Cast of Characters: Warren Worthington, Roberto da Costa

Warren Worthington has posed:
Warren has been spending more and more time at the mansion, using the facilities that he doesn't have access to at his place in Manhattan like the Danger Room. He must have just done a bit of a workout as he is in the kitchen fueling up, hydrating with a bottle of water with a lemon wedge added for flavor and prepping a sandwich using the New Years leftovers. He is dressed in a loose t-shirt and a pair of board shorts. He feet bare.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa is dressed in his usual well tailored suit, he's going casual which means no tie. He walks in munching on an apple, wearing a pair of those new glases with the built in smartphone. He walks in talking, "No, no, if he's here I'll find him. Oh, speak of the angel, here he is. Thanks, sure, I'll let him know." Berto clicks off and sets a tablet down on the table, giving you an easy grin, "Your assistant wants you to call in. I've got the X-Corps fundamentals, we're ready for phase 2. You want the razzle dazzle or should I bottom line it?"

Warren Worthington has posed:
Warren Worthington glances up at Berto makes his way into the kitchen, removing the bottle from his lips and glancing over with an arched brow. "What, the office is now calling you to hunt me down? What good is it being the CEO if I can't just vanish for a workout every now and then..." He shakes his head and chuckles as he continues to make his sandwich. "My assistant should know better than to call you to go looking for me. I'll have to have a talk with them." He shrugs a shoulder, the wing on that side ruffling slightly, "Bottom line it, then hit me with the razzle dazzle UI suppose."

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa laughs, "In her defense, I called her wanted to get on your calendar for the update. Your lucky to have an assistant. Mine never seem to last... " Berto shrugs, "So, The work is in MutantTown is going well. Everything is hittingnits targets or exceeding them. Housing units are filling up, we have the usage of public assistance up to 80% of those who qualify which is higher than some other communities, first responder response times are down by half. The artist studios ate doing welland we have our first shows this month. The lab pods are a slower start but we knew that was a niche market. There has been some discussion of shirting some of the units over to smallscale manufacturing. But, given the history of our people with biologics. I'm hesitant."

Berto sits at the table and folds his hands, "We're starting phase 2. We have skeleton crews in Quarack, Aqaria and Azania with construction underway in a half dozen others. Smoothly, so far but we are starting to get some unsettling rumors."

Warren Worthington has posed:
Warren Worthington chuckles and finishes making his sandwich, moving it up to take a bite as he listens. He chews before answering, "Sounds good so far, everything withing acceptable margins as far as you make it sound...but what are these rumors? Anything credible?"

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto da Costa purses his lips as he drums his fingers on the table, "There have been an uptick in dis appearances, which, sadly, isn't unusual in this part of the world. Polling also shows an uptick in anti-mutant sentiment but nothing outside of normal variation." He pauses, "The biggest concern is Trask opened branches in Bialya, who is a neighbor of Quarack and Aqaria. Trask Medical, it's a new humanitarian wing of the company. I'm doing some digging."

Warren Worthington has posed:
Warren Worthington purses his lips, setting the sandwich down onto the plate in front of him. "Trask is never a humanitarian. Well, not to us, anyway." Warren sighs, folding his arms over his chest, "Yeah, best keep an eye on that guy or the next thing we know we will be neck deep in something he concocts. As far as the disappearances, should we maybe set up some security, or ramp up any that we do have going? CCTV?"
