Cast of Characters: Micola Maximoff, Pietro Maximoff

Micola Maximoff has posed:
The temps were dropping and that meant that the leaves were starting to change colors. Micola had been much more active given the seasons were changing and that meant they were getting closer to Autumn. While Pietro was a fan of Winter, his wife favored Autumn and Spring. The twins were down for a nap and that had left Mic with some quiet time to gather up her boxes of Halloween decorations and start unpacking them in her studio.

The large windows were open, letting in fresh air to the room. There were new paintings that had been started, given she hadn't painted in the past five months that might be a good sign to see.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
He didn't dislike Autumn, it just wasn't his absolute favorite. It was nice, though - the scents blowing through the air. He'd been making sure everyone was snoozing happily, the girls tucked in and blanketed against any chill. After a few rounds about the house, he came to stop in the studio.

There's a smile on Pietro's face, admiring his wife. "So, what are we unpacking?" He asks, stepping in at a normal pace. "Anything I can help with?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"We are unpacking Halloween." Micola gives a grin to that as she pulls a couple of smaller boxes from the one big tote she was dealing with. "My mom also gave us some of the old Halloween decorations as well." she admits. "And I bought a twelve foot skeleto to put out on the road up to the house. I'm sure that's going to go over well." she laughs at that.

Then she gives him a look, "If you want to help me unbox stuff you can." she states with a smile to him. "Were the girls alright? All snug for their naps?" she asks as she looks at the door that leads off to the nursery from her studio. "Wondering what adorable things we can dress them up as for Halloween." she muses.

"Do you have any Halloween requests?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
The man thinks on that, looking at the contents of the boxes as he does. "Did she now. Are they ones you made?" Pietro wonders, grinning over the festive Halloween items she has unpacked already. "A twelve foot skeleton. That should fit in, I am sure. It's not like it would be the weirdest thing I've seen."

"The girls are fine - sleeping happily." He says, even as he makes quick - careful - work of unboxing things. Pietro is great to have on your side for things like this! "Did you have ideas in mind for costumes then? Onesies they can be fit into?" A grin. "My requests... I don't know. I was thinking we could attend a ball or something, all fancy, if we have your mother's permission." She'd have to watch the twins of course1

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"No, they are just ones she's gotten over the years. She's not decorating that much and figured since we had all the space that the girls might like them. And it's nice to have some of my childhood around." she admits to that. "I'm glad you aren't going to mind the twelve foot skeleton." she giggles to that.

"They sleep so well, I feel like as they get older they won't sleep at all." she sighs softly to that. "I have no ideas as of yet. Might not go too crazy given they are just going to be a few months old." she states. "Oh we can find a ball to go to. I'd like that." she smiles to him. "Do you think we'll get trick or treaters up here?" she asks him. "Mom is always happy to watch the girls, I can talk to her on it so it's not just assumed though." she nods to that.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
Pietro grins, looking over the decorations as he'd unpacked them. "I think this will make the house festive." He glances around again. "What about our other-worldly friends? Do they enjoy Halloween?" The man wonders, in earnest. "Is it a good time for them, or troublesome?"

"I am sure when teething starts, there will be plenty of sleepless nights." A wry grin to his wife. "So let's enjoy their slumber for now, yes? I check on them often, of course... it's peaceful." A nod. "I imagine the Hellfire Club might have a ball this holiday season. And I would never take your mother for granted - so yes, talking to her first is a must."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"I think it will." Micola agrees with him. "Some of them enjoy it. Ghosts are very finicky sometimes. But for the most part they either don't understand or they don't like it. Sometimes there are some that are stuck here that aren't as old as some others that remember the holiday." she explains. "The veil is thin, so it's a good time for them to commune with the living." she adds.

"I'm happy enjoying their slumber, even if I do miss them being up and grouchy." she chuckles. There's a quirk of her eyebrow at the mention of Hellfire Club, "Was that the place with everyone in their underwear?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
An oh from Pietro. "I might see her around, then?" He wonders, glancing to see if their friend might be seen now. "And we can keep our daughters safe from any unsavory ones?" He guesses, his hand stroking at Micola's arm. "Wards and protections?"

"Yes, that place." He chuckles. "Though we can wear more clothing, obviously." He winks to her. "They are a bit decadent around the holidays."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"You might." Micola smiles to that. "So far we've not had any unwanted visitors. I've not done a lot of exploring into the forested areas though." she points out. "I think when it gets cooler it might be nice to bundle the girls up and go for walks. It might keep everyone from being stir crazy." she admits. "We have Wards and Protections, yes. My families safety is priority. Even if I trust some of the ghosts." she comments.

Then there is a soft chuckle, "I'm sure it will be fun and yes, I'd prefer to wear more clothes than they were." she states. "Have you talked to Wanda or Lorna lately?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
A smile. "I think it would be wonderful to check out the woods with the girls. Nice stroller walk. We have those ones with the big tires, that should work for walking paths in the forest." Pietro admits. A thankful nod at the mention of the wards and protections. "Do I need to do anything to enact them or?"

"No, I have not spoken to either recently." A slight frown at that.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"We've got more than a few ways to transport them. Just have to figure out which ways are best." Micola grins at that. "And debate how long it takes them to go to sleep." she muses to that. "And no, you don't need to do anything to enact them. They were up before we moved in." she smiles at that.

She steps in to hug him when he frowns, "I know Lorna is probably busy with all of the Mutant protests and things. Maybe just call them?" she offers. "We could have them out for birthday dinner since it's right around the corner?" she adds with a soft smile.
