Kitkat has posed:
A diary page: The Outworld is strange. The Gloworb is moving, at times there's water coming from the sky and the number of proper Cat People seems to be almost non existant. People pay with prayer slips to magicians who have their names and places of power printed on them, and some of the ugly monkeys offer ice cold meat for just showing that you know how to punch. Though even if they pay well, the meat also spoils within a couple days out here. Till now, the Adventure has not brought me too much closer to any of the lost gems.

As outside, water pours from the sky, Kitkat was sitting in the abandonned appartment building, staring outside. There's a book resting on the floor, a rough map of some of New York sketched on the open pages, next to it lies a Zweihander on a couple of blankets.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp was hired to check out a guy, who was cheating on his wife. It turns out they ere using a seedy hotel near an abandoned building. With the rain and the dreariness Chimp figured he could get good enough pictures from the other building. If he needed pictures of them in the act, well he could get them when it was not raining cats and dogs. As he comes in an upstairs window, he shakes the water off, his jacket, and takes his hat off shaking it. He pauses though as a smell hits him amongst the normal smells, there is something odd there.

Kitkat has posed:
There's the smell of meat slowly decaying and there's the smell of feline. Not a hint of fire or cooking though. But judging from the amount of smell, it wouldn't be a dead body rotting, but butchered meat that was close to going off. A considerable amount of it though.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will make his way towards the smell. His own wet fur may give him away a bit, but after the last "odd cat" smell he encountered, he is on guard, and does call out "Hello? Anyone here?"

Kitkat has posed:
The smell did give him away, but the call out was what made Kitkat turn and pick up the sword and brace it against the ground, standing next to a wall. There was a pile of beef cuts, and next to the door, some cutoffs that were going off much mire than the cuts - someone had cleaned up the beat somewhat by slicing. "I am."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over and says "I come in peace. not looking to leave in pieces." He says seeing the woman an her sword as he steps closer. His own weapon still in it's shoulder holster. "I thought I smelled someone else here in the building, and figured best to introduce myself than run into one another on accident.

Kitkat has posed:
The eyebrow line of the Calico shifted a little as the Chimpanzee spoke, the blade getting a slight nudge to make it a tad easier to move fast as the ape closed in. "You smelled. Seems like not all Outworlders are deaf on the nose." she noted.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp 's brow raises a bit and says "Outworld? I take it your not from around here then." He offers and says "I'm Detective Chimp, and in case you have not noticed, I am not quite like most folks outside."

Kitkat has posed:
"Of course, Outworld is full of Humans. You clearly are none." Kitkat observed, one hand on the hilt of the Zweihander, the other slowly sinking to the side, but not giving up preparedness so far. "Outworld because the Land Within is where I started my adventure."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp hmms a bit to this and has heard of a few places, and had some odd adventures himself "Well, if I may ask your name, and what adventure brings you here?"

Kitkat has posed:
"Kitkat, and the quest to repair an artifact partially stripped of its gems long ago." she explained, the bracelet or bracer at her wrist getting a little turn at the notion.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp reaches into his jacket slowly withdraws a flash and takes a sip out of it, before offering it out to the cat lady. The smell of booze is obvious from it "Well, I take it from your mannerisms and speech your pretty new here. Perhaps I can help, as I said I am a detective, a guy who finds people and things if you will."

Kitkat has posed:
Kitkat winces at the smell of booze, shaking the head slowly. "I know what they are, not how they look like or where they are. They are gems, fitting into the holes of the band. But that's about it." This only limits it to all orbs of about half inch spheres.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods a bit to this and will take another sip, before capping the flask and putting it away. He hmmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "Do you know where and when they were taken? If there is any info you can give me I might be able to help some.

Kitkat has posed:
"They were lost over many generations from the Land Within, so who knows where they are. The Styx might have brought them anywhere, or so they say." Kitkat says, shaking the head slowly again. "The band will know when one of its lost gems is near."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp 's brow raises a bit and says "As in the River Styx, or another styx?" He will ask her, and moves to lean against the wall, thinking and listening. He does study her and the equipment she has to try to help her figure out more about her.

Kitkat has posed:
"Is there another Styx that is not a river?" Kitkat counter-inquires, eyes narrowing some. Her sword... bore a maker's mark on the blade, but that wasn't any smith on earth. But the Land Within... That was a place in Hades. A pocket realm so to say.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over and says "Well possibly in a few different cultures, but with most of the stories about Styx in this world, there are normal human looking people not a lot of animalistic folks."

Kitkat has posed:
"I can't tell you about those I must admit, for I don't know such stories." Kitkat countered, shrugging.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods a bit to this and says "Well, finding your way up here in the outerworld maybe a bit different than your used to." He hmmms a bit says "I might be able to connect you with some folks who might be able to help you. I know a few folks in the magical community who maybe able to help."

Kitkat has posed:
"I will see when it comes to that... You want some ribs before they go off?" Kitkat points to some of the good meat gathered, a rough gesture.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will look over and says "Sure." He will check it out and takes a chunk that is ok. "Mind if I take a pic of your bracelet to show a few people and see if I can find out anything to help you?"

Kitkat has posed:
Kitkat does not seem to mind the inspection of the meat, but as he mentions taking a picture, the wrist with it is put behind her back. "I would prefer not to have it show to others.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods his head a bit to this and though his brow raises, he does not press the matter "Does it have a name, that you can tell me or anything along those lines?"

Kitkat has posed:
"It's.... a bracelet holding, or so the inscription goes, fine feline souls embedded in gems." Kitkat answered, tracing the inscription with the hand on which bracelet it was.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp hmms a bit and nods his head a bit to this. "A bracelet holding feline spirits?" He hmmms and scratches his chin in thought at this. He nods his head a bit more and says "I will look into a few things and see if I can find any info? Do you stay here normally?"

Kitkat has posed:
"Souls." Kitkat corrects, shaking her head at the other second question. "I move as I can. This place is just offering a roof against the rain, and I got tired of lugging the meat. Had to trim it. It spoils so fast in the Outworld, and it is not warm enough to make it dry."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over and says "It might help out if you had a place you can call your home. I know a few other cat people who maybe able to help you out."

Kitkat has posed:
"Is one of them purple and the other striped?" Kitkat inquires, tilting the head a little. "They never gave their name, but cautioned to cover the blade out on the roads."

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp shakes his head a bit and says "Purple, know, but I do know a striped one or two, but I was thinking more introducing you to Sally. She is a lioness, and is watching over some other animal people. They come from a vastly different background than you but she would probably be willing to help you find a way to get yourself a place to stay and such.

Kitkat has posed:
"I will look into it... but I don't got plans but the quest to complete the band once again. Who might be the striped ones you know? Sally the lioness does not sound like she is stiped and clad in black leather with claws and teeth and a medallion of cat." Kitkat retorts.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods a bit and says "That sounds a bit more like Tigra." He will pull his phone out and pulls up a picture of Tigra sitting behind a desk while she was hosting a gameshow.

Kitkat has posed:
Kitkat freezes at the name. Tigra. "THE Tigra?" she asks, the picture only seeming to confirm the words, as she nods and almost reverently looks at the picture.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp nods, and says "I know her more in passing, might be able to contact her, if your wanting to talk to her."
