Cast of Characters: Pietro Maximoff, Micola Maximoff

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
The holidays have come and gone - a great dinner shared with her mother and Grandfather, were he able to make it. The girls had their first bit of mashed potatoes and gravy. Quite the mess was made, but everyone had a wonderful evening.

As is the tradition in many homes, the next few days were full of turkey leftovers. Tonight was no exception, with Pietro making plates for each of them as Micola set the girls down for sleep. He hummed to himself, making sure everything was heated up and at proper temperature. The pie was chilling in the fridge still, along with the whipped cream. Thank goodness his metabolism was what it was.

"Micola? Food is ready." He offers out, his voice soft as to not overly disturb the girls getting sleep.

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola had been a little over the moon about this being their first holiday season married and as parents. It was honestly still a little bit surreal for the woman. Her mother and grandfather had always gotten along and this was good given they were the only two people Micola had during her childhood. She wanted the girls to have all of their family. Even their other grandfather. Plus they had Aunts to meet!

Micola pads back down the hallway and down the stairs as she hears Pietro telling her that food is done. She gives a smile as she enters the kitchen, "Thank you, love." she murmurs to him as she heads over to him. "Happy to have the house back to semi-normal?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
A smile as she enters, nodding. "I loved having your family... our family here." He clarifies. "But there is something to be said for the quiet and comfort of the home as it is. Our girls, you and I." A slight chuckle as he sets the food down at the table. "I think it went well, though. I think the girls were more interested in squishing the potatos in their fingers than eating them, at first."

"Did you want something in particular to drink?" He asks, leaning in to sneak a kiss to her cheek. "And how are you feeling after hosting?"

Micola Maximoff has posed:
Micola looks a bit amused, "And the ghosts." she states.

Yes, even the ghosts.

There is a happy laugh when he speaks on the girls just wanting to squish potatoes. "Honestly it is fun and they can get away with it at their age. I however cannot." she grins to that. "I will take a water, not really feeling like anything too heavy along with the leftovers." she admits.

"I was nervous, but I think everything went well. How did you feel about it? I was sad that your father did not make an appearance." she admits.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
"Yes, the ghosts. Did they have a good time?" Pietro asked honestly. It's not like he can tell, after all. "And yes, they were adorable - if messy." A wry grin as he gets her a bottle of water, as well as one for himself. A blink. "Did you want to smush the potatos too?" He laughs.

"I am happy I get along with your family. It is a blessing that there are no personality clashes." He looks relieved at that, for certain. "And I am glad my family is not a problem for them, either."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"They are happy to have people in the house again. They seem to be protective of the girls, which isn't bad. It's nice to be able to talk to them and not just know they are there and can't converse with them." Micola states. "I'd let you know immediately if there was anything angry in the house." she adds. She shifts her eyes back and forth when he asks the potato question, "Possibly." she states with a wink.

"I mean, your dad used to run the Brotherhood and my grandfather was a Mafia Don so...they have a fair amount in common. Both trying to make things better for their families." she smiles to that. Or hopefully it went that way.

"Did you want to watch something while we eat or just chatter?" she asks him.

Pietro Maximoff has posed:
His hand reaches over to touch hers. "I am happy conversing with you..." A wink. "But we can put on a movie after, if you like?" Pietro suggests. "I am glad they watch over our daughters. I hope they know I am appreciative of them." He smiles.

"True. Both have strong personalities. I am glad they aren't opposed." A smirk. "And yes, no matter the perception - my father was trying to make things good for his children."

Micola Maximoff has posed:
"I'm pretty sure that they know." Micola tells him with a gentle smile. "And I wanted to talk to you on a few ideas I had about the New Year. I know it might be a little early, but...no better time." she admits.

There is a bit of a chuckle as he talks on their 'parents', "My grandfather has taken years to master not getting upset. It is not pretty if he does." she explains. She doesn't elaborate on that. She doesn't seem to be traumatized by it though.
