Some people just have a bad hand. June's had that. She's also played the cards she has very poorly, which has made her life even worse. She rebelled against a mentally ill and hyper controlling mother, and attempted to be raised by her father only to have him die before that came to pass. Enraged at the world, she joined the Hand, looking for...who knows what. She hasn't found it, though.

Timeline

Timeline:
2002: June is born to Michael and Natalie Connor. A few weeks after she was born, they separated.
2004: After being accused of several assault charges, Michael was given only 15% parenting time with June.
2007: June started to realize that her mother was mentally unstable, and accusations against her father that awarded her the majority parenting time were fradulent.
2012: June reports her mother to CPS for emotional abuse, and requests to be placed with her father.
2013: After three years of effort to get a hearing, Michael is murdered by a mugger 2 days after the hearing, before any decision was reached.
2015: June is denied emancipation by the court.
2016: June runs away from home, and joins a street gang.
2017: After several of her gang are killed in a shoot out, she's arrested and placed in juvenile hall in New York City.
2017: Six months after arriving, Doomsday kills Superman, and June loses hope that there is any hope for good in the world, and begins her own personal mission to design a fall of the government. She starts studying computers during her detention.
2018: During Loki's assault on New York, the detention center holding June is damaged, and she makes an escape. She spends the next year bouncing from one temporary refuge to another.
019: After being sold to traffickers, she murders the person who purchases her, causing a mild stir with the underground world, and is discovered by the Hand in the process. From there she begins training as an assassin, hoping to find a way to destroy the government through serving them.

Personality

Afraid:
Beneath her "I'll kick your ass" exterior, June is terrified. She's not afraid of the future, or death even. She's afraid of her own helplessness. She fights to have significance in what she does, and can be easily manipulated by those who have cooler heads than she does.

Angry:
It's her default state in life. She's angry at the world. She's angry at heroes who pretend life can be black and white. She's angry at the courts for leaving her father destitute so that he would end up living in a neighborhood where he would be murdered. She's angry at her mother for being a controlling lunatic. She's angry at EVERYONE. Her bitterness and resentment often are on her sleeve, and when she is sad, she's more likely to punch someone and yell than she is to cry.

Guilt:
All things considered, one might expect June to be a complete and total sociopath. She's not. She may not allow morals a voice in the moment that she makes decisions, but they have a strong voice in her when she tries to sleep. The horrible things she does are like a shirt of concrete on her soul, her regrets for betrayals, the surrender of her dignity, and lives that she takes are all with her. Most people might expect her to be an atheist, but she's not. She believes in God, and she feels his judgment waiting for her.

Impulsive:
When something tips her over, rash decisions with little thought to long term consequences fill her life. Whether it's a destructive relationship, a street fight, or a drug binge, June will react with whatever her gut reaction is to almost any situation, save for the orders of The Hand to do otherwise.

Misplaced Justice:
It might look on the surface that June has no desire for justice. This isn't quite true. She wants things to be right in the world, and for good to succeed. She just has seen that idea fail enough that she's doing the only thing she can, is try to find justice on the things she wants, even though it may be at the cost of justice on the whole. Why? Because she believes that true justice in this world is dead.

Computers:
A tool that she has self-developed, June is able to crack most public web access. While more advanced programming is beyond her, she's focused on internet security, and can crack most average strength security systems.

Fighting:
While June has been training with the Hand as an assassin for the last couple of years, she's been fighting since she was little. She's smaller than most she fights, and her tactics are extremely dirty. She knows how to use her environment to her advantage, use unfair exploitations of enemy weaknesses, and use whatever brutal opportunities she may find to end a fight in her favor. She's taken down people with significantly greater skill than her own simply by virtue of being willing to stoop to maneuvers others might not ever consider.
Aside from this, the additional training in ninjustu has benefited her greatly, enabling her to have greater knowledge on how to defeat more powerful opponents. Still, her martial prowess is only that of your average Hand ninja.

Fleet of Foot:
There are a lot of people stronger, faster, and more agile than June. There are people who can shoot lasers from their eyeballs and lift cars with their minds. She has no illusion that she can fight such overwhelmingly more powerful people. But she is damn hard to catch.
Whether using a flat sprint, hiding while fleeing, use of obstacles and the environment, she's quite adept at figuring out what her pursuer or prey lacks that she possesses, and if there's a way to exploit that in a chase, she will use it every time to get away. This has resulted in her escaping situations that no one would expect her to.

Infiltration:
One of the things that The Hand found in training June was that beyond a simple grunt, her greatest strengths lay with infiltration. Finding ways around security, entering undetected, and exiting undetected, have earned her a spot as the planner of many operations that might normally go to more seasoned members. She's very good at remaining quiet, and she's even better at understanding where an enemy is most likely to be looking at any given time.

Manipulation:
One might expect that with her devil may care attitude and explosive personality, she wouldn't be very good at playing people. But the truth is quite the opposite. She's spent most of her life trying to manipulate someone, and as a result she's become very good at it.
Much like her method of fighting, June is willing to do virtually anything to gain control of someone's behavior. She'll use the end of a blade, the realization of a fear, hope for success, or time between the sheets (Off screen, no TS). Her moral inhibitions are nearly non-existent, and she'll do whatever it takes to accomplish her goals.

Contacts:
The girl knows people. Usually people other people would rather not know. Sometimes they'd rather not know her as well, but she still knows them. If something is moving in the underworld, she probably has someone that knows something about it.

Hook Swords:
Junes first choice of weapon are a pair of hook swords. their diversity giving her more than straight combat advantages, they are her most frequent choice, and her most proficient weapon. Nope, they aren't magical. Nope, they aren't made of adamantium. They are just regular human crafted weapons.

Ninja Gear:
Most of the time, June carries a backpack, fanny pack, or other sort of receptical that can hold smoke pellets, poison bombs, kunai, climbing rope, and other standard ninja paraphernalia. It's always good to be prepared.

Weaknesses

Broke:
While most of her more essential needs are met by the Hand, June has very little financial resources. Actually, that's exaggerating her resources. She has no financial income. She's not exactly the type of person who would hold a job very well, she has no legitimate work experience, and she has a record. To get things, she has to find ways to get other people to give them to her, or steal them. That includes lodging.

Criminal Record:
Any cop who ran her file would probably pull his gun before he finished reading it. She hasn't been convicted of many things, but the number of crimes that she's a suspect in makes her someone that would never walk away from a routine traffic stop.

Herself:
June is her own worst enemy. She makes terrible decisions on a regular basis, burns bridges with friends, and gets herself in over her head more often than not. It's a miracle she isn't already dead.

Human:
In the end of the day, June's just human. She's not even a big human, she's a little human. She's at a disadvantage in the area of experience and physical strength, meaning she has to create advantages. There are few people she finds herself at odds with that she hold an advantage over naturally.
