Synopsis:	MJ and Kori relax and chat in a break during a photoshoot.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
It was a photoshoot for a new men's cologne themed around aliens and exotics. Off-planet life. Various superheroines and models primarily of an alien nature were there for the shoot, which was a fairly standard one. Man goes from 'nothing', gets cologne, meets/woos exotic women. The job paid well, it was a pretty standard gig..
    And like any large scale commercial project, it had lots of extras. Mary Jane was one of those ones employed. She wasn't particularly exotic (by the standards of many of the people not from Earth here). But nothing some heavy makeup and prosthetics couldn't fix. And her in head to toe blue facepaint, a set of jangling antennae on her head, and wearing a thick winter coat and parka. Whenever she would be off camera for a few moments desperately going to tug the parka down to not sweat massively.

Koriand'r has posed:
It paid well, it filled some time, Starfire could do worse when she wasn't 'working'. Plus it was always fun to socialize and meet up with others in the community herself. Not quite so bothered by either heat or her rather revealing attire, the alien princess' orange skin was on display as her shots were taken but even she needed a break. Sat to the side she moved to retrieve a bottle of water for herself, a little pause and a smile, it was to the blue-painted redhead she was walking with another offered out.

Mary Jane Watson would take several moments to breathe while she wasn't doing the runway of 'girl walks in backtround for thirty takes' to quickly take some water and slide off the jacket. The lights were always hot on shoots, so she was almost melting. She would smile, "Oh, uh, hi. I guess they really were trying to bring in the real thing here." Exotic, alien, princess..

Koriand'r has posed:
"It was a way to spend an afternoon," Kori offers with a shrug, twisting the lid off her drink and taking a mouthful for herself, "and it's a fun little silly idea...although there are some people who truely do feel confidence from a scent...and some species that are entirely attracted by scent. Huh..." Welp, now Kori was pondering if the add was quite as crazy as it first seemed. "Although they're not so humanoid as...gloopy."

Another beat, Starfire blinks, grinning a little and extending a hand. "Oh, I am Koriand'r, or just 'Kori' if you like."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would let out a few breaths, "Ah, thank you. Mary Jane." She would go to offer a hand out to shake, after fully taking off the parka. "This stuff is hot." Particularly under the very bright lights. "The makeup isn't running, is it?" Her taking another moment to reach a hand up to adjust the prosthetic on her forehead that was holding the antennae over in place and matching them to her mouth.

Able to breathe again! "I always loved shows with this as a kid and wondered how they did the outfits. Now I know.."

Koriand'r has posed:
"I'm sure they'll be able to touch it up if it does," Koriand'r offers lightly, lazily reaching out to experimentally 'boop' one antennae with a grin before sipping her drink again. Makeup for her was minimal on account of the whole 'actual alien' thing, but even she had made use of a few highlights for camera and the caution of preserving lipstick had her drinking through a straw as she tilts her head to the side.

"I have been shown some of the movies with creatures. Some are quite convincing...but others? Well...they have 'charm'?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would let out a breath, "Yeah. Suppose that they can always just loop me further back in the background if they don't have the time." That was part of why these shoots had lots of extras after all. The antennae would wobble, and Mary Jane would laugh, "Suppose I can be happy they're not having me go around in a metal bikini in this."

Koriand'r has posed:
Of course, Star's outfit wasn't -much- better than a Bikini, but Tamaranians and modesty wasn't quite as big a meeting of concern. She does however laugh a little and nod, gesturing to herself. "That does sound uncomfortable, metal would be a terrible material for a swimsuit. Rubbing, cutting, getting too hot...sounds like a torture."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would chuckle, "Yes, but humans can't have anything without it being painful for a point of pride. I think it's a sort of bragging rights. I'm still very happy they're not having me or anyone go about in that costume. The censors give at least one benefit.."

Koriand'r has posed:
"This is true," Koriand'r nods in agreement before settling down to rest while the other shots are being carried out, the alien heroine tilting her head to the side. "I'm suprised we have not worked together before Mary Jane," she offers lightly before gesturing to the other girl with a grin. "Blue paint or otherwise."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would laugh, "Thank you. And you're very, very unique. I'm surprised we haven't either. But I'm not exactly big in the world." Of modeling or commercials. "I'm one of a couple million 'until my big break' types out there in the city."

Koriand'r has posed:
"Well, perhaps we'll have to change that sometime," Star offers, one hand gesturing to her own near-literally flaming locks. "After all, there are plenty of shoots that call for people of similar color hair and you are quite athletically beautiful!" Right, Tamaran, apparently subtle was up there with modest. Not a lot of shy hangups for the alien race!

"Even without the antennae I'm sure."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would go to laugh, "Your's is sitll much nicer than mine. And thank you. Coming from someone like you that means a lot. And I don't know.. The antennae mean I do stand out a bit. Otherwise I'm just another redhead."

Koriand'r has posed:
A shrug, a smile, another sip of her drink and Starfire would stretch out a little more. "I'm sure you'll do fine, but who knows? Maybe it will catch on? I've seen human trends do...very strange things while I've been here."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would shake her head, "I think that ultimately while teh look is unique that technology has not quite reached the era where this sort of thing can be done comfortably for extended periods. I'm not that level of diva to take my dedication that far."

Koriand'r has posed:
Koriand'r grins at that, shrugging her shoulders yet again. "One of the last shoots I did ended up with me rushing out to help save someone from a kidnapping and deal with an armed car chase. By the time I came back the outfit was ruined and the shoot was cancelled. Apparently 'bullet holes' were not the look they were going for.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would shake her head, "Shame, being so cute even the bullets are attracted to you. There's a specific subset of fashion that goes that way. However, most commercials tend not to go full retro grunge."

Koriand'r has posed:
"Probably a market for it," she nods in agreement before stretching her arms over her head and grinning. "Perhaps I will ask a friend or two of mine," her musings continue before she looks back to the other woman. "And you are not without projectile attracting...attractiveness either Mary Jane, although I hope you are less inclined to be being shot at."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would laugh, "Ah, thank you Koriand'r. And I'm from New York, you get used to being shot at. Or being trampled by a giant cybernetic giraffe. Or run over by a two story rocket powered wheel with flamethrowers. I'd much rather not get shot at though!"

Koriand'r has posed:
"Oh! That chase -was- in New York," Kori offers excitedly before blinking a little, giggling. "I think I...have seen almost all of those things myself come to think of it. Truely it is an exciting planet sometimes, isn't it?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would groan, "It's been a weird few years, by my understanding of history. Multiple alien invasions, Hell taking over Manhattan.." Or was it angels? "I'll.. Err on the side of positive and agree with you, let's call it exciting."

Koriand'r has posed:
"Exciting," Kori reaffirms, making to stand now and setting her drink down before offering her hand out to the shorter woman to stand with a grin on her lips. "I think we are being called back. It was a pleasure to speak with you Mary Jane."

With that, the two heroes (one perhaps a little more subtle than the other, which was ironic given she was covered in blue bodypaint!) are drawn back to their duty: taking pretty photos to sell products to the masses!
