Cinque Evers has posed:
Mercado, Williams and Smith Gold Traders has been part of the New York financial scene for many decades. The business has had its ups and downs, but since the early nineties they have always been in the black. The early nineties is when Sonya Mercado became a partner in the business bringing a bunch of new insidious clients with her.

Those clients are from various drug cartels that use their money from illegal drug sales from America to mine gold from exploited workers back in their own countries, then sell that gold to "legitimate" buyers in America. It is a perfect way to clean illegal drug money"
$rExcept this time that one of the mines caved in and several workers died. It wasn?t a big enough issue to make the international news, but those who follow the investigative journalist, Micah Santiago on his podcast and darkweb site might have heard his conspiratorial messages pointing back to Mercado, Williams, and Smith Gold Traders company

Most times such conspiracy are quickly dismiss, but Micah Santiago was said to be going to New York to investigate the Traders, and was recently was found dead of overdose on the subway.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
Not exactly Batgirl's normal turf, but she was given this lead on the Gold Seller store and the subway death by a contact she trusted. She finds herself in New York tonight, not far away from the store itself. Up on one of the rooftops, Batgirl resides with her armored Bat-suit on, and a pair of Bat-shaped drones swooping past her. Her cowl eyelets covered as she's reading the sensor scanning information coming from her drones as they sweep out across the street.

She's here for monitoring tonight, to see if she can get any leads on that Subway murder victim...

As such, the drones sweep through the sky toward the shop, while Babs remains where she is with her right booted foot up on the edge of the building, reading the information coming in from the surveiling drones....

Cinque Evers has posed:
On the night that Micah diead, one of Cinque's regular clients at the Jamii Shelter told him about how they saw a man being carried on the subway by some businessmen. The woman said the man looked dead. When Cinque read about Micah's death the next day, he put two to two together. After a deep dive into the darkweb, Cinque enhanced mind began to connect the conspiracy to the facts leading to Mercado, Williams, and Smith Gold Traders.

Cinque puts on his Oletha Ukufu costume and heads to the roof top nearby, overlooking the building. It just happens to be the building that Batgirl is on. His eyes widen behind the mask, when he spots BatGirl, "This is a long way from Gotham..."

The drones bring back information of the layout of the building. The building is fifteen stories and there are about seven security guards on each floor. The movemets of the security guards reveal that security guards are well-trained, probably ex-military or ex-Hydra. There is a build up of a lot of energy that is coming from the basement which is where the servers are located.

Barbara Gordon has posed:
The drones are returning around the time that Cinque arrives on the rooftop that Batgirl is perched upon. Her black and dark gold cape gently flowing in the wind behind her form, along with her fiery red hair that comes out the back of her Bat-themed cowl.

The drones swoop in over the rooftop, and the eyelets over Babs' eyes come up, as she turns to look at the man from behind her half-mask.

"Sometimes cases bleed over." The feminine voice says back to the man, as she eyes him up...

"I'm investigating a murder for a friend, and hoping that you're not here to make things more complicated." She warns the stranger.

Cinque Evers has posed:
"Aww Gothamites, just because your city is a cesspool doesn't mean, you guys are not the only that can fight crime.' Oletha tilts his head towards his left shoulder as he looks her over, "In any case, these are the type of cases that I normally investigate. They are not as flashy as a murdering clown, but who really needs the attention.

Oletha peers at the drones, "You have drones!"

He coughs a few times to try to hide his admiration with a touch of envy as he pulls out some minature infared googles to look at the building, "Uhmm, maybe we can work together."

Oletha continues to talk as he scans the building, "These building are part of a money laundering business for several drug cartels. I am thinking there has got to be information inside to make life difficult for them, if not bring them down completely."

Barbara Gordon has posed:
The Gotham comment just has Batgirl smirking as she looks away, down at her wrist on her left forearm. Her bracer there is showing a projected holo-emitter that is showing off a bit of information to her. The Drones in the sky continue to circle in idle mode now, having transmitted their gathered information to Babs.

"The security is really high in that place." She warns him when he speaks of working together. "I count seven guards on each level, and they all look pro. Ex military eve. Not that that makes it impossible, but without knowing precisely where the information you're after is... it could be a long night of trying to find it." She states, once more glancing over to him with her green eyes visible behind her cowl.

"I'm picking up something in the basement, I believe though, a power surge down there. How much do you know about the inside of this place?" She asks him.

Cinque Evers has posed:
"I memorized the entire floor plans that are able to access online, so I am pretty sure I can navigate the building once inside." Oletha points to the sixth floor, "There should be a separate elevator that goes to the basement, but they didn't file any information about their security systems." Oletha frowns slightly behind his mask, "I do have an emp device, but there is a 2 percent chance that it could damage the servers. I do not think Micah's sacrifice deserves such a risk, especially if it just means that we have to break a few bones" Oletha grins softly, "I am hoping not any of mine."

Barbara Gordon has posed:
"Right..." Batgirl replies to the mysterious man as she stares over at him, then looks down to her projected wrist computer. Her eyes dance up to the building itself then, and the drones set up a little higher in the air before Batgirl glances up at them.

"How mobile are you then?" She asks, as she looks back over, and down at him. "I can get through one of the sixth floor windows easily enough, but if you're coming along, we'll need to make it as quiet as possible, if we're not looking to deal with every single guard in the place."

After saying that, the two drones swoop down over their heads and start to sweep back toward the building, new marching orders given out, so it would seem...

Cinque Evers has posed:
"Well, I do have a grappling hooker and some mini-tools that can get me inside," Underneath his mask, Oletha furrows his brow for a moment. "It depends on the security on how long if it is good strategy or not. If they have camera's on the outside or facing the windows, it might be a long night." Oletha taps his right foot a few times as he looks at the building, "I can serve as a distraction if you think you can reach the basement." Oletha crosses his arms in front of him as he looks her over again, "I only ask you share any intel that you find, or I always open to another plan."

Barbara Gordon has posed:
This gets a smirk from Babs as she hears his response. She softly nods her head. "A distraction could be nice." She tells the New York vigilante. "We'll go do our thing, see what we can turn up, and then I'll be back on this rooftop afterward. If you make it back? Well... I'll share with you what I've found... If not?"

She steps up on to the ledge of the building...

"I'll see you in Gotham some time then, perhaps." The redheaded Batgirl states before stepping off the edge of the building, her cape spreading out behind her, the fabric going ridged as she takes to the sky! The shape of the flying Bat sweeps over the front facades of the buildings between here and the Gold Sellers place, as the caped crusader is flanked now on either sides by her drones!
