Synopsis:	Bruce asks Carol help with his status with SHIELD

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol Danvers is relaxing in the study, going over some SWORD reports. The kitchen staff dropped off a tray of food a little bit ago. Freshly cooked burger on a brioche roll, with the chef's special dry rub on it and fresh lettuce and tomatoes.

Carol would have probably had fast food delivered were it not for the kitchen. "So much better," she mumbles after taking a bite and sighing at the heavenly taste.

Bruce Banner has posed:
Bruce prefers to make his own food - less chance to get mad at the chef that way. A simple sliced up cold cut between two pieces of bread, balanced on a sandwich as he pads into the study wearing a t-shirt and loose-fitting sweat pants. He plops down at the table near Carol, putting his plate down as well.

"Just the person I was hoping to see ... "

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol Danvers glances up at the sound of someone coming in. "Bruce," says the blond woman warmly. She's of an age with him, if looking a dozen years younger after her influx of cosmic energy.

She gestures to the chair in invitation. "Always happy to see you. Something special you wanted to talk about?" she asks him. Carol takes a drink from what looks like a glass of iced tea.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"Sort of," Bruce admits, nodding his head, "I was hoping you could put in a good word for me. This whole house arrest thing is ... understandable, I guess? But ... look, I don't like having to sneak out to do something other than Binge watch Stranger Things on Tony's Netflix account. And the lab facilities are ... sub par. I need you to put a word in with SHIELD."

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol Danvers listens to Bruce, taking a bite of her sandwich while he tells her what's on his mind. She finishes the bite and then nods slowly. "I'll do what I can. Though there's politics that goes on around this stuff, and I'm primarily a part of SWORD so not really my focus. But, I'll see what strings I can pull," she offers.

A motion of her hand towards the door is made. "Would be happy to go with you as well when you need to get out. That would be easier to do." She being one of the few on the planet capable of going toe to toe with the Hulk if something did go wrong.

Bruce Banner has posed:
"If it's all the same, Carol," Bruce answers, frowning slightly, "The whole point is I don't want hand-holding. I've gotta live with this. Nobody is all that interested in helping me cure it so long as the Big Guy serves a function. And if they're not gonna help me get rid of him, then they need to help me live with him. You know?"

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol Danvers gives a slow nod and an understanding look back. "I agree, and I'd feel the same way," she replies to Bruce. "I'll see what I can do. Cap would be another good one to get involved of course," she suggests.

Another sip of her iced tea is taken. "You holding up ok in the meantime?"

Bruce Banner has posed:
"For the most part," Bruce nods his head, "Got a student, which is a first. Just waiting to arrange a time for them to come by."

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol Danvers smiles on hearing that. "Good. Can take the professor out of the classroom but cant take the classroom out of the professor," she replies. Carol finishes the last of her sandwich, wiping her lips with a napkin after.

"Knowing you they are probably something special," she says as she rises to her feet, putting her dishes back on the tray, apparently planning to return it to the kitchen herself rather than make the staff do it. "I'll let you know how it goes," she tells him.
