It's been awhile since the two have gotten to hangout due to life. So, it's taken a bit of back and forth texting, but the two have been able to arrange to meet for lunch! Mary Jane is arriving with a large purse slung over her shoulder, and an oversized baton also propped over her back that looks something like a quarterstaff that has rubber tips on the ends of it - likely something meant for a kids' karate class or something along those lines

The 'weapon' might have earned a curious glance, but otherwise? Koriand'r was just happy to see MJ again. They hadn't crossed paths in modelling and after a simple goodbye kiss they hadn't really found time for another meeting till now. Such was the life of a superhero!
Still Kori looked positively conservative in her attire by Tamaran standards as the orange-skinned alien was wrapped in a simple pair of shorts and a white shirt with the 'NASA' logo across its front.
Comfortable and perfect for a relaxed evening.

Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Hey there Kory!" She would go to jog over the Tamaranean to give her a tight hug. "Been awhile! Sorry on that. I've just been pretty busy lately. I'm guessing things have been a lot more chaotic for you though." She would move to release the far, far taller girl.
"Hope things have generally been good with you and relatively sane. I guess that might not be the best word to use though.."

A hug was likely. ever to be refused by Kori, the return firm and tight before Mary Jane signalled a desire to pull back.
"They have been relatively okay, yes! What about you? Have you been busy? More shoots? Travel?"
A little over-energetic, but it -was- Kori!

Mary Jane Watson would be picked up and lifted by KOry. Tamaraneans gave very, very big hugs. Mary Jane would wheeze and hcuckle. "Busy. Busy with life and shoots and auditions. Friend of mine is.. Possibly in a bit of trouble and is refusing to pick up his phone so I'm debating going to just break into his apartment if he doesn't pick it up." Things with MIster Parker are a bit more complicated than that..

A friend in trouble? Kori's face was immediate concern! A blink and a tilt of her head as she stepped back, one hand coming to her hip. "If you are worried, we could go there now! I am very good about breaking down doors when I need to be!"

Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Thank you! I appreciate it. But that's nto really needed. And it's.. Kind of complicated. I just know that something's.. Off with him so I figure i fhe won't get in touch with me then I'll have to do it face to face." The way sometimes the best way to resolve things. "Thanks a ton for offering ot help." KOry is given another hug

"It is no problem! I always help my friends, and others. That is what a hero should do!" A beat, she does move to sit, grasping the hot chocolate she ordered while waiting. "And any good person...but anyway, have some food or drink and relax with me!"

Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Of course. Thank you. And you're an amazing person, Koriand'r." Her settling in and going to look over the menu. "How about we go with some sushi? That's a staple here." She would look over the menu. "You ever been to Tokyo?"

A nod in agreement, but the followup question brings a smile. "Oh! I have. For modelling and to deal with a supervillain who was doing some unsavoury things. It is a very pretty city, if not a little busy."

Mary Jane Watson would nod, "I've read old stories about the.. Huge.. I guess dragon.. Thing that went after there decades ago. That always seemed a bit exaggerated but I guess there are weirder things in the galaxy. Since you've eaten there, how about you choose what to order?"

"We have seen dragons here," Kori points out, a sip of her drink taken before she nods at the offer. Of course, it was always bold to put culinary choices up to Kori, so hopefully MJ liked things spicey as the orange-skinned girl made her order in flawless japanese.

Mary Jane Watson would nod, "Yeah. This one was.. At least by the photos a lot, lot bigger." She would reply glibly over and smile. "I'm sure this will be great." she lets Kory point out on the menu and watches. "Wow, you speak that fluently?" She can tell when someone is a native speaker.
