Synopsis: Sunny and Billy send a ghost ship to Davey Jones' Locker!
Cast of Characters: Billy Batson, Sunny Harlow

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson flies in the gray morning sky frowning slightly. All those stories where the two supers fly up and meet each other are bull. Finding people in the sky is hard. He needs one of those ear buds. He pulls the new phone out of his belt, notes he is flying close enough to land to get three bars, and texts Sunny. Oh, the new phone has his coordinates! Kewl. He sends those. Again the Universe mocks him for lacking telescopic. OK now... ogling Sunny unseen from a few miles off is a little IMpure. He waits for a reply, distracted, but a mile up. Nothing to hit, right?

Sunny Harlow has posed:
No super vision for the blonde, just that crazy speed. Of course, her own little folding of her apron and tugging her shirt over her head she was quick to pack up and stash her gear before taking to the air with a little joyful whoop. After all, she might have had the power for quite a while, but flight never, -ever- got old!

A message back? A selfie, a photo of the beaming girl skylined: <I'm on my way!>

Billy Batson has posed:
Shazam looks at the selfie, his little bit of sunshine, grins a goofy grin. He holds it next to his chest for a few seconds. Then he stops his forward motion.

"I have the greatest girl in the World! You can keep all the rest! I am the luckiest man or teen alive!" He gestures and a ring of writhing lightning rapidly expands from him, to make him easy to find. He wonders if they're at the point where a hello smooch is okay? Achilles says, <One way to find out. This is good. I felt this way about the Lady Briseis. She was my Sun and stars.> Hercules and Zeus scoff somewhat. Not the best role models. Billy closes his eyes and hugs himself, feeling the lightning like a warm bath.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
KABOOM! Sunny arrives, literally with a bang...or a sonic boom anyway, but she was here. Wrapped in her white and red outfit, the young woman was suddenly making contact at his back, a little 'bump' of impact as she threw her arms around him from behind, adding to the 'hugging' party with a grin. "Hey there!"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson is emboldened by the sunny greeting. He twists around to face the young woman and then attempts to lay one on her as Victor, his foster dad, puts it.

Okay no thinking of parents!

The lightning still playing around him is transmitted into Sunny. Nothing even a normal human would fear. Her hair gets lifted by it like she's underwater. "Hello. Lightning becomes you, Indestructibelle. 'Belle..."

Sunny Harlow has posed:
A little giggle, the kiss is indeed returned, a little static buzz sending her blonde hair a little wild for a moment before she releases him and floats around, coming to rest before him. "So, what's the magic man be up to today?" she questions lightly before tilting her head to the side. "Aside from, y'know, homework."

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson shrugs. "Billy pulled an all nighter fir an extra credit paper. It may save my history grade. He didn't feel like sleeping so... here I am. Here you are. W can play catch wit mountains or something or just fly holding hands. You have that effect on me. You're like me yelling... that word a dozen times. I better not say it right now. I'm really pumped up."

Meanwhile, below, Sunny can glimpse a ship, a freighter perhaps, just adrift, with no lights.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Yeah, I thnk we could do without the lightning storm or me having to catch you plummeting all day," Sunny grins before shrugging her shoulders. "I know it's a little hard to find a gym for me...but I don't think I'm quite at 'Mountains' level yet."

Still, Sunny does turn her head to blink and look downwards at the ship. "Hey uh...has that been there the whole time?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson looks down, peers at the ship. "They don't show any lights... they might be n distress. Let's check it out." He dives down, youthful romance forgotten. Or is it? Saving a floundering ship with your super girlfriend is really romantic. There's that girlfriend word again. He calls to her, "So you want to go steady? I mean we can still team up with other people but datewise? Can I... be your boyfriend?" That tingling in his cheeks must be lightning. Shazam does not blush!

Hah!

Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Go steady?" she questions lightly, a little giggle under her breath as she clears her throat. "I mean, we've been on two dates, three rescues and...you've turned up at the cafe plenty of times...are we not already dating? Was I wrong or...?" she questions before tilting her head to the side with a giggle. "I mean...we should probably check them out, right?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson nods silently. Well he asked. Probably not the time or place but he is a little impetuous. The name on the side reads 'Carpathia.' Shazam circles the ship and then shrugs, landing on the fore deck. He seems to stand and listen or ponders something. Maybe he's just feeling silly right now. There does seem to be something oppressive in the air. He flips his hood up. Darth Shazam.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Creepy..." Sunny murmers as they float downwards, touching down beside Billy and looking about. Bright as she was, she didn't look like anything remotely sinister. The blonde beacon of bright hope turned her gaze over the seemingly empty ship, tilting her head to the side. "Is this like...a ghost ship?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson frowns. "Something... is very wrong here. Stay close. I say I don't have super senses, and I don't. But as Shazam, I can sense magic and there is something I can sense." He reaches out t take her hand before lifting off to get to the bridge. On the bridge inactive instruments greet him.

"We can't just leave it. It's floating West -towards New York and it'll be a hazard to the shipping lanes there. I guess... I'll steer it -you push? Give yourself a workout? Build up those super muscles?" He grins.

Yes, get her the hell out of this!

Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Magic?" she repeats before giving a little shiver. "How does that m- I mean, that's creepy..." Sunny murmers before lifting off in tow, bending to try and peer into the wheelhouse, a narrowing of her eyes while they made their way towards the abandoned space. "I mean...could we turn on the engine or...something? I don't think I've ever pushed anything this big before."

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson turns to her and puts his hands on her shoulders. "Whatever it is. I'm getting first crack at it. Defending against evil magic is kinda why I'm here. Annnnd pushing is not lifting. Just keep at it. Remember, you're using your muscle and also your flying power to push. The thing is already heading West. You can do it. Start slow. Otherwise you just damage the hull." He gives her a quick hug. then he turns to the wheel, looking a little supernatural himself, probably just the hood.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Alright I...just...okay, yell if you need me to non-magically punch something spooky, right?" Sunny questions, offering one last little search of the space around them before she drops towards the edge of the boat and then disappears over the side. Working out the pushing of something big was actually something Sunny had practiced, it -was- how she'd managed to lift the whole balcony full of people without shattering it during the dam disaster.

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson is left onboard. Sunny, or Indestructibelle discovers the ship slowly picking up speed after a minute of steady effort. It may be a little draining. The freighter does weigh several hundred tons. She does get it moving. Then there's a whine and a chugging as the vessel's propellors fire up. In reverse. This might prove more difficult for her. What the heck is Billy doing? the lights are still out. Worse, the propellors kick up a vicious spray at the young woman that feels needle sharp. Not natural.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
At least she was pushing it through -water-, this sort of weight across concrete was probably going to be difficult...but now? Well Sunny was certainly stubborn. Then the props start to kick up water her way, saturating the alien-born girl even with the stinging sensation on her skin has the woman hissing with a little grunt of pain. "What the hell?!"

Billy Batson has posed:
Sunny is only answered by a crash of thunder and burst of light from the bridge then another, followed by a muffled yell. Apparently Shazam's plan worked and he did get first crack. It might have worked too well. Up on the deck a horde of red eyed rats is pouring into the bridge.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
Gross, super gross! Sunny zipped upwards away from the props as they come to life, the boat was moving now and it sounded like Billy needed backup. Zipping upwards and to the deck, she swept her gaze trying to work out exactly what mess the 'Mightiest Mortal' had found himself in.

Billy Batson has posed:
On the bridge, Shazam is struggling with a shadowy mass that appears humanoids but is made of rats. It is speckled with their glowing eyes. The amorphous mass seems largely immune to his punches, merely writhing around his fists. Bursts of lightning are tanked as she sees by a single rat, which lights up and explodes. Worse his face and hands are getting scratched and nicked.

When he sees her he says, "Make sure no one is aboard and send the ship to the bottom... nnnngh! I'll keep Mickey busy." Shazam is slammed into a console as he speaks and attempts a grapple.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
"Make sure?" she repeats before giving a little noise of disgust. She'd wanted to help, but she was a little lacking on the ranged side of things so...yeah, she'll check for survivors. Of course, searching a whole ship for survivors wasn't going to be a great thing, but she'd have to go room to room as quick as she can...At least she didn't have to worry about making noise. Breaking doors and hatches was probably a -good- thing here to draw out people.

Billy Batson has posed:
Sunny will find lights flickering below decks. Flickering lights bing a sign of demonic presence. Watch any paranormal show. Ripping doors does work but there is no one living. She soon encounters bones amid the debris. The fate of the crew seems obvious to the Viltrumite woman.

Up above, Shazam fights the good fight. He watches another bust of lightning blast a whole in the Rat Hulk's torso, with little effect. He gets clawed some more. A slam to the chest actually tears his costume and knocks his breath out. At that point, he is swarmed over, being lost to sight.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
She'd expected it, given the rats, but that didn't mean that she didn't find it all the more grim. Still, once she was clear Sunny takes a moment to take a deep breath...then she slams herself downwards, punching through the hull and moving down into the depths...then she shoots back up, a blonde and bright torpedo punching another hole through the vessel, then another, then another, criss-crossing the ship to try and render it more full of holes than a colander and sink it -fast-.

Billy Batson has posed:
Contact.

Full body contact.

Billy feels the squirming mass pinning him to the metal deck.

Perfect. Well not perfect. Perfect would be hugging Sunny. When he hears and feels her tear through the ship he triggers his lightning. Not a bolt, a sheathe covering his body a millisecond before erupting into the squirming mass.

The squirming mass is smaller and stops squirming for a few moments. Shazam is nearly overcome by burnt fur. Worst date ever. He gets up and flies out of the bridge, spots Sunny rising from the stricken vessel. "She is like Aphrodite, rising from the surf," he says. Zeus snaps, <<Do not let Aphrodite hear that. In fact, you should be giving Aphrodite a sacrifice. She likes muffin baskets.>> He flies up to her.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
Aphrodite was legendarily not a good sport about people being compared to her beauty or called more beautiful than her...there were multiple legends about how bad that could be. Fortunately the blonde was completely unaware of said internal discussions. Emerging with blackened grease on her suit and in a shower of warped metal Sunny comes to a hover above the sinking vessel, exhaling a breath. "Calling this one in is going to be...unpleasent." she muses before folding her arms under her bust.

"I think the whole collapsing building was better."

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson floats over to her, wobbling a little. The cuts and tears are closing, rapidly and he shed all the burnt ick when lightning cleansed him. He watches the ship go down. "Wow. You're the prettiest wrecking ball I ever saw." He wipes some grease from her face. He flies in to hug her. "You feel like breakfast? I always wok up an appetite throwing lightning around. Zeus demands tribute... blueberry pancakes."

Sunny Harlow has posed:
He'd -try- to whipe the grease anyway, but her hand would come up to catch his and she'd shake her head with a laugh, even after the lightning bolt. "Newp, no touching, no hugs, nothing until you've showered. Too many rats!" a shudder, the mention of breakfast is tempting before she laughs lightly. "I'm also covered in saltwater and my hair is a mess...so I'm gonna go shower, get changed and... it's kinda late breakfast isn't it?"

Billy Batson has posed:
Billy Batson leans in a little and says, "Noooo touching?" He chuckles and shrugs. "I could eat breakfast all day long. What isn't to like? Eggs, toast..." He is embarrassed by a small roll, very like thunder, from his stomach. He crosses his arms. "Okay... get cleaned up. Meet me at out usual rooftop? I'll get some lunch for us." He blows her a kiss and does a heart sign with his hands that he fills with lightning. Then he streaks away. Otherwise there might be some touching.
