Date of Scene: 26 November 2022
Location: Hyperspace
Synopsis: Speculation between Gamora, Yondu and Kraglin on who the 'big man' Steverogers is, gets nowhere. The Eclector sets a new course to Tomarix 37 to sell their newly salvaged goods and poke around to find out what they can about him.
Cast of Characters: Kraglin Obfonteri, Yondu Udonta, Gwen Stacy

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
The ship floats in a field of debris. It looks small in comparison to some of the asteroids that pass them. Wreakage careens between the crumbled remains of a planet pulled to its death by gravity, a well in the midst of stellar distances that collects flotsam and the occasional treasure.

The man in the co-pilot's seat bends over a screen, watching an object, twinkling in the distance.

"I dunno, cap'n. This might be it. It's feelin' fished out to me, now. We made a pretty good haul, I reckon."

Yondu Udonta has posed:
The captian was looking at another screen, leaned slightly over the console and scanning the images. He would flip from one hold on the ship to the next. Each was piled with a variety of things. First hold had actual ore, like the former mining ship had been created to find. Another had electronics and a few crewmembers with talent in those areas were looking to see what could be repaired or just needed to be broken down into potentially sellable parts. And so forth to the final that was just a jumble of Other.

"These singularities will keep fillin' it up so we'll set this on our regular routes. But for now, ain't much more room. We'll need to head back to a planet soon. Whatever is close to start there then work back toward Knowhere."

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
Kraglin steals a glance at the captain's rotating screens. Even with the automated avoidance systems that in principle should move the ship out of the way of a strike, the First Mate likes to have 'live' eyes on the situation. It's packed out here.

"Yea, that's a good plan. This has been a good haul. First one with a live 'un, too."

He narrows his eyes and looks sideways at the blue man next to him. "Whaddya think of the big guy? He's sumthin', isn't he?"

Gwen Stacy has posed:
Not one given to big talks or idle commenting Gamora has been quietly watching the exchange between Captain and First Mate. Specially as she talking might tip on the real reasons for her to have joined the Ravagers these last few weeks. At least on the part about going to a planet with the haul.

So she remains on her feet, shoulder against a wall, listening. Almost like a shadow!

It's when they get to talk on the traveler that she finally chips in her two credits, "He's not the kind of guy that won't have heat on his back." she notes, "We might be looking for trouble sooner than later."

Yondu Udonta has posed:
At that question, Yondu pushed back from the console and glanced over his first mate. Kraglin had been with him for some time. He had earned his place as First Mate long ago and Yondu's respect well before he had the title. The man was one of the few people that knew Yondu well.

He scratched at his chin a moment as he turned to lean his backside against the console. "Yeah, is is that. Figured he had to be somethin' else to be alive after that." At Gamora's words, he glanced to her and gave a nod. "Exactly. Someone may have spaced him. So if he's been spaced, gotta wonder why. Or if those people are gonna want another shot if they find out he ain't dead yet."

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
"Hot property, yeaaaaah," Kraglin replies sparing a turn of the head to glance at the green woman behind him with a noncommittal look; he's still not sure about her. They are all colors of the rainbow, this crew. Not that anyone cared, if you didn't function in the crew you'd just as soon end up marooned on a planet - helluva a lot better than looking down the wrong end of a gun.

"Funny thing there was no ship wreckage or life capsule, too. Spaced sounds right to me. Though he seems peaceful enough."

The First Mate's long thin face contorts into a frown. "If he's wanted, Cap'n, how you figure we gonna find out? You looked at the latest galactic wanted list?"

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"Peaceful.." Gamora echoes that word and then just smirks. "At least until the man remains a blank slate, not remembering anything." her gaze shifting to look out at the debris field now. "We all saw how strong he is."

At Kraglin's suggestion about looking for the traveler in some wanted list there's the slimmest of smiles out of the mercenary. "I can do a few inquiries.." she's so helpful.

"Lots of mercs around these parts, I still have a few contacts in the sector." She admits.

Yondu Udonta has posed:
"Once we make it back into range, that'd be good," Yondu says at the offer from Gamora. "Ah can check the feeds then as well." Since where they were at the moment was a bit far out for communications of such types to be easy. Especially with those singularities interfering on top of the range.

Attention back to Kraglin again, he gave a little half shrug. "If it turns out he has a bounty, we weigh it against what we think he might benefit us. Got t'get him a hand at least and that's gonna cost. But he said he owed us so figure Ah'm addin' everythin' t'the list for him to pay back. He can earn his way about off the ship if it is more cost effective."

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
"An investment. Even one-handed, he's got muscles on him that'll be worth summthin' in a fight." Kraglin nods in agreement with himself, then leans forward to lightly touch the controls to correct their course.

"Yeeeeah, we won't regret it. Lots gonna depend on what kinda heat he calls down on himself." His mouth hardens into a straight line "Easy to remedy. Put him back where we found him in the Big Black."

After checking the scans again, "So where we headin' next, Cap'n?"

Gwen Stacy has posed:
"Alright, will see what I can find.." Gamora inclining her head at Yondu, a thoughtful expression returning to her features as she considers the various possibilities on the mystery that the traveler was.

Eventually she looks over to Kraglin and a smirk plays up at her features. "Sometimes I forget the crew I am riding with, but you surely make me remember all the time.." some amusement tinging her tone.

Too much time riding with the Guardians. Maybe she was going soft.

Yondu Udonta has posed:
"Also might depend on who is after him," Yondu admits. Cause while he is quite the capitalist of sorts, he is certainly not going to get himself killed for some stranger he barely knows. "Steve Rogers might even choose to stay on his own, without all the work. But we'll see. Too many variables at this point t'be sure. Wanted, not wanted. Hunted, not hunted."

He pushed up and pushes a few buttons on the console as he considers. "Either way, Ah just suggest no one piss him off. He might seem mellow now but if he loses it, he could tear this ship apart with his bare hands." Something to keep in mind when dealing with the gentle but way too strong giant.

"Looks like Tomarix 37 is the closest to us that has a trading post. We'll head for there next. Gonna take a few days."

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
"Tomarix 37!" A snaggly-toothed grin blooms on the First Mate's face. "Good bars. Better wimmin. And not too many police. Sounds good to me, Cap'n."

He swings his seat around to look at the green woman and Udonta. "Either of you get anything outta Steverogers lately? He's always asleep when I go by the medbay. He's healin' up real fast with it all. But he ain't growin' a hand or an eye back. Re-generation would be a handy thing."

Yondu Udonta has posed:
Some voices were raised nearby and Gamora scooted off to see what was happening, leaving Yondu and Kraglin to continue their conversation. After all, such happenings were common on the ship. To them. She was still getting used to things so was more likely to go investigate. Yondu didn't tend to worry until he heard weapons fire.

"Not really. Still not rememberin' much the last time Ah talked to him. Outside not regenerating, he's healing up crazy fast. Doesn't seem to be nanites though so it's part o' his physiology, Ah'm guessin'. Damned computers been no help on figurin' out his species."

Kraglin Obfonteri has posed:
"Not anything I've ever seen. Wonder if he's regular size' where he comes from?" Kraglin nods several times, looking into the distance as he speculates on Steveroger's size.

"Welp, I'll go down to medbay and have me palaver with him. You nevah know, it might shake somethin' loose."

He turns back to the console to begin working on another screen, "Want me to put the course in now, Cap'n?"
