A nice trip over seas.
Date of Scene: 08 April 2023
Location: Tokyo Skytree
Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Phil Coulson, Natasha Romanoff

Phil Coulson has posed:
Phil's day started well.. A cup of warm coffee, an empty office to work in though that is until his phone rings. Answering it he gives a "Yes.." a sigh as he listens. "Where.. I will be there." and hangs up again as he sighs again. Instead of sitting, and sending others to do it his help was requested, but as he googled Tokyo skytree he called up Natasha, "You are needed, meet me at the airport at HQ for briefing please." as he had learned a little bit of politeness can go a long way.

So back on the computer he printed a few more things up, making one or two more calls for the files he just could get to here. Standing up he walks out of the random Time Share buisness that was the cover, and heads to headquarters in Lola himself. Now armed with information, and a few changed schedules he was ready to meet Natasha and go over the plan. He would arrive quickly though maybe thirty minutes after he called her, and a private jet would be gassed up, and ready to go on the tarmac just for them. He was a spy at heart so using it to enter a bit suttle other then a flying fortress.

The day by the time the plane is ready to go is noon here, and around two am in Japan. It is a nice day for winter the skies are clear, and it seems just like a normal flight on a normal day.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
And over on the plane is Natasha. She's in Widow mode. And has been the last two days. Whereas Agent Coulson is relaxed, Natasha is wound tight like a spring, ready to unleash. She's sitting over with the notes in front of her, spread over throughout the cabin as she readies.

"Agent Coulson." There's no 'how are you doing' or 'is everything all right'. This is Natasha when she is in mission mode.

"Thoughts on approach to the target and objective?" She has her own thoughts, but it's better to work on planning with a group. So the team can cover one another. And more heads will bring more ideas. And hopefully better ones. Not that plans ever tend to last long in the field.

"I will yield operational command to you." He'll be the one on support. That means he has a far wider vantage point of what's going on.

Phil Coulson has posed:
As phil leaves his car, and gets to the plane the other black cars come as well. They are around him asking him questions, about how much this cost, and they need to know why they are scubbing a file. No-one refusing of course, just asking questions from Phil's emergancy requests. As he reaches the stairs he turns to address them, and takes off his sunglasses. "Just do what I ask, I know I am not the director, but he has given me the greenlight to get it done." he sighs a bit. "Bureacrats." and gets inside to face Nat.R
Holding up his hands he nods to Nat, "Please Miss Romanoff... read this I am going to go tell the pilot our destination." he hands her the information about how one of their agents in Tokyo got accidently exposed when their mascot head fell off in the town dance. They were currently being held in the Skytree though unknown which floor yet by the SFGp or thier special forces.

Returning Coulson sighs a bit, "We are on our way to japan.. We need to save an agent in danger. From what I have heard some five year old tripped him being a little brat, but it doesn't matter now." with a smile he reaches behind the chair pulling out a harness. "Good news we are going old school on them. Sky Hook from the roof." he frowns a bit. "Bad news they check for weapons so to get in.." he pulls out a suitcase on wheels that was just big enough for a grown adult to fit in. "I would of got you in as a worker if we had time, but we have to get them out before they start asking the right questions."

He sighs a bit again, and explains. "I will be the distraction, I have to be seperate from you, and if you are caught while I will come get you.. You know the SHIELD line right?" he shakes his head at this, "Lets just get them out clean and not worry about that part okay?"

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanoff would over at Phil, "Understood." She goes to sort through things. They have an agent that needs extracted. They don't have time for much of a plan or a cover goin gin. They need to get in, extract their agent, and get out.

"I can cover for us long enough." Everything was a weapon. It was said that for a true fighter, everythign in a room was a weapon. Even when there was nothing left, that still might hold true.

"What are rough estimates of resistance, alert status, and numbers?" They're not going to have a great idea as to location of their agent until they get closer.

Natasha goes to take out what maps they have. Blueprints, surrounding area.. A hand goes up in front of her as Phil flies the plane.

A blueprint shows of the building in a three dimensional hologram. Natasha's fingers would occasionally move, highlighting points of it to enhance and zoom. Memorizing the layout while also having paper blueprints to the side.

Phil Coulson has posed:
He smiles, and nods as he knew working with her would be easier, but that is why he called her. He waved a hand to the suitcase. "Shield tech.. They can X-ray it all they want, and it will just show up clothes." he smiles a bit, "Should be the same amount at a tooth exam from inside." He explains as he puts a obvious gun in a holster that poked out his suit jacket a little as they always expected to find something. "You should be fine to bring what you want, though I know we called you quickly Fury tough me one thing." he moves over to the the baggage holding pushing a button opening it to show a few guns, bullets, darts, the whole thing. "Always be armed." and smiles happily grabbing two ear pieces, and a wierd box.

After showing her this he moves to the blueprints, and sighs for a moment thinking how he used this darn thing. Though only a moment before he adds, "Ah!" hitting a button little dots appear on each floor, though Thirteen threw Sixteen show no readings.

"There are a few floors 'full' off people, and most those floors would be tourist spots inside the tower, though the closer you get to Thierteen, Sixteen, and twenty-nine, the top, It looks like the people standing are in order like military. "We still have a few people on the ground feeding us information." explains Phil. "Though I believe it is about fourty per floor I do not know whats in that block. No-one does yet." then smiles at Nat as she will be finding out for them.

The top floor, and the one below it had guards too but only a dozen, as they were just a show for Phil who was meeting their boss on the second to highest twenty eigth floor.

Taking in a breath as he had been explaining though the plane is flying quickly so he must talk quickly. "Finally this." he shows the box, "This will stop their internal communication. It work forever, but it should be at least an hour." he chuckles a bit, "If you make too much noise though you might alert the others, so keep it per floor, and it should be fine..." he stops thinking to make sure he told her everything, and handing her an ear piece. before he asks, "Any questions?"

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanoff would continue to scan through teh plans, "Excellent foresight, Agent Coulson. And excellent preparatory work." She goes to sort through the weapons over and skims them, evaluating each of the ones present. "Anything else necessary I can procure inside."

She evaluates over the floors that have the military personnel, skimming along them while reviewing her memories of SFGP forces. Considering and evaluating. Combat styles. Loadout. Normal search and neutralize patterns.

"is there the equipment for a controlled EMP? On top of the scrambled communications, it will hamper their ability to reinforce one another significantly. They'll have to rely on whatever the backup generators have, and much of their effort will have to be passed along ot handling tourists." A good backup option if she needs it.

She's already reviewing possibilities floor by floor. They don't knwo which one their asset is on - if he's even on the ones that the soldiers are in. She doesn't know if she can find security in time to do a thorough search, or through the computer network.

"Give me files on known personnel present and officers assigned to the area that could realistically be in the vicinity." Even as she goes to ready to sort through psychological profiles from SHIELD Databases, hopefully. And thens tart modeling faces through a 3D Printer.

Phil Coulson has posed:
He gives a smile and rubs the back of his head, "Well I try to get the best for the best." he admits as he too felt he had to put a little bit more elbow greese in it because it was Natasha going in there. "Also what you may procure inside is up to you. I do not want to micro-manage, but if you find anything." he stands up, and rummages through the stuff. and pulling out one of those small pen shaped cameras. "I doubt they have anything, but if they do.." he comes back, and hands it to her. "The priority is the agent though. We can come back if needed."

He thinks about it for a moment then shakes his head, "Sorry to say it but no EMP's here. If we go too big they will know it was us, as for now they will just think it was us." he clearifies a bit. Though he thinks about his request and smiles a bit as he opens his phone. "It's Colson.. I want the the power bill of the building." there is a pause. "Alright... One moment." and he points the phone at the 3d image, and it beeps transfering the information. "Thank you. Keep ready." and hangs up. Natasha would see the problem quickly, as the power from the building seems to be coming from that room the yellow lines going out and through the building. If they were to try to cut it they would have to disable anything from there as their bills for outer power are minimal at best.

As the pilot yells back "We are almost there boss." Phil is sending faces of higher ranking members of the SFGp. "I am also sending you some that are not there. Maybe they are the ones in the missing floors, or at least you will reconise them if you pass them. Also I sent you a bage of a special forces officer though we don't have time to background it. Should still pass visual inspection."

The plane is already landing the flight quick, and the few times of looking stuff up, and making masks taking the time of the flight. There is no rush to exit as they are just landing, and will be taxied to a private hanger, so what isn't finished can be waited on. "Take what you need, but once your in there I can't get you more supplies." he taps his ear piece, and tests it so you can hear him, and a very cheery "Hi this is Jim from Logistics!" come over the radio to a sighing colson. He says flatly, "No names over the channel." looking at Nat he smiles, "Sorry... he is new."

Jim explains how he will be in their ear, and in the network though the area is sealeed where she is going, and how the other floors were childs play.

Looking out the window Coulson says, "Welcome to Japan! You should try the tea if you get time." and chuckles a bit thinking about his part.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
That's what a backup plan is for. She doesn't have a team with her that can take out the power and be there for backup and extraction. She has herself, Coulson on the comms and coordination, her own skills, and her equipment. It will have to be enough. SHIELD doesn't leave their own behind. No matter what the odds.

She has a brief time to quickly familiarize herself with possible individuals she might run into, get ready a couple extra wigs in case she needs them for a fast change, some makeup for a quick disguise kit, a few other odds and ends to improvise if she needs them.. And then she's gathering everything together.

Officer's uniform hidden away, different accents from separate neighborhoods of the city and locations that the officers were known to come from memorized, layout of the building, forces present.. Time to go.

"If something happens, your priority is to extract yourself at your discretion." Better one lost agent than two, after all. And then she's in full Widow mode.

Phil Coulson has posed:
Phil looks at her and smiles as he opens the suitcase for her. "So you going inside disquised, or you taking the case?" he asks as it was up to her as she was the one who was going to be sneaking in. She thought a lot like he did when it came to saving an Agent though they didn't have to say it outloud as they both knew what they would do to get an agent back. He looks at her seriously, "Pumpernickle.. You say that and within an hour i will have just about every agent I can boots down in Japan.' he shakes his head, "If things go bad, or if there is something in there big enough we need to act is what it is for."

He lost one agent he would not lose two. Sure he would be in diplomatic talks for months, some major egg on his face, and maybe even have to pay some reperations if caught, but he would not leave her. "I hate brute force, but if it comes to it I will take reponsibility for it." he finishes as the Pilot comes back the plane had stopped moving in the hanger. "They brought a Limo.. seems they must of spotted us on the way in." he notes. Though Coulson answers the pilot, "As expected.. Are you ready?" he asks giving her one last chance to get what she wants before he is going to open the door, and adress the group that was meeting them.

At the door he says quietly.. "No agent is getting left behind" he adds patting the suitcase gently. "Not on my watch," and smiles going to greet the others.

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanoff would nod, "I can take both in." She would note over as they would land and get out, and she's going to arrange the suitcase over with the equipment and take it over to her lap. Then she goes to take out a handcuff and moves to pop it over to her wrist, adding clips over to the briefcase for extra reinforcement as they went into the limo.

The sort of thing someone would wear bearing a diplomatic missive to an embassy on a plane. Wherever you went, the bag stayed with you. They'd tear off your arm before getting to it first.

Her mind sorting through routines of proper neighborhood dialects, contingencies, dispersal of forces.. And what probabilities there were that she would runitno someone hostile,a nd how much room she had to make all of her routine work when it came to commitment and to improvisation.

"We work wiht what we hav available. Everything else we improvise when we get there." No plan survived contact with the enemy - if a plan even lasted that long.

Phil Coulson has posed:
As they are driving Phil is quiet thinking about things, and checks his watch not wanting to talk infront of the driver who was the only other person in the car. He doesn't need to tell the man where to go, as they drive directly to the tower itself the limo seeming to be ignored by the local police, and civilians as it just reaches the building. When they stopped parked inside of a parking garage the way to the elevator to the ground level with a sigh he looks over at Nat, and reaches into a pocket to remove a cloth covering his mouth. Without a word he removes from a pocket what looks to be a small spray can, and to the drivers slight complaint sprays it his way. He gets a "Nan...." before he is out passed out in the drivers seat leaving the two of them alone.

It seems they expected this guy to be their escort as the parking garage was empty of people just cars waiting for the drivers to return. Tossing the now empty can on the floor he looks at Natasha, "Good luck ambasador." he says not wanting to call her what she was in the field. He opens the door, and looks back, "Wait a few minutes, and then come in.. If we go together it might make things harder for you. Don't worry about him he is out for at least another hour."

Now outside of the car he opens the drivers side door, catching the man before he can fall out, and takes a small plastic card out of his pocket. "Will leave this at the elevator for you." and shuts the door with the driver leaned back sleeping in the drivers seat. Walking calmly he turns, and walks to the elevator, scanning the card he opens it, and chooses first floor. Before the doors shut though he places the card just outside, and then lets it close as he goes up a floor. As soon as he is on the floor it is busy again the loads of people using the elevators, and building for their work or vacation time so had no idea what was what. It was an easy walk over to the front desk to talk to the lady sitting behind the desk. "Excuse me... I am Phil Coulson I had a meeting." he stuck to english while of course he knew the different types of Japananese he did not want them to know that yet.

Directed to another elevator Phil was already on his way to the meeting as he looked at the door closing. "It's go time!" he said as if he were reasuring himself playing it off as a nervious agent not passing a message.
