Profile
Phil Coulson is an Agent of SHIELD who believes in the goodness of heroes and what they are capable of. He is dedicated to his job and to all of the agents who serve SHIELD. In some rare circumstances can sometimes be seen geeking out about what heroes are up to.
Timeline
Timeline:
* 1964: Born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Robert and Julie Coulson. He grew up admiring heroes such as Captain America and even acquired a number of vintage Captain America trading cards.
* 1970: Robert Coulson passes away.
* 1982: Coulson graduates High School.
* 1985: While at college where he is studying history, learning how SHILED shaped the times, he was recruited by SHIELD and started his training.
* 1990: With the creation of the Fantastic Four and the subsequent attack on the Baxter Building by Doctor Doom, Coulson becomes much more entrentched in any SHIELD operation centered on heroes and villains.
* 1995: SHIELD comes across a number of Kree corpses, one of which is in any kind of condition to be studied. Under the direction of Fury, Coulson has the intact body put on ice while the other bodies are studied by SHIELD scientists.
* 2009: As more and more heroes become prevelent, Coulson leads a renewed Project TAHITI to try and create a serum to "revive" any lost heroes who might be killed while battling whatever threats may face the world and humanity. Early results are not promising.
* 2012: During the events of the Global Invasion, Coulson is gravely injured while leadng a SHIELD operation. Under Fury's orders, Coulson is given the latest drug from TAHITI, this heals his wounds, but also seems to slow and even reverse some of his aging. He's not quitely as young as he once was, but at least he has some more hair than before.
* 2017: Coulson totally geeks out about Captain America being found and thawed out. Totally.

Personality
Disciplined:
Coulson is professional when representing SHIELD, which is always because he never takes time off from work. His ability to remain calm and composed is a big part of why he is a trusted member of SHIELD.
Idealistic:
Coulson believes in the goodness of people and heroes. That when things get really bad, everyone will come together to do what is right. He has dedicated his life and his service to doing the right thing, even in a field where sometimes some boundaries have to be crossed.
Loyal:
Coulson would die for Nick Fury and SHIELD. He almost did, but Nick Fury made sure that he could do it again at another time. What a great man.

Tahiti Serum:
A serum developed from the remains of a kree corpse that SHIELD found, Coulson was injected after being gravely wounded. Not only did it heal his wounds, it also helped to slow the aging process. He may be in his mid-50s, but he looks like he's in his mid-40s.

Expert Marksman:
Trained in the conventional use of normal human firearms, he has had extensive training and experience with various weapons, including those unconventional weapons that SHIELD develops.
Expert Martial Artist:
Trained in hand-to-hand combat for personal defense due to his SHIELD training. Capable of holding his own against other humans for the most part.
Expert Spy:
Coulson has been trained by the best people at SHIELD to gather intelligence and to work undercover when need be.
Expert Tactician:
An effective strategist and tactician, he's been placed in command of several SHIELD units and is also high up in the organization due to his skills.
Superhero Expert:
Coulson is a fanboy of Superheroes, particularly Captain America. He regularly reads up on heroes and their activities, both because it's his job, but also because he really really enjoys catching up on their heroics.

A modified 1962 Chevrolet Corvette that has been modified to use advanced Stark technology to become a flying car. Also, no one touches Lola.
Night-Night Pistol:
A non-lethal weapon that holds up to eight tranquilizer rounds. Perfect for putting a villian down without resorting to too much violence, especially in a very public setting.

Whatever he can requisition with SHIELD as long as it fits the parameters of his current mission.

Whitehall has been running his ridiculous 'SuperSHIELD' and Bobbi was investigating it.
Now the small teams Bobbi has been sending out to find SuperSHIELD have come back with something concrete. A secret base of operations. The mission: Infiltrate SuperSHIELD, Disrupt their operations, Rescue Bobbi and Jemma, take down Whitehall, take down Toshiro Mori. NOTE: Some of the Agents of SuperSHIELD are unaware that SuperSHIELD is actually a HYDRA operation. They are working under the pretence that they really are Agents of SHIELD's super-powered division. They have been helping SuperSHIELD find Inhumans, Mutants, and Metahumans unaware that Whitehall has been using them for genetic experimentation. WARNING: Agents of SuperSHIELD and HYDRA agents within their ranks are equiped with a new piece of technology, a watch that lets them select stolen Inhuman abilities and give them a small dose of it for a brief period of time. They should all be considered armed and extremely dangerous. |
