Location: Abandoned Amusement Park - Amusement Mile
Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Sunrise Aberdeen, Pernila Moore

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
In the darkness of the abandoned amusement park an old, battered VW Bus sits. The side door is slid open, and it seems like the owner has setup camp. Behind the bus the ruins of Doctor Dracula's House Of Horror casts a lurid silhouette. A folding chair has been setup beside a scuffed camping lantern, casting bright light about and sending mocking shadows against walls here and there.

Sunrise strums at the acoustic guitar in her lap, a look of concentration on her pale face. She's good. Not great, but good. She runs her fingers across the strings without a pick, her skin too tough to break or cause any issues as she plays. An acoustic rendition of Black Hole Sun echoes through the park, from the House of Mirrors to the rusted bumper cars.

Skinny jeans with numerous tears and worn skater shoes go with a rumpled flannel and old Nirvana shirt. Her pale blonde hair is pulled back into a haphazard bun.

Pernila Moore has posed:
somewhere close by a zombie staggers slowly amidst the ruins of this amusement park. She groans near Dracula's House of Horror, as if detesting what to her, is a bad joke right now. Blood smears her clothing and stains her teeth. An attempted murder was thwarted twenty minutes ago, the murderer now a pile of bones, and scraps of meat that were left. The zombie is unaware that another of the dead rests nearby, but sometimes fate has a funny way of bringing certain beings together...

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
The song ends, and the tall, skinny blonde leans in to adjust the tuning a little bit, apparently unhappy with the exact sound. "Come on, come on...," she growls to herself softly. Her nostrils catch a scent, then. Death. Death, blood and rotting flesh. Even if a human didn't have a strong enough sense of smell to catch it, she is far from that. She goes silent and glances up from her guitar, and instinctual, almost canine growl building in the base of her throat, as she scans the darkness.

She slowly sets her guitar aside and tucks a locke of hair behind her ear, watching silently as the smell grows closer.

Pernila Moore has posed:
The zombie stares at the park now, regret filling her, a dead place that was once filled with laughter, happiness, family gatherings. She howls for a few seconds, the emotion welling up, then leaving her just as quickly. This will be a good place to hide until the next night, that is what she is thinking, and she staggers on slowly in search of something to bury herself in..

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
The howl makes the hackles on the back of her neck rise, and she rises to her feet. One hand closes and opens a few times as she pushes her stolen blood into her fingertips...where her nails grow an inch or two and sharpen notably. Just in case.

"I know you're out there," the girl calls to the darkness. What's out there? She doesn't know, but it's moving, so she decides to act knowledgable. "You might as well come out into the light."

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore growls at the voice, sniffing the air, nothing alive. Dead? But there is no rotten smell. Confused she staggers towards the direction where the voice came from, "Who.. are... you..? Why.. do you not.. smell.. alive? Not dead?" Her cloudy yellow eyes would blink if she had the inclination. Her confusion causes her to press onwards..

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
"...Huh," is her initial reaction to seeing the walking corpse. She doesn't flee, but she also doesn't approach. She stands beside the electric lantern beside her van.

"Well, I'm undead. Like you...well, nothing like you, I guess. I didn't know...what are you?," she asks. She's way more curious then anything else.

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore pauses as there is now a figure, a source of the voice, and she knows what Pernila is. This... this is new. She has never met anyone who could ever just.. know that. Her bones crack as her arms move to her side, "I.. am Pernila.. cursed to walk the Earth forever.. because a NECROMANCER.." ...this word she shouts, rage clear.. "..decided.. that my life... was worth... NOTHING... I.. ate.. him.. tore limb.. from limb.. devoured.. every bit.. even bone.. his spell was.. botched.. and here.. I am.. zombie.. I think that.. is what I.. am.."

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
    "Wow. A zombie."

She runs her fingers back through her hair and then slowly lowers herself back into her chair. She considers a moment and then rises. She turns to reach into the VW bus and pulls out another folding chair. She unfolds it and sets it up near the light as well, before sinking back down into her own seat.

"Well, I'm Sunrise. Why don't you pop a squat and relax for a bit? All that graveyard haunting and bone creaking and brain eating must get pretty tiring."

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore laughs, it's an evil sound, but the emotion behind it is truly humor. The zombie slowly approaches the offered seat and then sits. Bones crack further as the mockery of decay that never ends manifests. Her eyes meet Aberdeen's now, "What.. are you.. then? You smell.. like.. nothing.."

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
That creaking of bones as the zombie would make a human nauseaus, and it does make her a hint uncomfortable, but she hides it under a lopsided grin. She uses the grin to flash a sharp little canine tooth. "See that guy behind me?," she asks, thumbing back towards the Dracula ride. "He's like...my great, great, grant dad. Also, he's a prick."

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore turns to look with another crack, then meets Aberdeen's gaze again, "Dead.. like me... Dracula? Vampire? Seriouslyyy? ..." She laughs again, "Figures... you would.. be real too.. death.. has many.. children.."

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
"All kinds. There are other breeds of Licks, too. Vampires. Not all are the same. Mine are like...the nobility? I dunno. It's all fuckin' weird," she says. "So, what's your name? I doubt dead girl is what you prefer to be called?"

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore thinks... "My name is Pernila.. and what is a Lick? I was.. forced.. into this world.. with no teacher..." Her sentences are forced as if pushed out without any breath behind them, "...continue or die.. that is.. my fate.. cannot die.. not easily.. but found another purpose.. consume evil.. eat the criminals.. devour.. them.. alll.."

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
"Vampire. Leech. Lick. Bloodsucker. Lord of the Night. Whatever." The girl nods as she listens, considering that a little bit before she fishes a pack of cigarettes from her flannel pocket, and a pack of matches. She lights the cigarette without looking directly at the flame, then takes a long drag. She pauses then, and holds up the smoke.

"Doesn't actually do anything physical for me, obviously. All mental now."

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore eyes the cigarette, "Smoking... you do.. that? Why?" She considers... "Only flesh.. that is my.. vice.. all I consume.. nothing else sustains.."

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
"I dunno. makes me feel human, I guess?" The girl shrugs it off and leans back in her chair. "I'd go crazy if all I did was sleep, wander and feed. No thank you."

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore narrows her eyes, "It is.. possible to.. feel.. alive again? What.. do you do.. with eternity?"

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
"Well, I mean...we're different. I still -feel- things. Want things. And no idea. I've only been like this for a bit. I have no idea how I'll think in a century. Hell, I have no idea how I'll think in a decade, you know?"

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore growls for a second, "I still.. feel.. emotion. Anger.. regret.. sadness.. rarely joy. Only feeling what.. I.. lost. What.. did you.. lose? To.. die.. is to.. leave all.. behind.. could never show.. myself to.. loved ones now.. they believe me.. gone.."

Sunrise Aberdeen has posed:
"My family are a bunch of assholes, and I don't miss them. I'd run away years before becoming what I am now. I lost the sun, I guess. Also...you know...being able to get close to someone without wanting to drain them of their vital fluids."

Pernila Moore has posed:
Pernila Moore snarls a bit, "Yes... drain them.. but also.. eat.. them.. all.. but I only.. eat.. the wicked. Only.. criminals.. I sustain.. my hunger.. refuse to eat.. innocents.." Her neck cracks as she looks to the sky, "I.. can walk.. under the sun.. but it is.. foolish.. easier to tell.. what I.. am.. I must hide.. from the living.."
