Cast of Characters: Kitkat, Selina Kyle

Kitkat has posed:
The officially abandonned Warehouses in the Bronx don't always seem to stay abandonned, especialy at night, and epecially not if there is money to be had. Old shipping containers have been stacked to surround a square, and metal grating has been put down over the top, welded down but for an access hatch next to a chain ladder. The raised top is a wild buzzle of people gawking down into the pit and people exchanging paper slips with bets for cash.

But the real spectacle is down in that square. Woodchips line the floor, at times clumped up with fluids, disturbed by the feet of people... people that fight for the amusement of the people watching from above. Fighting with nigh no rules.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Selina Kyle knows about the pit fights, of course. As Catwoman she knows a lot about what goes on in Gotham's underworld. It's a slow night, so tonight Catwoman is perched in the shadows on one of the catwalks, looking down at the spectacle below. And not just at the fighters, either. She focuses as much on the spectators as well.

Kitkat has posed:
For some reason, the mix is somewhat wild. Like, there's three, four mortal enemies that are standing there to watch, tough not too close to one another. Like, they called a truth for the evening... or... they are just there to witness something?

As the minutes go by, the fights below the grating continue. But at no point is the hatch opened to retrieve anyone. People enter and leave from the containers that make up the ring. Some of the fighters clearly aren't humans, but just like the humans, they rotate out after one, two fights. At some point, a feline fighter enters, fighting a brute with a shiny chitin exoskeleton.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman is starting to get bored. After all, she sees fights all the time now that she is helping to shoulder some the the vigilante load. She checks the time, and is starting to look for the same rooftop entrance she used when the feline fighter enters the ring.

Okay, that's got her attention, now.

It's pretty clear that the containers are used for staging the new fighters and probably for triage on the losers. She increases the magnification on her goggles just a little to get a closer look.

Kitkat has posed:
The fight under the grates starts with the guy that is called 'Scarab' lunging at the Calico that seems to go by Kitkat, though some bets are made upon the Killer Kat. The swings are however dodged, the feline almost mocking the stocky guy with the chitin armor by staying just two, three inches away of them. As the time goes on, she even yawns after some more lame swings, responding with a knee right against that chitnous chest. Not that it seems to stop him, or even slow him, but it's first contact.

Switching from odging to attacking, the feline doesn't stop playing with 'Scarab', clearly not using her full strength and speed as she hits and drives the guy through the ring. He seems to be able to take it. Apparently someone in the crowd above doesn't like the way the fight is going, yelling down to the fighters to actually give them blood, but it only seems to further Scarab's attempts to land at least one hit, only to be barely dodged.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Selina Kyle gets a pretty decent view from her perch, but she wants a closer look. The cat burglar slinks down from the catwalk, using her whip to quietly lower herself the last bit. Shaking it loose, she coils it neatly against her hip and pads closer to the crowd.

Easing between a pair of spectators and side-slipping a couple more, the feline-themed woman finds herself shoulder-to-shoulder with the ones at the front.

A calico. Interesting. Just for curiosity's sake, she tries to get a sense of the Killer Kat's emotions during the fight.

Kitkat has posed:
Kitkat... isn't even breaking a sweat or so it seems to Selina, even if she is at least trying some showmanship. But she also seems to grow bored, evident as she delivers a hard upwards puch under the chin that sends the Scarab flying up, right into the grating. A throw that sends the armored guy almost three feet up and against the steel. The sudden smack does get the watchers to halt a moment, the dropping scarab however doesn't even get a chance to react. Instead, she spins around and lands a heavy hit that sends him flying back into the wall of the ring. Some yellowish ooze and a dent are left where he impacts, and as he doesn't get up to his feet despte being alive, some assistant pulls him into the container behind.

If this was Street Fighter, someone would have just smacked a Shouryuuken followed Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku playing Ken.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Selina Kyle stands there in the front with the spectators, arms folded over her chest and dressed all in custom, black leather. Anyone who spends any time on the streets has at least heard of her, but right now the focus is on what's happening in the pit below.

Red lips pull into a small smile as she watches the Kat play with her opponent before dispatching him. "Good kitty." she offers, half under her breath. The words might be enough to break the spell and draw some unwanted attention her. Or maybe not. She watches down into the pit to see whether there's going to be another opponent.

Kitkat has posed:
Some of the spectators do look to Selina, but most wait for the next fighter or so it seems. A container wall is pushed aside before they send in the next one. A huge guy, naked but for his pants and hairy all over. Almost a wild man, the arms buging with muscles. As he enters with a roar, claws spring from the fingers, proving him to be not just a bad Zangief clone, but something more.

The feline fighter isn't up for games though, cracking knuckles as she lets the guy pose for two, three seconds before she darts in, giving him a bodycheck that manages to move the colossus, together with the cat. It also opens her to a heavy swing, bear claws drawing a bloody scratches. Impacting the container, Kitkat answers with a heavy punch against the lower body, through without much effect. It's the other hand that makes the bear flinch and stop in movement though, as the clawed feline hand shredds some clothes and closes around very sensitive jewels. She whispers someting to the hulking figure, the bear of a male going white before franticly tapping against the container to surrender.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Selina Kyle gazes down into the pit, goggles covering her eyes and concealing most of her expression. Her upper lip twitches into a smile when she sees what the Kat does to win. There are more than a few boos from the crowd, but Catwoman looks more amused than anything else. While everyone's attention is focused in the pit, she slips through to the back of the crowd again.

Catwoman knows how this is going to end. That's two fights for Kat, so either she'll be shuffled out of the order or bad things are about to happen. Dropping quietly from the container, she blends into the shadows and looks around for the way in... or more importantly out... of the fighting ring. Just in case. Cats have to stick together, right?

Kitkat has posed:
As the bear taps out, a particularly lean enforther throws open the hatch, then takes off his own shirt as he prepares to get in himself to replace the chicken fighter, but the Calico is ready herself. A jump and her claws cling into the grating, then she catapults herself up through the open hatch. Giving the enforcer a kick so he stumbles where he was heading anyway, two summersaults bring her back to the edge of the container fort, through surprised onlookers towards one of the betting men, and then right past. A fist full of large bills in hand, a salto gets her off the roof back to the ground level, just a few yards from Selina, an this time, with a happy grin as that maneuver - which is followed by a lot of surprised screaming and some furious shouting from one side but also cheers from their enemies. After all, someone just lost their pants. And others... just yell at the guy that just joined the cage to fight the bear... and apparently the bear *does* considering how the sound of bones cracking can be heard even over the crowd.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Selina Kyle watches the commotion on top of the crates, followed by the screaming and at last the dismount. Kitkat lands with a grin, and she hears close by the sound of leather on leather as Catwoman slowly claps her hands.

"Nicely done, kitten, but I don't think you'll be a headliner here after your closing act." Stepping out of the shadows, she asks. "You got a getaway car close by? I could always ride you double on my bike, if not."

Kitkat has posed:
"I you're offering, sure! Macroni might want blood for that, but hey, it was a job!" Grinning as she darted for the door, gesturing for Selina to lead the way, Kitkat is clearly in good mood. "Tell you on the way, lady!"
