Location: Hall of Justice - New Troy
Synopsis: Finished
Cast of Characters: Xiomara Rojas, Clark Kent

Xiomara Rojas has posed:
The decision to call on Superman should not be a small one, for Crush however it was. He'd given her a phone number to reach the Justice League if she needed anything, but it wasn't a direct number to him. She wasn't patient enough to go through all the proper channels, so she decided to try a more direct approach.

Wandering into the main foyer she took the time to look around, note the size of the place and just how much of the public took the time to come by, but that three minutes of wasted time quickly ended as she reached the main desk.

"I'd like to talk to Superman," she states plainly yet politely to the receptionist. They probably get that request all the time from random people. This time might be different given Crush wasn't human, looked a lot like her father who was a known enemy of Superman, and of course her award winning smile.

Clark Kent has posed:
The receptionist.. well, the hologram being run by the Hall's A.I. to be honest, looks Crush over. The image is run through the database and comes back tagged Czarnian as well as linked to Lobo since he is one as well. Responses are parsed and discarded, ending up with the A.I. contacting Clark over his Justice League communicator while at the same time smiling as Crush and telling her, "I have contacted him for you, but he is not in the Hall at this moment, so please make yourself comfortable and he will be here shortly. Perhaps you would like to browse through our gift shop while you wait.

Meanwhile in the Daily Planet building Clark feels the JLA communicator vibrate in his pocket and locks his computer, standing up and heading for the door. One of the perks of being a well-known reporter is that you leave the building all the time at any given time. He heads into the parking garage, and a second later Superman rockets out the other side of the building, heading for the Hall. Glancing down at the text on the communicator, he decides this probably isn't an unfriendly visit, but it's still best he doesn't make Crush sit around for too long.

Xiomara Rojas has posed:
Crush hadn't expected Superman to just be hanging out at the hall, what sort of hero would be just lingering around? Then again, that was the whole reason for her visit, to learn more about that sort of thing because perhaps that's exactly what heroes did.

After the expected reply from the hologram, she had to ask, "You programmed to push the gift shop?"

No matter the answer, she shrugs and goes to look around while waiting. This was the part of the whole hero thing she had issues with, this flagrant 'showing off'. Sure, she liked to show off what she could do to others, like bending the steel beam for the construction team, but that was different than this. This was using their heroics to gain money, though how much she hated that idea was all based on what the money was used for.

"Wouldn't mind meeting Wonder Woman," she muttered to no one, more just a statement to the whole idea of the Justice League.

Clark Kent has posed:
It's only a moment's flight to reach the Hall, then Superman is drifting down into the lobby through a skylight that opened on his approach. Upon touching down, he looks around for Crush and heads over to her, offering a handshake once he's near her. "Nice to see you again. Why don't we head into one of our conference rooms, otherwise we will have a number of interruptions."

This statement speaks for itself as several tourists start gathering around them and taking pictures, mainly of him. He waves at a few of the picture-takers, but then steers Crush towards a closed door while saying "Thanks folks, nice to see you all, but I'm afraid I have something to take care of."

Once they are through the door, he heads down a hall and into a conference room. Waving at the chairs he tells Crush, "Take a seat if you like, this is a better place to talk."

Xiomara Rojas has posed:
Watching the man himself fly in and land, Crush can't help but smirk. He knows how to make an entrance alright.

She was about to say something in regards to the conference room when the flashes started going off. Most were of him, but who wouldn't take a moment to steal a couple pictures of the alien Superman is meeting with? Some in the know might even recognize her markings and link them to Lobo, as there are pictures of him /everywhere/ these days. Because of this, no words are needed she just glares at nothing in particular and heads in the direction he urges... moving rather quickly really.

Once inside she lets out her breath. She had kept her anger in check, harmed no one, and made it to safety... she was getting better at this. Looking over the chairs she picks on and settles into it. She hadn't actually expected Superman to show up. She thought she'd be told to leave a message and they'd arrange a time and place, all that fancy business like stuff... but there he was.

"I wonder how many of those pictures will end up on the internet," she mutters as she takes a deep breath and looks more toward him. "Hope I didn't interrupt anything important, I just... I don't trust leaving messages. I'm more of a 'in person' kinda person."

Clark Kent has posed:
Superman smiles and nods, saying "I understand, especially with those of us who are in the public eye so much. It's a lot easier to talk in person than to play phone tag while trying to catch someone." He settles into a chain, draping the famed red cape over the back of it so he's not sitting on the thing.

"So, what can I help you with today? I admit I was a little surprised that you had come looking for me, but I'm more than happy to help you with whatever you need." He gestures at a minifridge in the corner of the room, "Help yourself if you'd like something to drink, we try to keep everything stocked."
