Synopsis:	Mary Jane and Koriand'r meet at Joe's Diner.

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Having set aside some time ahead of time to meet with Koriand'r, Mary Jane is settling down over at a table. SHe takes a moment to look about, seeing a poster of several of those famous characters that are set to the tune of 'The Merry Go Round Broke Down' andg oes to let out a smile over while glancing at it. "Well, I guess it is advertising.."

Koriand'r has posed:
As ever, a meeting with the Koriand'r isn't exactly subtle. Flying somewhere in that rush of green energy -and- being a tall alien with orange skin and almost glowing hair did tend to make one a little more noticable. Still, as she touched down there was a spring in her step. Happy, joyful...and excited as ever to spot MJ as she moved through the door. Positive personified as always!

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would smile, "Hey there Carrot Top, how you doing?" SHe goes to jog over towards Koriand'r to give her a big hug. "How have things been going with modeling and with the Titans? Have you been enjoying yourself and staying busy?"

Koriand'r has posed:
"Carrot top?" A blink, puzzlement crossing those features as she looks down at her attire. The purple top that despite its long sleaves ended just under her bust and the small and simple purple shorts she wore, each adorned with a green stone that looked like some bright emerald brought a little frown. "I did not realise I had food on me!" Oh look, another idiom that Koriand'r didn't know!

Still she sweeps into the hug, tight and firm before finishing with a light peck to the cheek and then nodding her head. "There is much keeping me occupied, but it has been quite fun!"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would giglge, "It's a term for someone with red hair. You're carrot from head to toe so it seemed to fit." She would go to give a quick hug to KOriand'r, having to stand up on tiptoe to do it. "I'm really glad that you've been doing well. Thank you for setting the time aside to hang with me. I brought you a present. It's a story about someone that at some level made me think of you." SHe reaches down over to her purse and takes out a package that's carefully wrapped in ribbon to give over to the Alien Princess.

Koriand'r has posed:
"Oh. Because I am orange and red? That makes sense," Koriand'r offers lightly in understanding before coming to move to settle in a chair only to blink at the package and tilting her head. "Oh! What is this? Is there a day of celebration or gift giving I was not aware of or...?" she trails off, actually blushing a little. "Is this a customary thing for one who you are having a 'date' with after a certain amount of time?"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would grin over, "Well, it's as you're special to me and really fun, and I wanted to give you a small thing I though tyou owuld enjoy." The book is 'John Carter of Mars'. "It's one of the first popular science fiction books from what's called the pulp era. There's a character in it that reminds me of you a lot. Dejah Thoris of Barsoom."

Koriand'r has posed:
Unexpected! But exciting in its own way. It wasn't often that someone would gift Kori something like a book, after all there was this assumption that because she could absorb a language in moments there was little need despite her own struggles with finer detail. Giving an excited nod she reaches a hand out, taking Mary's own. "This is wonderful, I will have to read it...and I must repay you!"

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would smile, "You're welcome dear. And you don't have to repay me anything . you give a gift to a freind because they mean something to you and it's a way to show them you appreciate them. You don't owe me anything. A gift comes with no conditions attached to it. You're repaying me by spending time with me out."

Koriand'r has posed:
"That is not a payment, it is most enjoyable for me too!" she offers lightly before squeezing that captive hand again and then leaning back. "I can at least pay for our food, yes? Or perhaps you might like to go flying somewhere nice after the meal? The city can be quite beautiful from up high."

Mary Jane Watson has posed:
Mary Jane Watson would smile, "If you would like to? Really, you don't have to. But yes, that would be lovely. And I would love flying." SHe's gone slinging before.. But it's not quite the same as flying. "That sounds like a perfect way to spend time together."
