Date of Scene: 13 December 2023
Location: Carol Danver's Rural House
Synopsis: Kara introduces Sing to Aladdin and Disney Movies but they are sidetracked by conversations about what Sing and Kara can be and are now.
Cast of Characters: Singularity, Kara Danvers

Singularity has posed:
After a short phone conversation where Singularity and Kara made plans for a date, it had been decided instead of going out in public and setting the media abuzz that Supergirl had a new alien beau. Not that Sing would have minded the attention. At all. But it made Kara more comfortable, supposedly. At least that was Sing's thought process.

So having agreed to meet at Carol's place - because she had all the streaming services - a small periwinkle portal opens, expands and out pops the blue girl made of stars into Kara's space as she swirled around the living room. "Singularity! Is! Here!" she announces in excitement, all the little stars and galaxies swirling around within her as she looks around for Kara. "Movie night!" offered chipperly, she lowers to be closer to the floor.

Kara Danvers has posed:
It was less to do about what Kara is or isn't comfortable with and the incracies of having an alternate Identity. Which hits right at the roost of Supergirl's concerns regarding pretending to be human. Suffice to say that she has NO problem being seen in public with Singularity, far from it, and more to do with she just doesn't want their date bombarded by lookieloo's who clammer for an autograph.

MOVIE NIGHT!

Kara has been getting all the things ready. The popcorns and the various different flavored salts for said popcorn. The finger snacks like little cute sandwiches with cucumber and zeki sauce because she throws down in the kitchen, contrary to the Chicken Incident of 2023.

"Hey babe." She calls out when feeling the familiar pop, grin curling when she hears the excitement in Sing's voice. Padding over to her in comfortable clothes meant for snuggling, yoga pants and a t-shirt, with two bowls of popcorns, a couple super unhealthy sugary drinks, and a tray of finger foots. Right over to Sing to give her a sweet kiss on the nose, "I hope you have not seen Aladdin."

Singularity has posed:
Please, lookieloos would be scared off by a girl who looks like that she would draw them into her and they would never escape. Maybe they can have a date in Japan. Kara said she's big there. And Sing isn't quite sold that doesn't mean physically.

As she takes in all the unfamilar smells, the white eyes open wider in excitement. "Smells good!" comes her chirpped reply, the twinkle in her voice bright and vibrant as she spins around to find Kara.

While the tinyverse does not need food or substance, the fact that Kara is setting it all out like she's a /real/ person of flesh and blood is not lost on her and touches something deep within the void of her cosmos, igniting to life a small, swirling powerful light of a galaxy that will develop size and shape.

She meets Kara halfway, arms around the blonde Kryptonian, getting in a sneak hug that Kara can't resist because her arms are full. Muhahaha!

The kiss on her nose makes her cross her eyes to look at it and she giggles and leans up to kiss Kara's chin before slipping back out of the embrace.

She's in her usual stars. As she is most times, she is bare of clothing. Except. She has her hair pulled back in a braid that hangs to the small of her back, all those galaxies and stars floating within. And at the bottom of that braid is a dark purple bow. Kara has seen it before. But she may start to realize it is something special to the little universe.

"I have not seen Aladdin. Have seen a few other movies!"

Kara Danvers has posed:
The stuff in this universe sees is astronomical.

If they went on a date in New York, nobody would even bat an eye.

Still, there's a hug to contend with and Kara is powerless to prevent it (even though she definitely wouldn't have!)! A bright grin errupts on her face and she nuzzles the side of the Galaxy's neck, then steps towards the couch with a little hip bump to draw her along with her. Bowls set out, platters, all the things!

So many of the things.

"This is adorable." She says, reaching out to touch the bow without displacing it from where it is being used to tie back Sing's hair. Once seated, however, she turns her hips and brings her legs up on the cushion, reaching out for the remote to start the movie once Sing has found a comfortable, HOPEFULLY CUDDLY, place to sit and watch. "Well, you are going to love it and then be annoyed as heck that I sing all of the songs because I love Aladdin."

Singularity has posed:
Once Kara is down, Singularity is into her lap. It is the most comfortable place in the house, if you ask her. When the bow is touched, Singularity looks over her shoulders. She smiles, but Kara can see a flicker of sadness in it. "First gift ever given. Only gift ever given. By Nico. In other reality." she explains quietly. "She played with hair. Put bow in. Made me feel like I was with her."

And then she's resting her back further against Kara, ducking down so her hair doesn't get in the way of television viewing. "Would like to hear you sing. You have pretty voice." she admits. "You speak other language." A pause as she looks thoughtful and reaches for some popcorn to absorb into her membrane. "I can learn languages. Quickly. Same day. But can only understand. Not speak."

Kara Danvers has posed:
That little bit of sadness brings a frown out of Kara, she clearly hadn't meant to bring up bad memories. "It is very lovely." Not a dismissal, but not digging should Sing not want to continue thinking about what she had lost. In her hand, the hair at the end of the braid fleets from her fingers like water blessed with the stars in it, smiling softly when she leans forward to kiss the Universe's shoulder affectionately, and reassuringly.

"Well, you are definitely going to hear it.. I cannot help myself with Disney movies. Once you have, you will try to get me to shut up, probably put a sock in my mouth." The grin grows a little humored, then her head tilts. "If you want. I much prefer to speak Kryptonian, it is easier for me.. I have learned enough English to communicate, obviously, but some of the vinacular people use is confusing still."

Singularity has posed:
The kiss to her shoulder brings a smile to Sing's lips. The bow was a nice gift. "Reminder. I am real." she explains to Kara. "And I feel." her hand reaches and grips the Kryptonian's, sliding to lace their fingers together. She is reassured. She knows that she is wanted.

"Please teach. You only need to speak for a few minutes. Will learn by ear." That is said teasingly, as Kara knows the ears are just for decoration. "You like these movies? Will watch all of them with you." she promises quietly.

"You need not worry." she decides suddenly. "I miss my friends. But gave up that reality. So they can live. No longer exists. Was sad for a while. Came here. This is where I wanted to be. This is where I am." She turns a little to face Kara. "With you." she adds.

A warm smile touches her lips and she leans in, kissing Kara's cheek. "Always with you." she promises and turns to cuddle back into Kara's arms to face the screen.

Kara Danvers has posed:
For a few moments, Kara speaks in an unfamiliar language. It sounds regal, imposing, but also gentle in a way that mixes beautifully over extended vowels which take shape as continues to speak. ".... -Always. .... Now that you're here, I'll never let you go. ... I only ever want you to be happy, even though I know that's unrealistic... nobody is always happy. It just.. well you understand." At least she assumes she does as more of the words start to become coherent.

Until finally she's nolonger speaking English at all and, therefore, no longer need to use ansi. We just know she's speaking Kryptonian.

"Oh, well, we'll have plenty to keep us busy! When will we have time for..." Hand out, bowl grabbed and laid in Sing's lap, "... popcorn! I like to call them frozen explosions." Holding one individual popped kernal up to illustrate what she means. "See? It's an explosion that froze and you eat it." Held out towards Sing's mouth, while Aladdin begins. The Trader telling a story of an Arabian Night.

Singularity has posed:
When Kara starts to speak with that heavy Swedish lit combined with an artistic beauty she can't quite put a finger on, Sing almost forgets to pay attention to the movie. It's gorgeously distracting. And while she doesn't understand those first few words, she's starts to pick up around 'always happy'.

"Explosion!" Sing repeats with a giggle. It's the first true sign that the little universe has started to understand Kryptonian. "Though I have had popcorn." comes the playful retort as she wriggles against Kara. "Ate it when watching movie. Researching how to ask you on date. Be girlfriend." she explains. And while she's still using English... they can at least carry on a conversation?

Her attention returns to the beginning exposition and she listens. And as it plays, it's with wonder that the little universe observes. She doesn't bother to eat, instead, she presses in against Kara, wanting to spend that time with her.

"What would you do?" she asks at one point. "With wish?"

Kara Danvers has posed:
The recognition in Sing's white eyes is evident enough if you know what to look for and Kara, thinks anyways, that she does. Grinning when bits of her language are becoming familiar enough for the Universe to understand her without needing to speak English. Her eyes sparkle, a look of gratitude that is hard to actually convey verbally. So instead she reaches out and squeezes Sing's hand, bringing it up to kiss her knuckles. "Thank you."

The popcorn is tossed into her own mouth, though she really doesn't get hungry in the traditional sense. She just really enjoys food. Some of the flavors are rather quite delicious! Like Wieners.

Wieners are the best.

"Me? Hrm... well..." Pondering this, she wraps her arms around Sing's waist and rests her chin upon the Universe's shoulder, staring at the screen curiously.. "Probably to see Krypton one last time."

Singularity has posed:
When her knuckles are kissed, the little universe beams with warmth and pride. She is pleased to have made Kara that happy, at least as she glances up at the blonde, the movie momentarily forgotten as she wishes to Kara's wish.

When she speaks next, it's a thoughtful sound. "I can travel between dimensions. Can bring few with me. If I have time to prepare." she explains. "Could find one that has Krypton. If you told me what to look for. Or showed me. I exist in all places. All times. All dimensions." She hopes that makes sense.

"Maybe. Could take you to your Krypton. In past. Would be dangerous. I could lose my anchor. Could not remember how to return. I wouldn't want to risk. Unless I knew for sure. You would be safe with me. Do not want to lose you in the space between."

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara tilts her head curiously at what Sing is suggestion. Time Travel. "I have seen others develop this kind of technology, but it always seemed like a lot of work to get somewhere that's already happened... or to a future that maybe never exist." She continues to consider, running her hand along the back of Sing's shoulders. Not necessarily forgetting th emovie, but she's seen it enough times that she could quote it by heart anyways.

"We have several crystals from Krypton that contain intricate details about the planet that would otherwise have been lost upon it's destruction. Not just images, but actual... uh... holograms, I believe is the word humans use for it, but these are things you can manipulate and look at from different angles."

Her smile flickers, "So far they have been satisfactory given the alternative, but if you think that you could actually TAKE us there... I.. I would do so just so that you could be there with me to see it."

Singularity has posed:
Singularity makes happy noises beneath Kara's touch as she settles her hands on the forearm that is still around her waist.

"You will take me to see them sometime?" comes Sing's hopeful question. "Would like to see your home. Where you are from. Learn more about you. You know where I came from. All around you." She is just a small universe inside a much much larger universe. "Could be small you and me inside me." That said teasingly. "It will take time. But could try. But dangerous." she reiterates as she squeezes Kara's forearm. "Could end up trapped with me. For all eternity."

Kara Danvers has posed:
"I would be happy to show you." Kara says this without even thinking about it, as if there was never a doubt that she would. It's got to be like seeing old family photos. Plus her mom is going to be very particular of showing photos of her as a kid. Her hand turns over to run her thumb along her wrist where it rests atop her arm around Sing's waist.

"If it's too dangerous, I wouldn't want you to do it. Not that the thought of being trapped with you for eternity is a 'bad' thing..." A cheeky grin, chin resting on Sing's shoulder right by her cheek. "A little me, inside you.. Hah, if so, I hope she has grown up to be a scientist and never has to live half the things that I have." her expression doesn't sour, but there's a drop at the corners of her mouth that almost turns her smile upsidedown.

"I have met two other me's... well, one other me and a clone of her. Power Girl? Have you heard of Power Girl? She's... well... me... only older and from a different dimension. And Divine, she's a clone of Power Girl. So, in theory, a clone of me."

Singularity has posed:
"Good!" Singularity is cheered by the idea. Not that she knows she will probably meet Kara's mom. That would be interesting. Noone's ever brought her to meet parents before. "I will make sure it is safe. If safe, then we will go." comes the universe's promise to the Kryptonian as she moves her braid so she can stretch back against Kara, arms going up to loop around her neck.

"If not who you are. Would have never met." she points out. "I am glad of who you are. And proud. But can understand your words." And would probably give up her claim if Kara could have had the life she truly wished for.

She leans up, and brushes her cheek against Kara's before giving it a kiss. "I have not met other yous. Have seen pictures of Power Girl. Sure she's clone? Her chest seems different." Kara can't really tell if she's genuinely curious or being mischevious. "Not heard of Divine. You have many family here?"

Kara Danvers has posed:
"I don't regret what I have been through or where it has brought me." Kara is careful to explain with a grin, cheek against the back of Sing's shoulder. "For a multitude of reasons, but you are definitely at the top of them." Saying this, she squeezes gently around the Universe's waist. "But if I could spare a different me having to lose her world, I would. Things play out in strange ways no matter what elements or variables we move. I've seen what happens when seemingly insignificant details are altered... so... who can know how good or bad anything would turn out. Really it's just me thinking outloud."

A wider grin at the mention of how different Power Girl's chest is. "She's a me from somewhere else.. Only the same in who we were, not who we are. I've never seen anything that indicates I will become here... I did use to worry about that... Wouldn't mind the boobs, though." It's a running joke. Divine, "She is very different from both Power Girl and Me, but also the same." And kind of hard to explain how. "A few. Several clones of Kal, my mother, some of Kal's children from the future. Myself, Power Girl, and Divine. Also an entire planet of Kryptonians who survived.. a hundred thousand or so, but I'm as related to them as an Englishman is related to a Fish."

Singularity has posed:
"You have more than worid. You have universe." Singularity offers as she reaches down, her hand caressing against the outside of Kara's thigh. "Things I did not want happen happened to bring me to you. Lost one reality. Gained another. Here now. Here always."

The movie at this point is forgotten as Sing is into the conversation with Kara. "Not care about size of chest." she comments with a small smirk. "Could alter mine. Like the way I look, though." she points out and turns so that her lean is no longer her back, but her side to Kara's front as her hand slides around Kara's waist to hold onto her. Her other hand raises, placed over Kara's heart to feel her blood pump through that heart that is wholly unique.

"You have no future children?" comes the question as she looks to Kara. Because if she does, that could make things complicated, right? Not really, if there is anyone that understands the timey wimey complexities of alternativer universe, dimensions and timelines, it would be a universe. "Are you the fish or the Englishman?"

Kara Danvers has posed:
"I think I'm the fish." Kara says this, then puckers her lips and does fish mouth. Opening and closing the small Oh over and over for a couple seconds before breaking into a little snicker. Her grip tightens around Sing's waist, chin once again laid upon her shoulder to stare in the direction of the movie, but isn't really seeing it.

"I agree. I'm happy where I am, right now. I wish that there was a way to have my cake and also eat the cake because I like cake.. I think that's the meaning of that metaphor... metaphors are the strangest part of human dialect, for me." It's possible she's kidding by the way she's grinning.

The question, however, has her shaking her head. "None that have ever come back from the future to tell me about it..." A flickering little smirk, "But I also have never gone to the future to find out... so who knows. My friends tell me that I am the leader of New Krypton in a thousand years, though."

Singularity has posed:
Singularity giggles as Kara makes the fish face. And she gets brave. In the middle of the fish, she leans up and steals a kiss from the Kryptonian. Chu! A quick, affectionate kiss, before she sinks back down into Kara's arms.

She addresses the future first. "Did they tell you if there was a Quantum Universe by your side as you ruled?" she asked curiously. "Because I would be there if it were you." she admits, and then she considers. And her smile turns mischevious.

Without looking up at Kara, her tone belying no emotion, because she just wants to put it out there. "...you have cake." she points out. "You just have to want to eat it. "

Kara Danvers has posed:
Kara puts on the most unbelievable look of betrayal when the kiss is STOLEN.. Agast... eyebrows up, eyes wide, mouth hanging ajar. But she can't keep it up and ends up grinning like a bafoon. Wrapped arms grow tighter, but this isn't anywhere near a dangerous strength of affection.

"They didn't mention it, but I don't know if they'd have known to look.. And time is so variable anyways. Maybe that future hadn't really been written until I get there and they were just seeing what was possible from where we already exist in the timeline.. Or maybe it wasn't even our timeline, but a different one." The scientist.

That laughs.

A barking laugh at that.

"Oooo is that a fact?" Nuzzling cheek to cheek, "Well, I'll just grab some icing then."

Singularity has posed:
Squeezed against Kara, Singularity is a tough little universe and is more than capable of handling a Krptonian's affections.

Better than some human!

"Yes. Basic idea. Every universe is a change and then they're all brought in line together. Somehow." Boy, the TVA would have a fit if they knew about Singularity.

And then she's laughing. And it may be a bark, but Sing loves it. She wiggles out of her girlfriend's arms and hops up. Arm across her chest, under her small star-dusted bust. "Okay!" Because Kara said she wanted frosting.
