They had recently come -back- from wherever the MOther Box had sent them to and then taken them away.. And now as promised Natasha is having a talk voer with Scott. She's standing over in the Mansion in the training area, even as various computers along the hypernetwork go to scan data files. New Genesis. Treaty. Highfather.. Treaty. All of these rapidly blasting along the info-net and seeing what, if anything they come up with.

Natasha has a strong sense that every single search will come up negative. So that means that they have to talk directly. Which may not yield anything particularly fruitful.

Scott Free has posed:
Scott Free came in, his usual cheerfulness gone. He looked like a man who'd had all his sins come to light. this was what Jean val Jean felt when Javert kept runnng into him, when Thenardie pegged him for a prisoner. That was a good assessment of what he was. He'd gotten away and now the guards were onto him. He sits at a table and stares into a cup of lukewarm coffee he'd brought.

He begins talking, "I'm older than I look. I came here in the seventies. Before that, well time runs differently in different places in the Cosmos. Let's say '50'. My time before that, I wasn't really living. I'm about fifty and I am a god. I can't die naturally, which is no big deal in our line of work."

Natasha Romanoff has posed:
Natasha Romanova would turn over to Scott, "Your age doesn't matter. We all have our own life experiences that have tested us." She would go to watch over at him. "Where were we taken? And what is the threat at the other end of it?" She keeps it simple, for now.

Taking a breath. "And know you and Barda are trusted here. We will protect you and help stop any who threaten you. you are Avengers."

Scott Free has posed:
Scott Free nods. "We went to the Fourth World, a closed off little eddy in the Universe. There were four worlds: the First is the Source. The Source is the power of Creation itself. The Second World was that of the Old Gods. We called it Ugrun. the Old Gods died in a war. Two planets formed from it. Apokolips is where we went, a hell world. It's ruled by monsters, who you met, briefly. The other world was New Genesis, a paradise, where I was born. We consider the Oans to have come before us, but not by much, so this Universe is the Third World. Apokolips and New Genesis is the Fourth World and we are the New Gods. We were at war..."

Natasha Romanova would listen over and go to consider, "This is.. Interesting." Something that is above her ken. "You should if you.. Feel appropriate on it talk with Doctor Richards. He would find this fascinating." Natasha closes her eyes as he goes to speak of hell worlds, abominations, and monsters. Too many of them.
