All Hallows Eve

Synopsis:	Matt is doing some healing after the Black Sky ambush, while Daisy plans for giving out candy to trick or treaters.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Outside the city is getting ready for Halloween and trick or treating. People are dressing up getting ready to go to bars. Kids are dressing up reading to go out in search of candy.

In the quiet Hell's Kitten apartment, Matt Murdock is sitting cross-legged on the couch, wearing just a pair of grey sweats. His hands are resting on his knees and he's meditating, as he has been since he woke this morning. The bruises and cuts he suffered from an ambush by the Hand look much better than the did at the start of the day. Barely noticeable as the healing technique taught to him by Stick has done its job. Even if doing so meant Matt wasn't able to go into the law firm.

Boxer is curled up against Matt's leg, stretched out on the couch.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"You do realize...."

Here enters Daisy. Master meditation disturber.

"That it's Halloween tonight?" She is padding quietly out of the kitchen, dressed in baggy pants and a t-shirt. A smoothie is held between her fingers and she is slurping on it loudly (on purpose?) while she walks. Yes, she knew he had been hurt and in a way she supposes it was good in that she got have him around today. Because the Lord knows she can't stop him from getting hurt while as Daredevil. It's not as if he can stop her from getting hurt either! Such is their lives.

"Remember when we used to go trick or treating?" She grins.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
In the last five minutes, Matt has heard no less than four kids on the sidewalks outside talking about it being Halloween, or going trick or treating tonight.

"Is it?" he asks, playing innocent on his knowledge of the day in the face of her teasing about it. "Oh, I do," Matt tells her. "I remember that thing you wore when you were 15. You didn't know I had a crush on you. But it was tough to take my eyes off of you so no one would realize it," he comments, reaching up to scratch at the bit of stubble on his chin.

"Did we get any candy to give out tonight?" he asks. By which he means, did Daisy remember it. Because he hadn't.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
There's a brief stare at Matt, then followed by a smirk. "Yes, I am sure your eyes were all over me.." must be blind jokes week apparently! At least she didn't snort at -that- one. Maybe Matt's just getting better with them. "We did make the sisters mad.." and now there's that little mischievous tone to her. "Do you remember sister Maggie running after us?" she finally comes closer to Matt, leaning over to place a kiss on his cheek and then running her hands over Boxer.

"I got a bowl ready. Caramel, chocolate. Some peanut butter with honey ones...." a look down to Boxer when he 'meows'. "No, they aren't for you.." she boops the cat's nose and then looks back to Matt. "Nor you.."

Punishment for getting hurt the other day!

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt just breaks out in a grin. "You caught that one," he teases her. As Daisy comes over to kiss his cheek, he reaches up to take hold of her and pull her down into his lap if she lets him.

"Caramel? We're giving out caramels for Halloween?" he asks, in a voice as if that is some kind of Greek tragedy about to be enacted. "Don't those things pull out dental fillings?" he jokes. His fingers find Daisy's ribs, tickling her sides as he nuzzles his face against her. Making her feel the rub of his coarse whiskers.

"The chocolates sound good though. Maybe I can go scare the kids away so we don't have to give any out?" he teasingly suggests.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"I always catch those.." Daisy says, nearly offended that Matt assumed she may not catch the blind jokes! She lives with a blind man! And then a poke on the side of his ribs. Not on the injured ones at least.

And that Matt disses caramel? That has her quirking her brows. "So judgemental." she shakes her head, "I remember a Matt that just ate everything we gave to him to eat!" a lot of it because he couldn't see so they just gave him some weird stuff for him to try out. Kids, amirite?

She curls in close with Matt then, sitting on the ground next to him, "You are not scaring anyone away tonight. I have hidden your suit as well." she admits. "So it will just be us, Boxer, the kids coming over... Maybe a movie and who knows later?" she grins and places a kiss on his nose.

"And you are the one going to the door with the bowl. I like seeing them trying to sneak more candy out of you when they realize you are blind."

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt gives a good-natured grumble. "Alright. Suppose I should probably put on a shirt or else I'll scare some kids away. Or possibly get some interested mothers," he says, voice making the final part a teasing comment.

His arms stay around Daisy though, not moving yet. They have time still, and he'll hear the patter of feet on the floor long before they make it to the apartment door.

"Sure we don't have enough time to train boxer to give the candy out?" he asks. "Or at least swat at the kids if they reach for more than one?" he suggests. Matt nuzzles his lips to Daisy's temple tenderly. Sighing happily at the still-quiet moment, just holding her in his arms.
