Cast of Characters: Ariah Olivie, Sunny Harlow

Ariah Olivie has posed:
One could be forgiven for not believing Ariah is a vampire. Or perhaps being absolutely surprised to find out such things. Because here and now? It's a nice spring day. Still a touch cold, but the promise of light and life coming in the coming weeks and beyond--and at the moment, a lack of precipitation! Just at the edge of Happy Harbor, there's that lovely community garden. And in it, at least one person or two have set up a picnic blanket and brought a bag of goodies.

Who? Well, a certain witch has invited a certain blonde out to enjoy the air, cool as it is, before the next big deluge of rain comes for the city.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
To be fair, most people don't generally think of 'vampire' on a picnic, certainly on a spring day, yet here they were and with the recovery of the white-haired girl and the odd donation from a certain blonde waitress and secret superheroine, they pair were out and about. Sunny had even brought treats....well, spare cookies from the cafe anyway.

Ariah Olivie has posed:
To her credit, Ariah had... actually done a little cooking. She'd brought some fully-cooked hamburger patties and all of the fixins. But what's most important? Pie. A whole two slices of berry pie from the Cafe where Sunny works. Maybe it's because the blonde pushes it so much that Ariah just had to try every flavor they carry, but she's sold.

"...I can heat it up," she states, referring to, well. The burgers. The chese on the burgers. The buns. The pie. All of it that needs heating. She's not afraid to use her magic in public. The tiny vampiress is wrapped in a lot of her usual. Snug jeans and leather boots. A long jacket over a grey shirt. She's almost monochrome.

Sunny Harlow has posed:
Sunny certainly wasn't complaining! Having changed into her own day clothing Sunny was...well, living up to her own namesake!

Wrapped in a white sundress trimmed in yellow and a pair of leggings she'd thought cute with a bright yellow and black 'bumblebee' stripe down the legs, she was the splash of color to the monochrome picture!

"You can? Show me!" She offers, shifting to her knees. Unlike the Krytonians she didn't have the handy dandy heat vision.

Ariah Olivie has posed:
"Also let me know if it gets too cold? The weather suggested another cold front soon..." Ariah states quietly. It's cute how she's so concerned for the blonde. The one that's actually probably indestrictible. She's certainly Indestructibelle. But. The vampiress is, perhaps, surprisingly not so strong in comparison. Small. And. Adorable? Not that she'd ever admit it.

"Oui. I will. If you hunger," she states, opening the container with the patties. She places the cheese atop them, and though they're fully cooked, they need to be nice and warm. Then the little witch looks around, to be sure of a lack of prying eyes. Maybe it's a little coo cold for average people to be picknicking. Then those little threads of light slip out. Her fingertips glowing as thin tendrils of blue-white emergy, unravel like strings, and wrap the food in a cool glow.

It really doesn't take very long. Less than a minute, perhaps, but Sunny can see it. Sunny can smell it. The food heating, the cheese melting. "Prepare your buns," Ariah states, completely straight-faced. Maybe she just doesn't get the double-entendre as she nods to the other containers with the bread, as well as sliced toppings. Lettuce, tomatoes, all the fun things.
