Sprite has posed:
Thursday Evening, and Sprite comes whipping into Mercy's parking lot, the brief squeal of tires as she swings the car around. She revs the engine a couple times, and then hits the horn.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
The shop has long been closed and Mercy was in her home. The thing about being a coyote shifter means good ears. Being a mechanic means you really learn engine sounds, and only ONE engine has that sound. She knows because she BUILT it. The book she was reading gets a page folded and dropped. Medae hugs in protest as Mercy in her jeans and a tee shirt that reads 'Trust me, I get weirder the longer you know me' on it comes out of her home to jump from the top stairs to the bottom and lands easily. Her hair is in the usual braid and since it's long enough after work her hands are even clean. "Hey girls!" Calling out as she looks to see how the car is doing even as she approaches Chryss and Sprite.

Sprite has posed:
Sprite looks over to Mercy, and lifts up the sunglasses on her face to rest them atop her head. "Get in, loser. We're going shopping." She gives the movie quote, with a grin, as she looks to Mercy.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy normally would go for more of her things. But her house is set to lock and the cat door can let her in even if she 'locked' herself out. There's a half second of debate, a shrug and then the door to the performance care is opened. "You two been taking care of each other?" Running a hand affectionately on the dash. It's not clear if she's asking Sprite or the car that question even as she starts to belt in and close the door.

Sprite has posed:
Sprite grins, and Chryss replies "As best I can. She's high maintenance." Sprite looks amused. "I'm bored, and that's always a dangerous situation. I want to go somewhere and do something fun. So inspire me. Tell me something you've always wanted to do and haven't."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
The answer from the car is about what she expected as Mercy smiles. "Oh can't have the ancient trickster bored," laughs Mercy as she wiggles into the seats. "Oh if you want my dreams to inspire you we may be in trouble, Sprite." She thinks as best she can as to what to do. "Well I kind of thought it be cool to visit Europe some day. But in more realistic guesses I think," she starts to stammer. Trying to find an idea that she thinks would work.

Sprite has posed:
"It is dangerous. Europe! No, Europe's do-able. Name me a country. Pick a place!" She sounds excited. She raises her right hand off the wheel, and with a sparkle of golden fractal light, an impressive-looking dagger appears.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Or you'll stab the car," asks Mercy looking a bit concerned. Not thinking that Sprite sis threatening her. She thinks and says, "I don't know! Why not hit up Gotham, or like Atlantic City? I still got a little money for penny slots or a few hands of blackjack. I'd love to get one of those steaks they say taste so good. You know the ones that cost an hour of my labor?"

Sprite has posed:
"No, I'm not going to stab my car!" Sprite sounds annoyed. "Pick a country, like I said. Gotham's boring. Anyone can do Gotham. YOU could get to Gotham in a couple hours of driving. That's nothing impressive."
She sounds a little huffy. "Here I am trying to do something cool."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"I don't know what you can do, Sprite!" Mercy tries to defend and says, "I'm an American girl. I mean if you wanna go somewhere wild what about like Austrlia Gold Coast? Is that what you want? I like warm. I haven't been to a clean beach in forever!" Mercy motions out their window. "Just not Egypt."

Sprite has posed:
Sprite laughs. "I can do ANYTHING." she says, winking. "Haven't you learned that by now? I can do a beach. Australia, Gold Coast?" she asks, looking amused, as she spins the dagger once.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Yeah but I don't like hanging out with you for what you can do for me Sprite. I like that your smart, that you appreciate Chryss. I like the history you lived and done." She has no idea how a dagger is going to get them to Auastralia, "You realize I have like never been out of the U.S. before right?" A small nervous laugh as clearly something is going to happen.

Sprite has posed:
"That's fine." Sprite says, eyes fixed ahead, as she points the dagger forward. A golden gleam appears in the air, and with a loud BOOM!!! it explodes into a tunnel of rippling light. Sprite grins, and then /floors it/, as the car leaps forward, racing towards the tunnel.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
THAT was not something Mercy was ready for. She gives a pained almost yip and covers her ears. Her eyes stay open as she looks at the light and asks, "She done this before Chryss?!" Shouting because her ears are ringing. She should check the tires and air filter, maybe the suspension. "What are you doing Sprite?"

Sprite has posed:
Chryss replies "No!!" And then the car zips into the tunnel of light. There's multi-colored clouds of light along the sides of the tunnel, but they're only in it for an instant, and then out into...a road, bright and sunny outside. Warmer. Mercy smiles as she looks over. "See, new experiences all around." She takes a quick turn into a parking lot...along the beach.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy's senses are trying to deal with this whole thing. Her eyes blinking as they are suddenly in the sun and she looks around. "You can say that again. Are we really in Australia?" She looks out and the coyote that was used to the night with her sharp eyes is rubbing them some. "I'm almost in like sensorium shock, Sprite." Though that doesn't stop her from smiling some as well.

Sprite has posed:
"That's the best thing about my powers...you never really know, do you?" The impish redhead says coyly, lets it hang a beat, then says "We are, though, yes."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"I could ask Chryss if her GPS can figure it out," not sure if that would be fooled or not. Mercy seems to be recovering for a bit as she looks about and then down to her outfit as she says, "So we're in Oz, todo. Do we go to the beach or do we go to the city to have fun."

Sprite has posed:
"You said beach. I was promised a beach. Come on, we can go surf!" Sprite turns off her car, and moves to get out of the car. As she does, her clothing ripples gold and then she's in a green bikini. "Let's go!"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy is having some hella weird vertigo as she gets out of the car she helped to build. "What? Is this.... like before?" Her eyes try to look around and figure out what is going on. "Sprite what was with the supersonic boom and acid trip?"

Sprite has posed:
Sprite stops, annoyed. She closes her eyes, and in a golden sparkle, Mercy's attire changes into a white bikini. "THAT was us going to Australia." she explains. "You asked to go to Australia, so we did."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy follows along and is still trying process this. She steps up to Spring and glad her clothes fit better. Though she feels a bit exposed. She's body shy and suspects there are a lot of people who notice the car and two bikini clad women. "Not meaning to trip you up." She gives a shake of her head and to give her hands something to do she undoes the braid in her hair, fingers combing it some. "The... teleport really stunned me a bit there." She seems to be recovering though. Her NOSE is going into overdrive with all the new smells.

Sprite has posed:
"Sorry." Sprite actually does sound a little apologetic. "ACTUALLY teleporting is a pain in the ass. You have to break yourself down on the molecular level, and then you have to keep track of all the molecules." As one does. "So it's a lot easier to use a boom tube. Especially if I'm taking anyone with me. I mean, we could have flown, but that would have taken HOURS."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"So you.... Even Horizon'd us to Australia?" Mercy clearly impressed, and only spares one last glance to the car hoping she'll be okay in the sun. She really has longer hair then Sprite is used to seeing, because her hair is thick and now unbraided it hangs longer. But it won't be their long as Mercy tries to start redoing the braids into a single thick long one. She looks back at her own ass, "Man my scars are going to show."

Sprite has posed:
Sprite looks curious. "What is an Even Horizon?" she asks, interested. "But yes, I teleported us to Australia. You asked to go to Australia, and I haven't gone surfing in at least a couple decades."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"A horror movie I watched in collage. Guy makes an engine that folds space to travel. The first ship that goes out accidentally goes through hell. Or just drove everyone mad. It was a weird movie." Mercy laughs some as she moves to link an arm with Sprite. "I have never gone surfing. I've only seen the ocean near New York, and that isn't so clean or nice."

Sprite has posed:
Sprite blinks a little. "How have...oh, yeah. You're from New York. Never been out to the west coast?" she asks, curiously. "And I can show you the basics. You should do fine. It's mostly core strength and balance."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"My mother has sort of moved out to Washington State. She loves it but I have not visited yet. I grew up in nowhere Montana. I image you would have hated it." Mercy stays walking with Sprite as they go to the beach. "The smells are so different. I feel I may pass out by breathing too hard or fast." She isn't going to ask how they'll buy or get surfboards.

Sprite has posed:
Sprite grins a little. "SO much stuff I'll have to teach you. Also, make sure you get a Timtam before we leave." She starts to head over. There's a surf shop on the beach, of course.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy asks, "What's a Timtam?" Because that name could be anything. Food, pair of shoes, a drink, an Aussie slang for something totally unrelated. Mercy turns around in a full circle as she looks around and follows the smell of Sprite. "So much salt everywhere." She notices her coloration makes her stand out a bit. She looks up at the surf shop.

Sprite has posed:
Sprite walks into the surf shop, and starts talking to the local behind the counter, with a flawless accent. "G'day, mate. How're you goin'?" He gives her a nod and greeting back. "It's yer lucky day. My Yank friend here's never been surfing. So we're gonna need it all. Boards, wax, bags, togs, fins, thongs, all of it." She waves a credit card. "Hope y' work on commission." she says with a grin.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
That makes Mercy blink as she hovers near the door. When she's pointed to, "Hello," she greets. Then frowns "I'm already wearing a thong practically?" Tugging at her bottom lightly at the hip"

Sprite has posed:
That gets a laugh from both of them. Sprite eyes Mercy's feet a moment, and walks over to a rack, grabbing a pair. "Thongs." She tosses them at Mercy.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
She looks at the shoes then it rings. "Oh1," her skin darkening a bit. "Sorry. Thong is a type of panty or swimsuit for me. We call those flipflops or sandals." She'll see if they fit about getting them on." Mercy didn't expect a language barrier HERE.

Sprite has posed:
Sprite's visual sizing was pretty close, and thongs are pretty forgiving in size. The guy helps them starting to assemble everything Sprite asked for, occasionally asking Sprite for info, and then getting all the purchases together. Sprite taps her card at the machine, then smiles. "All right. You get to carry things."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy continues to look over the items and will start to gather them all up. Things are happening fast enough that Mercy forgets to hide how fit or strong she is actually. "So now what and do we change somewhere?"

Sprite has posed:
"Yeah, now we get our wetsuits on." She nods over to one of the public changing areas, and drops the Aussie accent. "So let's go get changed."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy looks over and tries to not wrinkle her nose. "Man those kind of place are always interesting." She suddenly looks a LOT more grateful for the shows. She will get ready to step in and see if there is room for two in there or not.

Sprite has posed:
They're pretty good in here. The two can get changed out of bikinis and into wetsuits; it's a reasonably simple process. Sprite gets the suit on, gets most of the rest of her stuff in her bag.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
These places can often draw a lot of young people looking to have a quicky, or homeless to use it as a place to rest. She will start to change and get on all the new stuff as well, snapping off the tags when she finds them.
