Teddy Altman has posed:
Teddy practically *lives* at Angelo's Pizza. His apartment is on this block and he is often seen sitting here working on college school work. Of course, it's summer break and Teddy has no classes right now. But he still has an appetite and he still loves pizza. So down to Angelo's he goes!

But as he approaches the front door he can hear someone yelling. He tips his head curiously and gingerly opens the door. The owner is yelling at his son for not showing up to open the store this morning. All of the dough, that takes 2-3 hours to proof, that the son was supposed to set up hasn't been prepped. They can't make pizza! Soon enough, tempers flare and the two start a scuffle.

Teddy grabs the son and drags him outside. Teddy's no tough guy, but he's built and he's strong. "Hey, hey, hey," Teddy says, standing out on the sidewalk in front of the shop with the young man, who is about his own age. "It's all good, man. Just take a walk and give your dad a chance to cool down." They both wince as a loud clatter of pants being thrown echoes from inside the shop.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson is going to poke her head along in and looking about. "Uh, hey, is this place open?" Upon hearing sounds inside she would look over in relief, "Thanks! The last place I was going to eat at was run over by a giant wheel shooting laser beams and.. I'm just lgad it was on the other side of the street." She would head over.

"This is the first place that I found that was open and I don't have a lot of time till I catch the subway back."

Of course, she arrives just as the two youths are being thrown out for scuffling.

Teddy Altman has posed:
The owner's son finally decides to take that walk that Teddy suggested. Stuffing his hands in his front pants pocket, Teddy turns toward Mary Jane. "I don't think they're going to be open for a couple of hours from what I gathered," the young man explains almost sheepishly, as if this somehow is his fault, which it is not of course. He nods in the direction of the departing kid. "That's Anthony, the owner's son. I guess he was supposed to open up and get all the dough started earlier. His dad is pissed."

Teddy points across to the street. "There's a little hole in the wall sandwich shop over there. They make amazing Cubanos. You ever have a Cubano?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would laugh, "If you mean the cigar, then no. If you mean the sandwich.. Probably. There's a lot of amazing places in the city so I might have had one at some time or another without recalling the name. Nice to meet you. I'm guessing that he's going to be having some ringing in his ears for a little longer then?" She would smile.

"And if you're not on shift care to join me? You're the one that's saved me from having to run around to find lunch."

Teddy Altman has posed:
Teddy looks over his shoulder at the pizza shop. "On shift? Oh! No, no, I don't work there." He looks back to Mary Jane, smiling broadly now. "But you know what, now that you mention it, I spend so much time in there maybe I should get a job."

Teddy strides boldly across the Brooklyn street with Mary Jane toward the sandwich shop. "Oh yeah, I'm hungry as hell. I *was* gonna have pizza for lunch. Okay, my favorite go-to here is a Cubano *sandwich*..." He peers goofily at Mary Jane. "...*not* a cigar, and a cafe con leche. It's like a super-sweet Cuban latte and it is amazing!"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would laugh, "Well, a cubano's good. So go ahead and show me where? My treat. Thanks." The redhead would offer ehr arm over. "Since without you I'd be having to go back on the subway and hoping that I could find a vending machine with anything left in it or a food vendor."

She goes to let TEddy lead her along. "I don't get out to eat in the city as much as I really should. I'm missing out on a lot."

Teddy Altman has posed:
"Well trust me, I'm a poor college student. I know where all the good, cheap food is," Teddy quips as he leads Mary Jane into the little sandwich shop. From the street it looks like a straight-up dive, but inside it is warm and inviting and full of intense, amazing aromas.

"So do you work here in the city? Go to school? I'm curious as to what distracts someone from eating in a city known around the world for its food," Teddy asks curiously as he gets in line.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would grin, "Hey, I'm poor but I'm not a college studetn. So I just have crippling student loans serenading me whenever I so much as think of going to it. I look over an dthink 'ESU Drama School' and then I look up what tuition payments are and what I'm making on my living of 'Extra Girl #71 in Toothbrush Commerical' and shake my head."

Teddy Altman has posed:
Teddy goofily hold out a faux-scolding finger toward Mary Jane. "Hey, do NOT underestimate the importance of educating people about good oral hygiene! Remember, only floss the ones you want to keep!" But now it's their turn up at the counter.

"Hi," he says to the woman taking orders. "Can I please have a Cubano and a large cafe con leche." He grins broadly, eyes sparkling. "My new friend here is gonna pay!" He looks at Mary Jane waiting to see what she is going to order.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would pff, "Exactly. But I don't make enough from those to afford one of the free samples! But they do give out nice coffee. So something to be said for being able tos tay awake for the three days that have you walking back and forth while they film the same thirty seconds a thousand times over." She would grin.

"And the best kind of meal. A free one!" She would go to take out some bills to put ofrwards to cover the meal for teh two.

Teddy Altman has posed:
Teddy grabs the tray and carries it over to a table and sets it down. He has this old world kind of politeness to him despite his young age. He waits for Mary Jane to sit down before he does. "Hey, this was really cool of you to treat a stranger to lunch. Thank you."

He holds out a hand. "Name's Teddy Altman. It's really cool to meet you."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson woulds mile, "Mary Jane Watson. Pleasure to meet youa s well Teddy. Hope you haven't seen any bears in the neighborhood." The hand would be shook. "I mean Gotham had the news report about that scary Grizzly.."
