Date of Scene: 14 September 2022
Location: Basement Apartment
Synopsis: Micola and Pietro go for an evening walk and talk about some things.
Cast of Characters: Micola Maximoff, Pietro Maximoff

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola had been busy with catching up on work. Not to mention she was also trying to juggle preliminary bridal things. Her side was healing well and her doctors had told her that she could go back to everyday life as it was before the kidnapping had happened. She was still a bit skittish at night, but nothing that they couldn't handle.

She'd excused herself to do dishes, but she'd returned wearing tennis shoes, "Pietro? Do you want to go for a walk with me?" she calls.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
He'd been concerned with the healing up - always wanting to make sure she wasn't overdoing things. He did love her, after all! Once she was given the clear to resume normal activities, he was far happier. The skittishness was understandable, the man often making sure he was present to help with those jitters.

As he looked over to her, and her tennis shoes, he smiles. Rising to his feet, he nodded to her. "I would love to. As far as you like... and if you get tired, I can carry you back." He chuckles, offering his hand over to her. "Got a path you'd like to take?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola gives a grin when Pietro agrees to go on a walk with her and there is a nod to him, "Thank you darling." she tells him. "Hopefully we won't get too tired. I have plans for when we get home." she gives him a wink. She reaches out to take his hand and gives it a warm squeeze.

"I was figuring we could just take the usual route. Maybe stop and see if anyone is still open on the pier at this hour since everyone is dreading Autumn's approach." she muses. "Any path you would like to take?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
There's a shake of his head. "Nothing stands out to me for a specific path. I just want to enjoy the evening with you." A grin. "Maybe peek in on some of the shops?" Pietro guesses. "I'm happy to carry any shopping home with us..."

"And plans for us? Are you plotting, or just eager to relax and enjoy the comfort of home with me?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Once they are out of the apartment she gives a soft smile to him, "I think we can look into the shops and things, yes." she nods to that. "I don't mind doing a little window shopping." she tells him. "You don't have to carry everything, either." she whispers to him.

When he asks about plans for them there is a bit of an impish light that comes to her eyes, "I was thinking we could go home, shower and see where the night leads us." she murmurs to him as she snuggles into his side as they walk. She places a soft kiss to his cheek and then quiets as they walk.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
Pietro gives a grin at the revealed plans. "I think I like that plan..." He says, returning a kiss to her cheek. He walks with her, hand laced with hers. "Window shopping and all, I am just happy to spend time with you." He murmurs.

He keeps his pace with hers, not rushing or anything. He doesn't want her overdoing it, or rushing through the lovely evening. "How is your mother holding up with all the planning?" He teases her, good-naturedly.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"I figured you would." Micola tells him with a warm smile. "I know I've been busy the last few weeks and I apologize for that." she comments after a moment. "I was going to see how you felt about meeting my grandfather in the next coming weeks?" she asks him. "I know I haven't gotten to introduce the two of you so that is something I'd like to remedy." she smiles to him.

"Mom is doing well. She's worried about what to wear and things of that nature, but I told her we'd get together and go through all those little details soon." she grins to that. "How are you holding up with things?" she asks him with a smile.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
He pauses, looking to her. "I don't ever want you to apologize for healing, love. You needed the rest, you needed to mend." He assures, leaning in to kiss her gently. Pietro gives her a grin. "I'd like to meet him, of course." A slight chuckle. "He's your family, and as I understand, very fond of you. I'd hate to upset him by not meeting him." A nod.

"For your mother, we can also arrange for a dress or outfit for her, if she likes?" He suggests. "I am happy to budget that in." The man nods, pointing out a few items in the windows of one of the shops. "Doing well, Janet wants to design our attire - we need to meet up with her, or she'll never forgive me."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola gives him a bit of a look and then reaches out to brush her fingers over his jaw, "It's things besides the healing as well. I just wanted you to know that I missed you when I was working." she tells him with a soft smile. Then there is a laugh, "I don't think he'd be upset, but he'd definitely interrupt a wedding if he wasn't invited or talked to prior." she giggles at that.

"I think my mom would love that and I can help pay for things as well, since it is our wedding." she points out. "I'm happy to meet with her whenever you want to set that up." she admits. Then she's looking at things in the antique stores window, "Ooo, they have some neat things." she points out a few of the old shelves and chairs.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
The man leans into her touch, always happy for the contact. "Fair. I just don't want you thinking I was upset at things, or with you at all." Pietro clarifies. An amused laugh. "I would rather avoid that. I imagine Lorna and Wanda might take umbrage." Not to mention him!

"I will arrange for it, then. We can talk to Janet too on that." A smile. "And we will sort out finances, later. Avengers has a decent paycheck." The man teases. Looking in on the antiques, he smiles. "Would you like to go in? See what items are about with stories to tell?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"I just think it's important to meet him before the wedding, so there aren't any surprises." Micola tells him with a warm smile. "And I don't think you'd be upset with me over that. I know you'd be upset if I wasn't taking my healing seriously." she points out. "And yes, I do not want my future sister-in-laws mad at my grandfather." she chuckles at that.

"Thank you for doing that. I know you've got a ton of stuff on your plate as well." she nods to him. "I'd imagine that they do pay you well given the life or death situations that come up." she muses at that. "Are they open? I know it's rather late." she contemplates this as she looks for a sign with posted hours. "We could always come back tomorrow or another day." she adds.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"It is. He is a big part of your life, Micola." Pietro agrees, looking into the window to see if anyone is about, before looking back to her. "I would have been very upset if you over-exerted yourself and didn't mend up." He smirks. "I am sure they will get along with him just fine, of course. And your mother."

"Of course, I want to make this the best day for us. The beautiful event that it should be, right?" A nod. "They pay well enough for what I need in life. I'm no Tony Stark, of course." He snickers. "I think they are open - but we can come back tomorrow if you'd rather?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola gives a look to him and she's about to say something, but she rethinks it, "He is, yes." she tells him. "I think you will. And my mother just adores you already." she grins at that. "I think the day will go very well." she grins at that.

"I think I'd be fine going in, things at home can wait." she grins to him as she heads for the door.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
He can recognize that look. "One day you'll tell me what you want to say." Pietro assures her, after her pause. Brief for her, he is able to study her expression in those breaths with time to spare. "Your mother is quite the good woman - looking past my faults." He winks. "It will be an amazing day." Quicksilver assures.

"In we go, then. Find something that matches your style and has a good story. Spruce up the home a bit, yeah?" He opens the door for her, following her in.
