Synopsis:	Kori and Karolina sip drinks and snuggle by the pool!

Koriand'r has posed:
A nice afternoon, a little time at the Tower and Kori was enjoying some downtime. Her form wrapped in in a deep purple swimsuit, she soaked in the waters of the pool, a soft sigh of delight as she lounged before closing her eyes. No call-outs, no modelling job, just soem time to enjoy themselves.

Karolina Dean has posed:
    "Drinks are up~" comes a sunny voice from the elevator as it opens. Karolina steps out, the sunlight washing over her as she disembarks, suddenly shining like a prismatic beacon on top of the tower. In each hand she's carrying a tall glass carefully layered with a rainbow of colors and a mix of pineapple, citrus, and even strawberries adorning the rim. The bright blonde grins down at the woman in the pool, and Karolina herself is clad in a prismatic pareo wrapped around her long legs, the rest of her in a wrap-like two-piece covering her up, feet bare. "Here's hoping that course I took abroad bore fruit, mm?" she says playfully.

Eyes open, the orange-skinned alien princess smiles, rolling over from the edge to lean with her arms on the rim of the pool and looking up at the blonde girl. "Looking lovely!" she teases lightly before reaching up to retrieve the offered glass and giggling lightly. "This looks good too." Playfully beaming, Kori takes a small sip for herself, eyes closing in delight at the taste. "This is wonderful Karolina. It seems fruit has been bared!"

Karolina Dean has posed:
    The other girl beams before suppressing her powers some, turning down the bright lights and sitting down at the edge of the pool. Her feet dip into the water, toenails painted a rainbow of colors. Her own glass is cradled in both hands, "Do you like it? I always go overseas for the summer and take classes elsewhere. On a lark I took up some 'mixology' as they call it. There's a whole lot of great ways to prepare fruits in drinking, and... I just turned 21 back in July, so I figured it would be a *perfect* opportunity!" She kicks her legs just a little with excitement, then takes a drink. It's a heady mix of fruity liquers, sweet and not terribly potent.

Koriand'r has posed:
Given the latent flamelike glow that could often turn up in her hair, the brightness didn't really seem to bother Koriand'r, instead the alien nods her head lightly and instead makes to sip again, absently bumping her arm against the other woman's outer thigh. "I am glad you have come back Karolina, I missed you!"

Karolina Dean has posed:
    Karolina doesn't at all seem to mind the bump, instead smiling at the warm contact. "I don't know, it seems like you've had no trouble hitting me now that I'm here..." she gives a playful wink. "But thank you, Kori. It's good to be back. New York is my home, after all. And all of my friends are here, too," she smiles, then leans back, staring up at the sky. "The sun hits different when you're home, you know...?"

Koriand'r has posed:
"I do," Kori nods, sipping her drink. "When I went out to the stars, back towards Tamoran, it was different...but this has become my home. With my friends and loved ones in the tower." A beat, she sips her drink lightly. "Then again, it -is- a different sun over there so..."

Karolina Dean has posed:
    As Starfire speaks, Karolina adjust her position, moving to sort of put her legs on either side of Kori's shoulders where she sits. She smiles down at the sunny redhead, "I don't know what the light of another star feels like. Not... consciously anyway... the others are too far away to really feel, you know? But I'd like to. I'd like to feel what it's like..." she says with a laugh. "For now, though, I'm glad I can share the sun with you here. Before it gets all cloudy and snowy..." she shivers theatrically.

Koriand'r has posed:
"You will have to come with me one day," Kori offers lightly, her face looking up at Karolina and a lazy little kiss placed on the inner thigh before she turned and leant back, her back now pressed to the pool edge rather than her bust. Looking up at Karolina she ponders, biting her bottom lip. "Or perhaps if it gets cold enough we can simply take a flight elsewhere!"

Karolina Dean has posed:
    A hint of crimson alights on the blonde's cheeks when she feels that little kiss. She puts her glass aside, having sipped perhaps a fifth of it during the chatter, and slips her arms around Kori's shoulders. She bumps the orange princess's nose with her own and continues to smile, "You might be able to take your business anywhere, but I have classes... though..." she considers. "I could take some of them remotely? Agricultural studies in another part of the world where things are actually in a growing season couldn't hurt... but we'd have to come back if our friends need us!"

Koriand'r has posed:
"A holiday for the future to dream of," she muses, sipping a little with a light sigh of delight before sheleans back against Karolina's pelvis and indead just basking in the water. "Even heroes are entitled to a holiday after all."

Karolina Dean has posed:
    "Heroes..." she says with a quiet laugh, idly rubbing Kori's shoulders. "I'm not a hero. I just try to help out where I can and when I can. But the Titans can always give me a call if they need something done..." she wiggles her toes in the water and smiles up at the sky. "That includes you too, for that matter, Kori! Thank you." She very carefully hugs her arms around the other woman's head, giving her a rather awkwardly positioned hug.

Koriand'r has posed:
A little shift, Kori leans into the hug, one of her arms looping a little around the girl's leg and another gulp positively inhaling the rest of her drink before she took a piece of the fruit into her mouth, a little giggle given in return and a nod of fond appreciation offered.

Karolina Dean has posed:
    The hug is held for a few moments more, especially as it's returned so wonderfully. Then she giggles and sits up, taking her drink again and sipping slowly. "Hey! Kori. Do you... have any plans for Halloween?" she asks, biting her lip. "I don't know if you celebrate it but..." she wiggles her feet, "...I always liked it as a kid... do you want to do something? Maybe with the others? Or just us...? Or... ah, I'm sorry, I'm rambling..." she gives a surprisingly bashful laugh.

Koriand'r has posed:
"I celebrate all the festivals that I can with you all," Kori offers after she finishes the fruit and then nods her head. "I would love to! We should make plans to celebrate together, with the others too or just something fun for us. Perhaps we can do the dinner and clubbing, or a party here in the tower!"

Karolina Dean has posed:
    Karolina nods rapidly, "...either or! Either or..." she muses. "I just. I'm not usually someone who costumes up, you know? So the idea seems.. novel to me, but I know a lot of the other Titans..." she fidgets a little with a piece of pineapple before eating it. "Would they think it's too childish or silly? Maybe the two of us should do something, together. You'd be a very... very sexy witch.." she muses, that red tint returning to her cheeks.

Koriand'r has posed:
"Does it matter?" she questions before turning once more, lifting herself up a little (likely by a little flight) so she was waist-level with Karolina's own hips. "If it is for us...but I'm sure they'd love it too, I'd bet on it." A grin at the complement, she leans in, kissing Karolina's cheek.

Karolina Dean has posed:
    "I... suppose it doesn't..." Karolina considers. She blinks when the other woman lifts herself up but she does continue to smile. "Still. I like... the idea of doing something just the two of us, too, you know?" she fidgets a little, nibbling on another piece of fruit as she feels the warmth in her cheeks magnified by that kiss.

Koriand'r has posed:
"Then we do that...either instead of or as well as a party," Koriand'r offers lightly, the alien heroine lifting her arms to wrap around Karolina's shoulders...and tugging her into the water, skirt or not. That splash is followed however with a joyful press of her lips to Karolina's and then a draw back to smile at the other woman. "Welcome home Karolina!"

Karolina Dean has posed:
    "Both could be best..." Karolina muses, lost in her mind for a moment. It's more than enough time for her to be easily distracted--and overwhelmed--by her alien girlfriend! She has just enough presence of mind to scramble with her hand to put her glass down at the poolside when she tumbles into the water, finding her lips captured almost immediately. "Mmmph! Mmmh!" she practically -melts- into it, and clings like a wet cat to Kori. "A-ah... thank you!" she laughs when she finds herself, though doesn't let go of the other girl in the slightest. "Thank you so much, Kori!"
