Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Sam Wilson

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan had enough of school once meetings were down and oh boy was she hungry! She'd offered for Sam to come by if he was feeling up for it. Because it seemed like that was going to be an open invitation for the Avenger/Guidance Couselor. Multitalented was a thing Morrigan appreciated. She'd parked her car in the drive and then made her way from the the driveway up the steps to the house.

The weather is warm, but there's a moment taken to stop at the top of the stairs and close her eyes. Something was a miss. But she couldn't pin point it.

Sam Wilson has posed:
Sam took a little time to get his notes in order and put together. Once he did that, he put the information in the computer, then shut it down for the day. Morrigan had invited him to dinner, something that had started to become commonplace, and he wasn't about to say no. The motorcycle can be heard in the house when he pulls up outside, and as he steps up to the door, he rings the doorbell.

Because they haven't quite reached the keys to each other's place yet, and he doesn't want to cross any boundires until he's sure as he follows the doorbell with a knock. "Morrigan, it's Sam!"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
The front door opens and Morrigan peeks her head out, "Hey Sam." she states quietly. Then there's a moment taken to step back and she opens it for him. There's something that he might recognize from SHIELD labs or other places in her hands, an injection gun. "Come on in. I'm just going to be a sec." she admits to him. "Felt like I was hitting a wall earlier...and realized I was definitely hitting one." she frowns.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"Hitting a wall?" Sam asks as he steps into the house, closing the door after him as he glances down at the injection gun. "Was this a bad time?" he asks her in concern, hand touching her shoulder in concern. "No. Wrong question. Right question - is there something I can help with?" a smile, warm and sincere is offered to her. As if she didn't already notice his feelings for her.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a nod to that, "You know how you feel when a football game is almost done, but there's the last fifty yards to go to the inzone and teams are tied? Kind of like that." she explains. Football analogies. There's got to be points there, right?

"Never a bad time for you...no." she shakes her head. "You want to have this conversation in the kitchen or laying down?" she asks him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"I don't know, if I'm making your heart race like that." Sam offers to her teasingly, but he puts his trust in her hands as he steps up and presses a light kiss against her mouth. "Whichever you feel most comfortable with, Mo." he responds to her as he realizes the severity of things, and wants to just be there for what she needs him to be.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a soft smile to him, "You're going to have to stop doing that or I'm never getting through a meeting." she teases him back. The kiss is returned and there's a soft sigh after she leans back, "Upstairs for now then. Come on." she offers him her hand. "I think I should be honest with you when I have days like this...especially if you're going to be part of my life." she states as she leads him up to the familiar bedroom.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"Considering that I want to be part of your life, I would hope that you can see by now that I'm willing to adapt to the situation?" Sam asks as he slips his hand into hers so tnat she may lead the pair of them up the stairs. He furrows his brows in thought. "Days like what? I mean yeah, the thing with Alexander can be stressful, but I doun't think it was too bad?" he asks as he takes off his shoes once they enter her bedroom. He doesn't go further than that. Not until she's ready.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I'm glad we're both still on the same page then." Morrigan tells him with a smile. "And most folks wouldn't understand the situation, but, I'm hoping that you will given all of the things that you've been through." she admits. "Days were I'm ending the end of pushing myself too hard personally." she tells him. "And no, Mister Aaron's meeting wasn't too bad. But, the year is piling up." she chuckles. She sits down on the bed and then pats the spot beside her. She then lifts the injection to the side of her neck and presses the button with a little jump.

"I've never gotten used to that." she muses as she leans across to throw it in the bedside drawer. "Does SHIELD ever deal with monsters?" she asks him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
Taking a seat on the edge of the bed next to Morrigan, Sam listens to her as she starts to explain herself, and smirks. "After the Seinor trip, we'll at least have a couple of weeks of summer to each other?" he asks her hopefully. When she injects herself, he winces slightly, but doesn't say anything on the matter, just listening for now, until she decides to ask him that question.

"I'm not just SHIELD. I'm an Avenger, I've seen some really strange and weird things, Morrigan." he points out to her quietly. "But considering that I'm on the verge of asking if you want a relationship, if you have something to share?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan turns a little so that she can have a knee on the bed and she looks to him, "Alright. The only other people that know this are my adopted parents...and if SHIELD knows then I'm super impressed." she muses. She does listen to him and there's a smile, "Have you ever seen a Vampire?" she asks him.

Then she continues, "The short of it...my father is a vampire. My mother was human. Somehow I drew the short straw and ended up half. It's why I have the allergy to sunlight and garlic." she tells him.

"And I have been pushing the times out between blood, but, since my body has to have it when I've exerted myself too much it's been getting shorter." she frowns. "I don't bite people." she blurts out in addition.

Sam Wilson has posed:
A vampire? Sam laughs outright at first. "Babe, I know you're pale and have an allergy to sunlight, but a vampire?? Like... a real one?" he shakes his head. "Naw, Morrigan, you're pulling my leg." And then he starts to think more and more on it. It starts to make more and more sense as she explains things to him." To his credit, he's not running away, instead he chuckles. "Man, the first girl I'm really interested in, and..." he looks towards her - because he was totally checking out her backside when she leaned over to put away the autoinjector.

"Alright. So you're a vampire. That doesn't bite people." he looks at her thoughtfully. "I assume that's what the injections are for..." he accepts that. But she can sense that quickening pulse, that warm rush of blood in his throat as he considers her.

"Do I need to leave when you're having a... wall moment?" he asks her. He assumes it's a blood craving. He can guess at that. "Because I'm not wanting to leave unless you tell me to."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's violet gaze looks to him, "I'm not a full vampire. I'm half." she pouts. "I have a soul and things of that nature. I go to church. I just happen to have a few of the downsides and fangs." she tells him. "I just need blood every four or so months. I've stretched it that far." she tells him. Honestly most half vampires or full blooded vampires drank a lot more frequently than that.

"The injections are my Solis serum. I made it when I was in high school. It helps me be able to function in the daytime and helps with cravings, but..." she shrugs. Wait, she created her own serum?

"No, you don't need to leave. I just...wanted you to know that it happens." she tells him. "I understand if it's too weird." she points out.

Sam Wilson has posed:
Sam considers it all, his hand settled on hers, dark gaze matched to her light. Then he decides to ask. "If you were to bite me, what would happen?" he asks her quietly. Because he wants to make sure he know everything that can happen in this case. And he heard her about the serum - but what else would he expect from a girl that has a double doctorate.

"I'm not going to tell SHIELD." he finally decides. "That's your decision to make." and then quieter, more honestly.

"I'm still wanting to take our relationship to the next step." The more intimate one.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's eyes darknen when he asks the question about her biting him and there's a moment she stares at him in the way a lion might eye a gazelle. Then she snaps out of it, "If I bit you it would hurt a, but, you wouldn't turn into a vampire or anything. You'd be weak from blood loss." she tells him.

There's a look to him and she sighs softly, "I'm sure if I was a threat that it would be alright. I try very very hard to keep myself on the side of things that will help." she tells him. Though his talk about taking their relationship to the next level makes her smile and she scoots closer to him and leans her forehead against his, "We'll get there. And I promise I won't bite you." she whispers to him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
Snickering playfully at Morrigan, Sam shakes his head. "When it happens, it happens." he says to her in response. When she leans up agaist him, his hand reaches up, brushing his fingers into her hair. "We'll discuss biting too." he points out to her in a soft rumble. "I'm not going to rush you in this. In us."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a laugh, "It'll happen right after some life threatening ordeal probably." she muses to him. "Thank you for not freaking out about things. It makes my heart feel lighter. If you'd have gotten up and left I wouldn't have blamed you, but, it would have hurt. Not going to lie." she admits. "And I don't feel rushed. I think we're going exactly how we need to go." she tells him with a warmer smile.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"Are you totally waiting for me to nearly die before you tell me you like me?" Sam asks, "You know, that's every other Tuesday." he teases her lightly as he shakes his head. "It's a lot to digest." he admits finally. "But if you were only interested in me as a snack, I'm sure you'd already made your move." he points out. Laying back on the bed, he stretches out and grins up at her. "You got an extra blanket in case I decide to stay on the couch?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Oh. I guess you didn't get the memo that I like you A LOT, Sam." Morrigan tells him. "But, if we need to wait until /this/ Tuesday...I'm sure we can." she teases him softly. "Digesting a lot in the start is sometimes better than getting into everything and then feeling like you were lied to. Or until you walk in some late night from a mission and I'm sucking on a bag of O negative like a capri sun." she states with a soft smile.

"Ah...so that...I have a lab in the basement. There's blood down there." she tells him. "Oh, you're a snack alright, Mister Wilson." she tries to say that with a straight face, but, she ends up laughing as she joins him in laying down. "Yeah, there's extra blankets in the hall and things like that. But, there is a guest bedroom right next door with a nice view of the ocean." she tels him.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"I guess I talked myself out of the idea of spending the night next to you?" Sam asks her with a laugh. "I just did not want to be a temptation to you." That's said with a playful little tone as he listens to her. "If you want..." he decides to suggest. "You can draw blood from me if you don't want to bite me, if that's not some... weird courtship thing?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a chuckle, "You almost did." she tells him as she lays on her side and watches him. "I'm pretty good with ignoring temptation." she points out. "And I'd like it if you slept with me." she states. Then she blinks, "In here. In the same bed. No reason for you to sleep on the couch or anything like that." she smiles.

But when talk of blood comes up there's a bit of a hungry look given over him, "Oh...Sam..." she shakes her head, "We'll talk about that another time. I want to make sure that it's not weird or anything. I mean, guys don't usually line up to be dinner." she teases him as she snuggles up to his side.

Sam Wilson has posed:
"I'll stay here. Just find a good scarf." Sam offers playfully, but the decision is made and he smirks. "Who said anything about being your dinner tonight?" he asks playfully as he nudges her. Why? So he can get off the bed and pull back the covers. He considers her for a moment and draws in his breath, before undressing down to his undershirt and boxers and slips into the bed.

If he's spending the night with her, he's going to be comfortable. She can take that as she wants. But there's no plans to go any further than a snuggle and resting together.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I've got some very fashionable scarves I can bring out to show you if you like, Sir?" Morrigan teases him. "You don't have to worry about an overzealous hickey, gosh." she laughs softly to that. "Oh I don't think a girl would get that lucky." she muses as she props herself up on her side and watches him. She looks all too happy to be witness to this, "Well, that answers an age old question." she teases him at the boxers.

Once he's back in bed though she wiggles under the covers on her side and snuggles close to him as she closes her eyes, "Thank you, Sam." she murmurs to him. For what? He'd have to find out after she was awake.
