A Little Magic

Synopsis:	Veira's done with downtime and she invites Jan to join her in some magical shenanigans.

Veira Lazarescu has posed:
Veira and Atilla had went out with some of the Defenders a week or so ago and she'd came home wounded. But after the blood and stitches had settled they'd been fine. Atilla had been paid in chicken nuggets and Veira was sticking too home given things. Saturday night rolled around though and after dinner the woman had been busy with some things in the office she'd set up in one of the spare rooms. She'd emerged about an hour later though, in search of Jan.

Jan de Wit has posed:
Jan was in the dance rehersal room, stretching. Nothing too extreme in terms of practice - he had likely just finished up. Now it's the cool down - sitting on the floor, stretching to each ankle in turn. Flexible! As he hears her moving about the hall, he calls out - "In here, love." He grins.

Veira Lazarescu has posed:
Veira smiles when she hears him call out and she heads down the hall towards his rehersal room. Her feet are quiet as they carry her that way, "I figured you were here or downstairs with the pups." the woman states as she leans a little inside the door. She watches as he stretches, "You feeling like you're ready to turn in for the night or still up for some adventure this evening?" she asks him with a soft smile.

Jan de Wit has posed:
As soon as she mentions the pups, and they are both in the same room - they come rampaging in. They have to be there with mom and dad! Tails wag, and they hop up to lick at Jan's cheeks as he tries to deflect them - poorly. The man laughs, looking up to her as she brought this doom upon him.

"Adventure? Do we have a mission? Or ... more lessons?" He wonders, scritching the pups behind their ears to settle them down.

Veira Lazarescu has posed:
Oh no! Veira can't help but giggle as the dogs come running, "Now now, children. Don't bruise your father." she states as she steps into the room. The robe that she's wearing drapes the floor a little, but she's practiced enough in wearing long skirts that she doesn't tangle in it as she goes to help Jan with the dog deflecting. She looks to him as he asks her what the plan is.

"Well...it was a bit of a lesson." she tells him softly. "Offering might be a better word." she states after a moment.

Jan de Wit has posed:
She gets a glance at that. "Are you mended up enough to start offerings?" He wonders, slowly getting to his feet - earning another session of zoomies from the pups. They skitter and slide, the wood floors not great for traction.

"All right. Do I need to shower, or change my apparel?" He wonders, looking down to his leotard. Yep. Dance leotard.

Veira Lazarescu has posed:
Veira gives a look to the man and she smiles, "I think that I am, yes." she tells him as she offers him a hand when he starts to get to his feet. Not wanting to have to fend off the dogs without an extra hand. She does giggle when one of them go sliding, "They're such little devils sometimes." she states with a head shake.

Then she looks back to him, then down over his form before her gaze wanders back up to his, "If you'd like to take a quick shower it won't hurt anything." she tells him with a grin.

Jan de Wit has posed:
The dogs bounce around a bit, zoom around the couple, then burst out into the hall - chasing lord knows what. "They have energy. Youth." He snickers. "I am sure Orchid watches them with amusement, too." Jan assures, taking her hand and nodding. "I can go shower then meet you in the study, then?" He suggests.

Veira Lazarescu has posed:
Veira gives him a soft smile and there's a bit of a laugh, "I wish I was that young sometimes." she admits. Then there is a nod, "I'm sure she does. But they got some of it from their mother." she grins. She then leans in to give his cheek a kiss, "My study then, yes." she tells him. "Enjoy the shower." she adds as she gives him an impish look before she heads back towards the hallway and down to her little area.
