Synopsis: Daisy and Matt have a quiet talk on a lazy Saturday morning.
Cast of Characters: Matthew Murdock, Daisy Johnson

Matthew Murdock has posed:
There's a change in warmth in the room that tells Matt the sun has come up enough to shine in through the open blinds into the apartment's bedroom. Though the warmth he's mostly interested in is the woman whose body rests against his own.

His arm curls about her, hand moving to her lower back as he leans his head over to rest his nose in the locks of Daisy's dark hair. Inhaling her scent is the best part of the morning. Particularly if she didn't come home from some all night SHIELD stakeout and just hop into bed. Showers are the best friend of someone with heightened senses, as she thankfully realizes!

Matt lets out a happy sigh, very content to just lie there. No cases to work today. A day he can spend with Daisy in leisure. That she found her way back into his life is still a blessing that the Catholic offers thanks for on a regular basis.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Weekend at last. It meant Daisy could sleep in. It meant she could be with the man she loved for longer than a kiss in the morning and a little at night. But such was the life they had chosen. One a lawyer moonlighting as Daredevil, the other an Agent of SHIELD. They made it work somehow, and these nights?

They made it all worth it.

Daisy senses Matt stirring. First with her senses, then with an eye that lazily opens up. She is half-atop Matt, one long leg curled with his, head against his shoulder and her soft breath against the skin there. Those locks were free from any binds too which meant they were left untamed down her body, at Matt's mercy.

"Morning..." It's a whisper, subvocal almost but those vibrations expand to easily reach Matt's ears, the feeling of fingertips around his waist squeezing quietly and she inhaling slowly.

It was indeed a blessed day, no matter that Daisy was an atheist. But sometimes even she felt there was a guiding hand somewhere helping them be happy.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
The touches draw a smile from Matt, and he nuzzles his lips and nose to Daisy's loose hair again. "Morning, beautiful," he whispers back to her softly. "Surely New York has a delivery service that will pick the lock and deliver to you in bed on a Saturday so we don't even have to get up?" he asks with a smile.

Matt's hand gently brushes up and down over Daisy's back as he snuggles with her. "You don't need to go save the planet from aliens, or giant lizardmen or anything today, do you?" he asks. "If not I think staying in today sounds like a very wonderful idea."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"I think we may have ..." Daisy's murmur is sleepy still. Because she isn't a morning person. She's more of a night person! Every reputable hacker is. If there's such a thing as a reputable hacker. Her head does raise just a touch and she speaks over to the closed door. "Boxer. Make us breakfast.." from other other side? Only a meow from their cat.

"Nope, don't think we are in luck.." a quirky little smile on her lips as she goes back to resting against Matt. Too lazy, won't move.

"Think I got saving a lawyer from work at 10am today on my agenda." She announces, "It may keep me busy all day." she then adds in that teasing manner of hers before she finally decides to move and climb up on Matt to place a kiss on his jaw.

"Yes, that means if Foggy calls he is talking to -me-."

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt Murdock gives a warm chuckle. He moves his lips down behind Daisy's ear, and then further to her throat. "No work for this lawyer today. I made sure to keep the schedule clear," he tells her.

Between more gentle nuzzles of his lips to her skin, Matt says, "Had a little... I'll call it an argument, with Foggy, but that really isn't accurate." He chuckles, suggesting it wasn't an upsetting one.

"There's a woman that worked with us at the first firm we started at out of college, before going on our own. She's... well, beautiful I guess. A bit of a shark. They used to see each other. And he... I'll be kind and say he went out on another date with her," Matt says.

The story is delayed as Matt adds a few soft kisses to the woman's neck. "Well, it mostly consistent of Foggy telling me what my objections must be, and cutting me off before I could reply to give the next part of the conversation, and the next. Until he left, flustered and embarrassed about it. It was all kind of cute in a way. Doesn't bother me like it does him. I mean, if nothing else, -he- is good for -her-."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"You always promise that but then ...." It's maybe not fair of Daisy to bring up that subject considering they both can be called at any moment. " .... which is why I am taking hold of your phone today." and that's a promise.

What if SHIELD calls her though? Ah well, will the world implode if she isn't there for ....-- She pauses and lets out a sigh. Yea, they would go without hesitation of they were called for an emergency. Such is their nature.

"Fine, I will keep it in silence mode." Their phones, that is. Which avails to nothing because they can sense the vibrations.

"An argument?" She arches a brow up at them and then grins, "Ooooh, I mean .., maybe she got better?" not as much a shark. "And does it mean Foggy just out-lawyered you?" she questions, winking back at Matt while appreciating the small kisses at her neck, arching her head over so he has ample access to it, and lots of choice too.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt Murdock laughs. "I think it was mostly Foggy's guilty conscious finding an outlet. Which I was happy to provide for him. He's been the closest friend I've had since soon after that day walking into the dorm room with him," he says, smiling at the memory.

Matt's hands continue a slow caress over his lover, if in a mainly PG fashion as he's happy soaking up the warm emotions of cuddling with her. "It'd be good if he found someone. Admittedly she might not be my first choice. But it could still be good for him in the long run. I won't be a Butt-insky," he promises.

His fingers brush up into Daisy's hair, sliding through the silken locks. "So has May ever decided if she approves of me, or am I in danger of a butt-kicking if I catch her in a bad mood?" he asks, voice mostly joking.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"What about Karen?" Daisy then inquires, eyes closing briefly as Matt continues his exploratory touches across her body which bring both a light flush to her skin but also a radiant smile to lips. "Thought there was something there or ..., it didn't pan out?" though from what Matt is talking about seems not. She does let out a sigh.

Hol' up.

"Did you just say ..., Butt-insky?" she shudders at it, "Ow..." that's a tone of disapproval, Matt. Yes, it is. "That hurts right here in my ..." another meow is heard from the outside. "See? Even Boxer disapproves..."

Et tu, Boxer?

Shifting the talk to May has Daisy quirk a brow, and also open her eyes. It means she gets to place a few kisses of her own alongside his collarbone, "I think we are always in danger of getting our butts kicked if we ever get in her bad side. BUT, so far she seems to be accepting. But if there's someone I can never get a good read on that's May. I think that's her superpower." she jokes.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt Murdock lets out a contented sigh. Silk sheets are just short of rough on his skin, but those soft kisses seem exempt from the downsides of his heightened senses. He chuckles at Daisy's objection to his phrasing. "Someone isn't getting extra milk in his bowl," he says towards the doorway as he laughs.

"She's kind of like your mother in a way, at least in terms of who a boyfriend should fear," Matt says, deep voice light-hearted in tone. He brushes his fingers along Daisy's scalp, fingernails light upon her head.

"She probably has all the superpowers, just doesn't let on," he jokes. "I'm glad knowing she's on your side when you go out in the field. Capable though you are," he says to Daisy.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Talking about Jiaying has the very clear reaction of having Daisy's body tense up a notch. It was all still very much on the skin even if she had met and made peace with her mother over an year ago. "Yes, she is someone that many fear..." some hesitation to her voice, "We should go visit her again soon. She's been busy in getting new afterlife running and I ...." had she been avoiding her? She wasn't sure.

"We will figure something out." Another kiss on Matt's jaw and she just sprawls atop him.

"But yea, that's something I can always count on about May. Always on my side. Even if sometimes I need to get a little beating around to figure out what the right side is, mmm?" she does feel comfy now atop Matt though so of course she teases him.

"This feels like the right side at the moment though." a wink.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt makes a quiet, contented rumble. "Yes, glad that she turned you from your wicked ways," he teases. He slides both arms fully around Daisy, drawing her body in against his in a tight hug.

He looks over into Daisy's eyes, one hand moving to brush gently alongside one of the pretty orbs. "Yes, it definitely feels right," he tells her, if not meaning it exactly the same ways he did. He lets out a sigh and long moments pass as he kisses the woman he loves. Letting his embrace and his lips convey his emotions to her more eloquently than any words could.
