Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: June Connor, Colleen Wing

June Connor has posed:
June didn't want to deal with what just happened to Caleb. She grabbed her bag as the ambulance got there. As soon as she wasn't immediately required. She went straight back into Colleen's living area, and plopped onto the couch. And lit up a blunt. How will Colleen feel about it? Unsure. Right now, she just wants to get some stress off her. She runs her hands through her sweaty hair, and just leans back into the couch.

Colleen Wing has posed:
After Caleb was taken from the dojo and was safely in the hands of the medical crew, Colleen took a few moments to wash up the small amount of blood on the floor of the dojo. Afterall, she did have a business to run and blood on the floor was typically not a good business practice. Satisfied with the floor, she then made her way into the living area, waving a hand in front of her and stepping over to the window to open it. Howeve,r she makes no comment about the traumatized woman smoking in her living area. Now was not the time for that.

She made her way to the fridge and grabbed another cold water from it, opening it as she turned and taking a sip before addressing the woman on her couch. "You doing okay?" You know that was not your fault right?"

June Connor has posed:
June leans her head forward, and takes another drag on the rolled paper, slow and long. She doesn't turn her head up to Colleen, or even answer. But the green eyes shift in her direction to indicate that she heard her.

Colleen Wing has posed:
"This stuff happens. Do you know how many people I have hurt by mistake? You try your best to make sure you are being careful, but you never really know how someone is going to respond to a strike. Or a knee to the chest." She takes another sip of the water and makes her way over to the couch, sitting down beside her and leaning back herself as she pulled her barefeet up under her. "Sometimes you never know how you are going to respond to an unexpected strike. I've knocked out a few people in my Dojo before. Granted they should have blocked...seriously. Put your hands up."

June Connor has posed:
June has a sneer almost in response. "It's not that," June says, watching the smolder on the end of her stress reliever. "I'm just a fuck up. You gotta make your living, you get someone in here, I fuck it up. That guy ain't comin' back, payin' customer right out the door. Walkin' atom bomb goin' somewhere to happen."

Colleen Wing has posed:
"No no...just no." She shakes her head and sets her water on her lap as she looks to June once more, trying her best to make her feel better. "He may be back. Maybe. When he is vertical again. I mean he may not ever wish to spar with you again, but that's okay. And if he does not come back, then so be it. I have other clients and classes and other ways to make sure they don't shut this place down.." She nibbles her lower lip. "I mean I probably should have had him sign the disclaimer first, but he seemed nice enough that he may not sue." She just breaks a smile and nudges the woman beside her. "You two were in a spar and well, he was not ready. I mean I am just as much to blame."

June Connor has posed:
The nudge shifts June, but she doesn't return it with a similar gesture. "Yeah, or I could have not been dickin' around and just did what you wanted in your own dojo. Instead of frontin' to some greenhorn like I was hot shit." There is a swell on her left cheekbone, it'll probably bruise, though she hasn't done so much as give it the slightest nursing. "You're way too nice for this stuff, you know that?" she asks, finally turning her head to look at Colleen.

Colleen Wing has posed:
"Look June. Shit happens. That is why they are called accidents. Could you have gone a little lighter? Perhaps. Tho, I must admit the strike you gave, his reaction is not typical for the power of that strike. I would be willing to bet there is something else going on with him. I don't know what. Some injury from the past perhaps. The blood. Should not have been there. I am sure of it."
She sips the water again and sets in down on the table in front of the couch. "And the way he had me tell his family it was a /code red/. It was as if this had happened before or something similiar. I guarantee we are going to find out that there is more to what happened then your strike. Trust me on this. I have been around my share of striking injuries."

June Connor has posed:
"Yeah, I know what kinda strike I gave," June huffs. "Not the point. It's always something. The Hand, Hellfire, Vampires, stupid choice of friends. You know I got at least eight crime bosses that want me dead? I was in the body of Tigra last week, and for the first time, I actually felt like I wasn't a loser. People looked at me and they were happy to see me. But they weren't looking at me. They were looking at Tigra. They were looking at someone they respected."
