Micola Lykaois is a Greek and Italian American living in New York City. She owns a small tattoo studio named 'Hunter's Moon'. She is rumored to be a child of the Lykaois crime family, but she doesn't have a criminal record. Oh. She's also a Mutant.

Timeline

Timeline:
1994: Born in New York to Italian born Ariadne D'Angelo and Greek born Arsen Lykaois.
1995: Full custody given to Ariadne due to Arsen's ties to the Italian and Greek crime circles (IE The Mafia).
1996: Ariadne is made aware of a trust account for Micola if she will keep the baby's last name Lykaois. She agrees to do this.
1999: Starts to manifest odd 'powers'. Tells her mother of a dream she had of her maternal grandmother dying and her 'leading' her to safety (the Underworld).
1999: Two weeks later Ariadne's mother passes while she is babysitting Micola. Micola is found with her body, but seems to be unbothered by the situation.
2000: Micola's starts to see ghosts. She is able to interact, speak and control them. Though the control is faulty given her age.
2001: Another death happens that Micola 'prophesied'. Police talk to the young girl to see if she is in any way linked to it given her grandmother's passing, but find that she's not involved. Just had bad luck.
2005: Micola's mother starts to think that she and Micola are being haunted. Which is not far off given the girls ability to 'shepherd' souls to the underworld.
2005: After an illness and a complex blood work up it is discovered that Micola carries an X-gene.
2006: Micola's grandfather on the Lykaois side arranges to start seeing Micola. He sets up for her to take Falconry lessons given her love of owls.
2007: Ariadne tells Grandpa Lykaois of Micola's 'gift' and about her X-gene.
2008: Micola is given the vision of the school bully dying. She tries her best to warn the boy and others, but she is pulled from school as a behavior problem. He died a few days later. The school board asked Micola's mother to start homeschooling her.
2008: Grandpa starts paying for her to attend a private school.
2010: Graduates High School and makes good enough grades for a college scholarship.
2011: Starts College at Cornell for Latin and Ancient Greek Studies.
2012: Micola starts to go through newspaper obituaries, seeing if any of her visions match with the description of the people.
2012: In one murder story that she reads she realizes that it is one of her vision subjects. When she visits the place where the murder happened she is able to recreate the scene, but to her own detriment. She awakes from her vision in the hospital.
2013: Starts pencil and sketch drawings, realizes that she's pretty good at it and continues.
2014: Starts a tattoo apprenticeship.
2014: Continues to receive visions of people dying. Is more able to act as a guide to them when they do pass on.
2015: Graduates college and starts working at the tattoo parlor full time.
2017: Continues to work with the dead and the living. She spends time in Mutant Town with assisting people there and keeping track of the younger mutants.
2017: Micola stumbles across the ghost of a homeless woman that was brutally murdered. She recreates her death throw for NYPD and is able to point out a suspect. This causes the NYPD to have her come in and consult when they hit dead ends.
2018: Her grandfather on the Lykaois side amusingly nicknames her 'Charon' after he has a heart attack on her birthday trip to Greece.
2022: Starts up her own small tattoo shop with money she has saved.

Personality

Benevolent:
Micola has never been a mean person. She usually is very kind in her speech and in her dealings with people even if they are being unkind to her.

Educated:
Micola doesn't look the part, but she is well educated. Which surprises some people. She could be working in a museum or working on further education, but she runs a tattoo parlor. Some say it is a waste of a good education, but she doesn't think it is.

Quirky:
From her bright head of hair to her tattoos it is easy to tell that Micola is a bit quirky. It goes beyond her physical appearance. Her work is as a tattoo artist, her Falconry hobby or her complete obsession with Ancient Greece helps with her being a bit of a stand out in the quirks department.

Astral Travel:
Micola's power to send her consciousness into the Astral developed in a pretty harrowing situation with a serial killer named The Drowned Man. The power had flickered on in the past, but was not reliable until the stress she went under. She can send one other consciousness into the Astral as well that she has a connection to. She can't send a random person into the realm.

Death Recreation:
Micola can relive the moment of a ghosts death over and over again, possibly even endlessly if she gets stuck in a loop, by recreating the moment of their death from either the past or present. She can't relive deaths that happen in the future at all and any death recreation that is more than ten years old is sometimes faulty or details are able to be missed.

On the flip side, Micola is also able to use this to make the ghost relive their own death, which is fairly cruel if you ask her.

Micola usually is the only one that views this recreation, but if someone touches her while she is recreating it can drag them into the scene, which is a bit hazardous to their mental well being.

Death's Perception:
Micola's Mutant power is a limited precognitive ability to discern the nature of a person's death. Such visions, when they occur at all, have a high degree of accuracy. She rarely misinterprets the foreseeable future of one persons life. Obviously this might occur when someone can return from death, but she does not know that when seeing them die. She does not know the day or the time of these deaths. Just the person involved and the manner.

Ectomancy:
Micola is skilled in Ectomancy. It gives her the tools to speak and interact with the dead. Even allowing her to control them or persuade them to a certain degree. If it would involve the ghost hurting themselves though is hard to get them to do, plus Micola doesn't want to force anyone into something they don't want to do.

Psychopomp:
The story of how Micola became a Psychopomp is something she does not and cannot speak of. It is something that one would need to experience for themselves and well, they wouldn't be able to tell others either. What is known is that she is one of the beings that helps souls cross from one realm to the next and to do it safely. Which means that Micola protects the souls that she helps cross no matter what.

Ancient Greece:
Micola started to dig into her heritage when she met her grandfather given he was born in Athens and she wanted to feel closer to him. In this she realized a love for Ancient Greek and Latin history and culture. It is what she ended up going to college for in the end of things. Which made her grandfather proud.

Basic Self Defense:
Micola has taken self defense classes that were offered at College. She is not a martial artist or a bad ass, she just knows how to get out of things if absolutely necessary. If things get really dicey she'll just pull out a baseball bat.

Death Practices:
Micola is a bit obsessed with death and has studied many a cultures death practices and their ways of laying the spirits of the dead and ghosts to rest. She's uses these studies and practices to help her with her work as Charon.

Falconry:
When Micola was little and she was introduced to her Fraternal Grandfather she expressed her love of owls. Doing what any rich grandfather would do he started to pay for her to have Falconry lessons. It is something that she took to and loved. She has worked with other birds of prey and raptors but she loves her owls the most.

Forsenic's Amateur:
Micola has taken to learning more about Forensics given her ties to the NYPD and she likes their current Forensics team. Even if a few of them think she is the weirdest thing that has walked into their offices. She works well with a team and she tries to do her best to not step on their toes. She has been wanting to get a few Forensic classes, but that involves free cash which she needs to save up.

Guitars:
Micola's Freshman year of high school she started to teach herself how to play the accoustic guitar and then moved on to the Electric. She saved up every cent she could to buy herself a guitar that she found at a pawn shop when she was in college and still carries it with her. She's been saving for a new one, but she's not been wanting to spend that much money on herself.

Languages:
Micola has learned how to speak and write in Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, Italian and Latin in College due to her Major.

Tattoo Artist:
Micola started a tattoo apprenticeship many years ago that ended earlier in 2022 due to her being released from her apprenticeship and being able to branch out on her own. She is very good at what she does, but she's not one of the best in the world. She has a love of black and white shading and bright neon tattoos and has a specialty in memorial tattoos.

Volunteering:
Micola has worked with the homeless youths of New York City for the past five years. She volunteers time to make care packages and to check in with the local homeless population. If she had more income she would do more, but right now she does her best. She's been helping homeless mutants the last few years with finding work and or assistance where they can.

Clotho:
Clotho is a Little Screech Owl that Micola has worked with for a few years now and sometimes has with her given she does volunteer work with her. She helped with Clotho's rearing and trained with her after she was old enough to partake in the training. Clotho is best described as a 'toasted marshmallow of hate' given she tends to attack anyone that isn't Micola, but they are working on Clo's temperment with trying to socialize her more.

Falconry License:
Micola has her Falconry License and due to New York law for Falconers she does keep a hunting license along with it since you have to have it in New York. She makes sure to keep them both up to date.

Genosha:
Micola married Pietro and he's a Prince of Genosha, which makes her a Princess in that right. She's new to all of this, just like Genosha is new. So more will be added as we go along!

Grandpa Lykaois:
Dimitris Lykaois is Micola's paternal grandfather and one of the biggest influences in her life. The man seems to be trying to make up for mistakes made with his son, Arsen, who is Micola's father. Dimitris doesn't hand his grandchild loads of cash, but he supports her in her endeavors. Helping with paying for her falconry lisences and things of that nature. Micola has never asked him to pay for things, which he appreciates given his other grandchildren are spoiled brats. Micola is the only one that he's truly had a connection with and that means that he's more likely to aid her if she needs it.

Hunter's Moon Tattoo:
Micola managed to score a deal with a foreclosure auction on a small business space. She managed to get a small business loan to fix up the place. There is a basement apartment that she's moved into. It saves money and she's never been bothered even if it is in a rougher part of town. The upstairs has been turned into a small tattoo parlor that was opened on January 1st of 2022.

Mutant Town Contacts:
Micola has spent a lot of time in Mutant Town and other areas where Mutant's gather in New York City given she's wanted to try to learn more about her fellows. She's kind of hard to miss and even with her anxieties she tries to meet new people. She helps out with the homeless around there, offering food, care packages and sometimes a place to stay if they are having a slow night at the tattoo parlor. In turn she's able to ask about the goings on or get information on certain things that have went on.

Nypd Consultant:
Micola's a consultant for the NYPD when they have murders that they cannot solve. She cannot always help, but her abilities are able to speak with ghosts if they are around and closing a case is closing a case. They do not like bringing her in, but high profile murders sometimes lead to drastic measures being brought in and used.

Pietro Maximoff:
Micola's husband is Pietro Maximoff. Pietro has had to deal with her almost being killed once and he's a bit protective over her. She can call on him if she needs him.

Tattoo License:
Micola has a Tattoo License as it is the law in New York city. She has taken the proper courses for getting it.

Anxiety:
Micola suffers from Anxiety. It stems mostly from her mutant powers and not knowing when or where she will receive another vision of someone dying. And she has seen a lot in her short time on this rock.

Crime Family:
Lykaois is not a small time crime name, her father and grandfather are connected to the Italian and Greek mafia in New York and other states. There are people that have learned of her existence through her grandfather's trips to see her and have that ace in the hole. Should either of them do something stupid.

Death Obsession:
If Micola is given a vision of a death she will run herself ragged trying to find the person. Generally she finds them after they are already dead. Which means that she has to search through Obituaries and other sources. It is overwhelming for even her closest friends and her mother.

Ghost Harassment:
Micola can see Ghosts and Spirits at all times. This takes a toll on her psyche. Not to mention it takes a toll when they realize that someone can interact and understand them. She has been stalked by ghosts before and harassed by darker spirits.

Grandpa Lykaois:
Her grandfather is a bit of a double edged sword for her. She wants to make him happy. But she also doesn't want to upset him. If anything ever happened to him it would be a big hit to her mentally, physically and emotionally given their relationship is so close.

Pietro Maximoff:
While Pietro is a resource, he is also a weakness. Micola loves her husband and is quick to try to protect him if things go south. That means she's willing to get in trouble or injured for him.

Stands Out:
Micola is not a master of stealth and with her looks she is someone that stands out. Which means it is easy for people to get track of her if they wish. Given she spends time in Mutant Town and other pro-mutant places it's probably safe to say she's on someones 'list'.
