin teenager. Easy pickings! Right? Nope. Wrong. Don't judge them too harshly, they never really had a chance to begin with. Robin weaves through them in confounding, unpredictable patterns, finding nerve clusters and vulnerable spots, and striking them fast and hard. The evils he had to perform as a *child* to learn where all of those pain points are would sicken most if they knew the truth. But at least now he uses that knowledge to fight for justice.

    24 seconds later, all five are on the ground either unconscious or wishing for that mercy. Then Robin hears Megan's warning on the comms. He spins in place to see three gang members charging for him. He glances down at the five grown men he bested, then back up at the three who are oncoming. "Really?" he says to them. They stop, consider, and then turn and run. A smirk. "Thought so."

    << All clear in front of the building. Do you need me inside or out? >>

Megan Gwynn pauses only briefly to watch, eyes widened in wonder and awe at his effortless moves. He can't be that old, maybe a teenager, really just a kid..How did he get so good? she chuckles, shaking her head as she continues to sweep the perimeter and gasps. <<inside! A bigger group of gangsters have cornered some innocents on the rooftop! I think I've got most people out, police are on their way. I gotta help some folks dangling from their balcony..Will join you shortly to evac innocents topside.>>

    Rooftop, eh? The Bat Family doesn't do stairs. His line launcher is recharged and Robin shoots it upwards. Within a moment, he's rising up fearlessly to the rooftop. He leaps over the building edge and lands on the roof above to see six Escabedos menacing some residents who came up to hide.

    A smirk. "Can I help you boys with something?" says the actual boy in this scenario. Robin thinks -- mistakenly -- that this will be another easy mop up. Then the bullets start to fly. Two of the Escabedos have uzis and they are using the hell out of them.

    There is nowhere to take cover up on this roof. Robin runs laterally to the direction of fire, but there is no way he's going to get at them. He has no choice but to leap off the roof. As he starts to fall, he tugs out his line launcher but he already knows what's going to happen. *click* *click* Nothing. He just used it to get up on the roof a few seconds ago. It hasn't recharged yet. "Shit."

    Robin blurts out over the comm, << Pixie, west side of the building, falling, need assistance! >>

Call for help? There was already some alerts going out given the level of severity for issues the Escabedos were causing. Fires and fights were cropping up on the police frequencies about them. Though, as usual, GCPD was wary of going near The Narrows leaving the people that lived there in further danger.

It's sheer luck that the timing is perfect for another black-and-yellow clad figure to swoop. Honey Badger isn't in her XMen getup--That had been given up on for awhile now. This was her own costume, as black with yellow stripes. Mask up to cover her nose and lower face it helps filter out any nasty smells or chemicals that might head her way, and the goggles keep her vision impecable. Even those with healing factors could be blinded temporarily after all.

As the gang members start to let loose on Robin with the uzis pushing him to the edge of the roof she swings in and bodily SLAMS herself feet first into one of the gang members using her weight and momentum to drive him into another standing near him. Two down, she tucks and rolls back to her feet to launch herself at a third with claws snapping out to stab in ... sensitive, soft, places. She may not kill. But she was okay with maiming and being a threat to future children.

Megan Gwynn has her hands a bit full, trying to get a family to safety from the dangling balcony in the other side of the building. But she's there in an instant, a flash of pink and black, reaching out to grab him, to land him on the balcony below. "Phew, are there still people ip there? Looks like Honeybadger got my call too." she grins.

    Robin is falling fast! He isn't sure if Pixie can even grab him in time. He closes his eyes and lets his body go completely limp in hopes of increasing his odds of surviving the fall should he hits the ground. But then he suddenly realizes his not falling anymore and opens his eyes.

    << Okay, I'm breathing. Nice catch, Pixie. Badge is here? >>

    The teen vigilante is instantly up on his feet. Sirens can be heard in the distance. Hopefully the police get here soon because word has spread amongst the Escabedos that Robin was spotted in this building, and they are starting to converge. If one of them took Robin down, he would become very wealthy and powerful among members of the gang.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Three down. Honey Badger whirls around toward another who, while armed, seems to reconsider his stance on fighting given his gang brother down on the ground writhing in agony holding his bloody crotch. The younger fellow turns and bolts right off the edge of the building with arms and legs flailing as he falls attempting to catch himself on the railing of the fire escape they'd used to get up here to begin with. It ends in a series of clanging bangs as he ricochets off a time or two. His fall is slowed but he's likely broken a few bones in the process by the time he hits the ground.

Honey Badger pops up over the edge of the roof glancing below, and giving a wave to Pixie and Robin before her voice finally comes over the comms.

<< Geeze, what'd you two do to piss these guys off? Be right down! >>

It's all that's asked before she vanishes again to quickly scoop up the uzis. A cannister is removed from her belt to shoot quick expanding foam into the barrels before dropping them again. No one was going to find those useful any longer. Satisfied for now she fires off a grapple to swing herself down to join the other two.

Megan Gwynn grins and strikes a pose. But it looks like more people are on the way. <<Yeah, that's our Badge..I think the civvies are all evacuated, except the ones on the rooftop..Though they may be safer up there if more come. Is there no end to this?>> she can already see more doing. <<Robin, what do we do?>>

    The normally dour, all-business Robin actually grins a little bit -- just a *little* bit, I mean, it *is* Robin after all -- when Honey Badger lands on the balcony. "Sup," he says with a nod.

    "I think we should retreat. From the sounds of those sirens, S.W.A.T. will be here very soon, and those Escabedos are gunning for me hard. An all-out fight with them would be suicide in these numbers. We made our point." He looks back and forth between Pixie and Honey Badger to see if they are in agreement with his suggestion.

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney would grin back. She probably is. It's hard to tell with the mask in place though. "Hey Pixie, hey Robin," she greets the pair properly even as she glances away to survey the area. Never hurt to keep an eye out after all. "Right. If they're actually coming in that'd probably be a good idea, otherwise they're just gonna keep comign for you."

"I mean. I could set up some obvious pretend traps for the gang members but that'd take time."

Megan Gwynn has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods and sighs, "Geez, these guys are serious. But you're right, let SWAT deal with them. But I imagine they'll be back." she grins and nods to Badger once they are all together again. "Well that was fun, I gotta hang out with you bats more often!"

    Once the trio is safely out of harm's way on a distant rooftop, and a wave of S.W.A.T. rolls in to the Narrows, Robin is able to relax a bit. He even sits down on the rooftop, dangling his legs over the edge. "Pixie, your skills out there were adequate. Call on me anytime." 'Adequate' is actually high praise coming from Robin.

    The teen vigilante looks over toward Honey Badger, a small half-grin on his lips. "Badge...you gotta chill with the nut stuff. Guys just don't like that. I almost jumped in to help the Escabedos."

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney reaches up to tug her mask down so she can be seen smiling by both of the other teen vigilantes. "Great job with the evac and save, Pixie. Really need to catch up with you more often." Maybe Robin only gives 'adequate' praise, but she's a bit more forth coming with the praise. "See you at the next movie night?"

As for Robin... She spreads her hands in a helpless shrug that was really anything but helpless. "Psychological trauma can be just as effective as physical trauma sometimes! It's not my fault they've got such a weakness!" Is she joking? Probably.

Megan Gwynn smirks, "Just adequate, huh? Well thanks, I guess?" she looks amused but hey it's better than bad. She smiles and nods at Badger, "Good thing you were in the area, thanks again! So now what? I guess they make you do all those fun reports and paperwork right?"

Damian Wayne has posed:
    A nod. "I'll log a report in the Bat Computer so the rest of the team has access to the information. Red Robin can get those reports and disseminate them to the Outsiders as well," Robin informs. "I think this situation with the Escabedos has escalated to the point where I can't handle it alone." A rare admission from Robin. "I'll need to brief Batman and see how he wants me to handle this."

Gabby Kinney has posed:
Gabby Kinney gives a nod to the affirmative even while grinning a bit at Pixie's reaction. "Yeah, that's usually what happens with the wrap up of things. I'm still getting used to doing reports myself." Speaking of... She inclines her head toward Robin in apparent acceptance of what was said. "I'll tell Red Robin to look it up, and keep an ear out about the Escabedos. Of course, if you need extra help, you know we're available too."

Megan Gwynn smirks and stretches, "Well gee I'm glad that I don't have to do all that not so fun leadery stuff." she makes a face and yawns, "I'll touch base with the outsiders too, although they'll likely get the report anyway. I'm the meantime, I have another appointment, see has later!" she hovers to the sky, waving at the pair before flying off.
