Synopsis:	Kitty gets a tour of Roberto's brownstone.

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty Pryde finishes up work at Stark Tower. It's Sunday but she came in to the office as part of rolling out some changes to infrastructure. Which the downtime affects fewer people on the weekend, so the best time to do it.

But now she's finished. And wired on caffeine. Kitty glances at her mug, which reads "Not all superheroes wear capes", wondering how many times she filled it up today. Her coworkers often comment positively on the mug's saying, thinking it relates to their head boss, Iron Man, in some fashion. But no, Kitty just doesn't normally have a cape on her own costume which is why she liked it.

She rises from her chair and stretches. "Damn the bus sucks on the weekends," she comments to herself as she starts walking for the elevator. Kitty pulls out her phone and dictates to it, "Coming home from the city on the weekend sucks. You guys need to be around here somewhere to keep me company." She has it sent off to the usual suspects, her friends among the X-men and New Mutants.

Roberto da Costa smirks as he gets the text while working on the back deck. "Who, you telling? This being a CEO business is not for the faint of heart. Memorial Day is not a holiday in most of the world, y'all are soft." yes, he picked the y'all up from Sam he doesn't use it much." There is a pause after the rant and then Where you? If your in that monstrosity uptown, I can pick you up on the 75th floor roof garden in like 10, the one with the Magnolias." How does Berto know so much about the roof garden's of Stark Tower? Is it a you thing, a Tony thing, Pepper maybe? Hmm, but that can wait. As if you exit the elevator at that roof garden Berto is there waiting for you, looking his usual dapper self, and waiting quietly, his eyebrows raise and he smiles when you enter, "Hi, been a while."

Kitty Pryde was riding the elevator down to the bottom floor when she got the reply from Roberto. Hitting the button for a floor that she was approaching, Kitty exits the elevator and then hits the up button. It's not long before another elevator door opens and she climbs on and heads up to it as she texts back. "Yep, I'm at the tower. See you there," she sends back to Roberto, tapping away expertly on her phone with the kind of thumbs those of her generation build up on their phones.

Soon she steps out into the gardens. She's wearing a cream colored skirt and a brown blouse, and has a little laptop bag in hand.

As Kitty spots Roberto there, her eyes light up and she moves over to join him with a soft laugh. "Yes it has," she says, moving to give Roberto a tight hug and to brush a kiss to his cheek. "I didn't even know if you were in the country," she tells him.

Roberto da Costa smiles and returns the hug and the kiss he even gives her butt a little proprietary squeeze. "You clean up pretty good, need to work on your accessory game." He makes a note to order you one of Jumbo Carnation's new summer line of scarves. "He offers you his hand and shifts to vanta black, as he lifts off and pulls you after him with very little effort, holding you close but know you know how to handle yourself in the air. Flying with Berto is more like flying with Storm than with Angel, the warm thermals draw you up off the ground, before Berto wraps his arms around you and pulls you closer as the plasma field surrounds you both and the vector thrust kicks in. You are downtown at his Brownstone in moments, and he lands with the same gentleness. "Though I could give you a tour of my place? Had it for a few months."

Kitty takes hold of Roberto. She's quite comfortable getting flown about by those on her teams. It also helps that she doesn't really have to fear falling. Though it is so second nature to her that she is just enjoying the view and gently clinging to Sunspot as he flies her over the city, but quickly descending towards the brownstone.

"Oh wow, I had no idea you had something here," she comments as they are starting to set down on it and she realizes that is the destination. "I mean I figured you probably had a few places scattered about, or your company did. I didn't hear anything about you getting a place though. Great, would love to see it," she says warmly, giving Roberto's hand a squeeze and letting him lead her by it once they have touched down and he's ready to go in. "Nice view," she says with a smile as she looks out from the rooftop.

Roberto da Costa smiles and nods as he leads the way, he pauses, "Yeah the waterviews were oneof the draws, that and the off street parking. He leads her casually without expectation into his bedroom. Showing her around, showing off the closets and shower. Then the guest room and down to the media room and home office. Sharing allthe tech details the ge knows she is going to be itching to improve. He even feigns distress, "But they told me it was top of the line?!"

Kitty Pryde gushes quietly about the spacious bathroom. "You know, as great as the mansion is, the lack of this kind of private space with the bathrooms is something I feel after having lived in the city," she tells Roberto. "I mean yes we have a sauna and pool and everything. But none of those are a private space. Which, well that's good with the students. But at our age now? Kind of a bummer," she says with a soft chuckle.

Following along into the media room, Kitty checks it out thoroughly. She sticks her head into the wall to look at the cabling while Roberto is filling her in on a lot of the other details. "Well, it is pretty top of the line. But they come out with new stuff all the time," she says of his feigned distress that she maybe doesn't pick up is feigned. "I'd be happy to help you upgrade some of it though," she tells him, resting a hand on Roberto's lower back.

"So are you living the bachelor playboy lifestyle?" she asks with a grin as she sees the setup. "Lots of wild parties? Supermodels and actresses?" she asks in a teasing voice.

Then she stops as they get to the rooms with the aquariums. "Oh wow. Those are just gorgeous!" she says.

Roberto da Costa laughs and nods, "I know right?! Otto keeps me company." He points to the octopus in the smaller aquarium, who flushes peach then salmon then blue before returning to a neutral stone color as way of greeting. Berto shrugs with a grin, "Me? You know how I am, flavor of the week until someone catches my eye. There have a been a few flavors that have caught own. During the acquisition there were a couple of board members I could always share ideas with, a few models, maybe a starlet or two. Oh, there was that football player and the gymnast... this is why i need a place away from the mansion and from Mama." He nods sagely, "I am not fit to be around children."

Kitty Pryde stops by one of the aquarium tanks, looking at the fish inside. She reaches through the glass, finger brushing over the back of a shark turns and swims through her arm. That'll leave it consternated for a bit.

She grins and turns back to Roberto, just her fingertips wet. "Yes, there should probably be warning signs," she agrees, giving Roberto a little poke in the ribs. "Well, it's definitely a beautiful place. I'm surprised Sam hasn't moved in yet," she says, glancing around the expansive living area with those extra tall ceilings. "The two of you would probably create some game that involves flying around in here," she muses.

Roberto da Costa coughs, "We're still working on how to score points... " he grins and takes Kitty's wet hand drying it with a cloth. "I think he and Alexis are still trying to make it work. My bachelor lifestyle is not conducive to that." Berto shrugs with a twinkle in his eye, "I did find those ropes we had discussed. It seems there's a wandering magical market in the city, you can get anything you want, only cost me half a dozen magical vacuums." Berto grins wider and leads her out into the garden, there is food laid out, you can't be sure when it arrived or if Berto always has food laid out on the off chance guests drop by.

Kitty Pryde follows Roberto outside, an eyebrow rising in surprise to find the food there. She supposes there was time for him to have someone set it up while he was flying over to get her from Stark Tower. "I didn't mention how starving I am, did I?" she asks him, smiling over to the Brazilian young man.

"I hope it works for him. Sam and Alexis that is," she says as she'll walk over to take a seat at the table with Roberto. "I know she's had a tough time of it with her family. I imagine he's good for her to be around. Grounded," she says to Roberto.

Roberto da Costa snorts loudly, his head tilts and eyebrow raises at Kitty, "Had to go there?" He laughs, "You did not, but I do like to keep my guests well fed. My Mother would never forgive me for letting a guest leave hungry. He leads her to where the table is set up, small tbale neatly appointed there is sangria and a pitcher of Arnold Palmer. The food is tasty and generally Kosher, Berto know what kitty likes and has selected from within the realm of dishes they both enjoy, "Yeah, she has been through a lot, doesn't entirely forgive what she did with the engagement but I know that's complicated. He is and he loves her." Berto smiles it's bittersweet, "I really do hope they work it out."

It's pretty easy to tell Kitty is appreciating the food once they dig in. "I'll have to give him a call and see how he's doing," she comments of Sam between sips of sangria.

Kitty talks about work a little bit. Mentions she's doing some programming on an artificial intelligence, though doesn't go into too much detail on it beyond that. "So, ah, by the way. Did you hear about the attack at the school? And... well, I'm afraid my car didn't survive it?" she asks Roberto.

She stirs at some food on her plate. "I kind of used it to take out an armored vehicle before it could come to bear on the school," she tells him.

Roberto da Costa listens but doesn't pry, he understands NDAs and the need for institutional security, He does make a mental note to speak with his tech suppliers to see what they know and ensure that DI isn't working on something that dangerous. His security people to make sure that all the evacuations plans are up dated and the same for X-Corporation making sure the Stark Systems they use are adequately firewalled from facilities all this while idling playing with noodles.

    "Attack? No, I had turned in my grades and was working on a few other things. Trask is doing something in the third world that needs monitoring, and I'm developing an entirely new means of mitigating Hydra activity, in addition to the normal work of running a multibillion dollar international business. So... "he flashes a grin, "Busy, luckily the night club in Bludhaven is doing well and the Foot- Soccer team is coming together." He considers for a moment, "Well, I hope the loss saved lives? Has the damage been repaired and the students got out safe. He assumes that Julianna's little brother was unharmed or he'd have been notified, "... my room's okay right?" He tilts his head, "I mean she gave her life to save others, not much more you can ask... you want another one?"

Kitty takes a bite of ziti and washes it down with more sangria before answering. "Was a group of, well, they had ninjutsu training. Though they were using guns and a lot of technology too. Had someone who extruded a gas that those who breathed it said they couldn't see them anymore, any of his allies," Kitty says. "Though I was outside and didn't experience that myself. They were after Logan," she says.

Another bite is taken. "The school is ok. Jean's room took a hit from a crashing helicopter that kind of just raked the side of the building with its tail rotor. Hers was the worst of the damage though," Kitty explains. "Yeah, I phased the car into the armored vehicle to disable it. I was just getting back home when it was going down and drove in," she says. "Got burned on the barrel of a recoilless rifle I kept from hitting the school, though it's better now."

Roberto da Costa raises his eyebrows, "They came to the school to find Logan? That's bad. I mean the Stadium opening was attacked by Ninjas, they're a dime a dozen in some neighborhoods between the foot and the hand. Ninjas with guns is a little more progressive. I am surprised Jean let that happen, is she off her game? Luckily you showed up in time. I'm sure you showed them that their karate was no much for your karate?"

Kitty Pryde has posed:
"Well, Jean was the one who brought down the helicopter," she says. "But I think they managed to get through our security and into the entryway to the school before they were detected. Logan lead them off and was missing for awhile. But some of the team were able to recover him," she explains.

She lets out a sigh. "I'm just happy no one was seriously hurt." Kitty finishes up her food and then gently pushes her plate back. "I wasn't expecting a meal," she tells Roberto. "Thank you."

Roberto da Costa smiles and nods with a chuckle, "I mean I can take out a helicopter. That's disappointing. Ooh, Scott's gotta be pissed. We really need to have that system upgraded something Atlantean or Wakandan. I mean Shi'ar security tech doesn't even pass muster at the space port. I am glad as well. Berto stops and looks over at Kitty, "I wasn't expecting company so thank you, I mean I still have to show you were the gym is, we could work off the meal." He smiles and pushes back from the table.
